The suspect behind a violent N.M. church stabbing on Sunday morning has been identified. According to police, 24-year-old Lawrence Capener is currently being detained and questioned in connection with the brutal assault that left four parishioners injured.

Capener is accused of launching into a viscous stabbing attack during Sunday services at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. According to witnesses, the suspect suddenly jumped from his seat and began repeatedly stabbing the choir leader. Three additional choir members were also injured during the attack.

Tasia Martinez, a spokesperson for the Albuquerque Police Department, confirmed that Capener was taken into custody following the altercation.

“He is currently being interviewed and will be facing numerous felony charges,” Martinez explained.

According to authorities, Capener is not a member of the N.M. church and his motive in the stabbing attack has not been determined.

Vanessa Lucero, a 14-year-old parishioner and witness to the stabbing, claims the suspect was seated directly in front of her before the attack began.

In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, she described Capener as “kind of twitchy, sketchy looking. He had a tattoo of an upside-down star on his wrist.”

According to other church members, the choir was in the midst of performing a hymn when Capener suddenly rushed forward with his weapon drawn. Some parishioners recall the suspect shouting, “Fake preacher!” as he proceeded to punch and stab the choir soloist. In the ensuing scuffle, three other choir members were also stabbed.

“While that was going on, people were just panicking. It was scary, you wouldn’t think something like that would happen in church,” explained Reyes Stinson, who also witnessed the stabbing.

Several church members — including an off-duty fire fighter — managed to physically restrain Capener, pinning him to the ground until authorities arrived at the church.

“The scene was chaotic when officers arrived and it was quickly ascertained that numerous parishioners essentially jumped on the male offender and held him down until officers arrived,” described Martinez.

The four N.M. church stabbing victims, whose names have not yet been released, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. According to Albuquerque police, they escaped the violent assault with non-life threatening injuries and are expected to fully recover.

Greg Norman believes pro golf’s drug-testing procedures are shall we say subpar, disgraceful in fact, and that any golfer on the tour who takes PEDs is cheating.

He also insists that random blood testing for steroids and other drugs needs to be implemented in the sport right away to make sure golf is clean. In a sense, the Shark is out for blood.

In an interview in his native Australia, Norman specifically referenced the Vijay Singh incident. Singh admitted in January that he used deer antler spray, a substance banned by the Professional Golfers Association and other sports leagues. “You only have to look at what happened to Vijay Singh just recently to know the drugs issue is there,” Norman observed.

In the Shark’s opinion, the tour needs to implement blood testing pronto to find out how many golfers are juicing. “How deep it is (the problem), I have no idea because we only do urine analysis instead of blood testing. If you really want to be serious about it and find about what’s really going on, we need to do blood testing. I think it’s disgraceful, to tell you the truth. The golf associations have to get together and step it up.”

Added Norman: “It’s a pinprick for a player and you find out what’s going on. If you’re the head of golf or any sport, if you’re the commissioner for a sport, it’s your responsibility to make sure your sport is clean … That should be your No. 1 priority.”

If you’re an athlete who takes steroids or other performance enhancing drugs, be advised that you will not be on Greg Norman’s Christmas card list: “Any sportsman or sportswoman who uses an outside agency to improve their skills is cheating, sickens me. They’re putting a black eye on their sport. If a sport gets itself clean, the corporate dollars will always be there because people will know it’s a sport they can trust. The rest will take care of itself.”

Earlier this month, Greg Norman wasn’t shy either about expressing a strong opinion about the Tiger Woods dropped-ball controversy at the Masters. On Twitter, Norman insisted that Woods should have withdrawn from the tournament for the integrity of the game.

In his heyday in the 1980s and 1990s, Greg Norman was the number one pro golfer in the world and made a fortune in the sport as well as in various other entrepreneurial ventures. He won 89 tournaments but only two Majors, along the way developing a reputation for underperforming at crunch time.

Amy Winehouse looks set to have a road named after her in north London, almost two years after the singer died.

Residents in Kings Cross have been asked to submit their own ideas for who they should name the new street after, and, as it is very close to Winehouse’s former home in Camden, she is believed to be favorite.

Other names being considered are the infamous author Charles Dickens and Frankenstein writer Mary Shelley, but Winehouse’s fans have now submitted the name, “Winehouse Street,” and it is being considered by those heading the project.

Mitch Winehouse, Amy’s father, has supported the project, stating, “To think that our surname would be indelibly linked with London through the naming of a street after Amy is remarkable. We’re a London family through and through and it would be a tremendous honour if we do become a literal part of the fabric of this great city.”

Mitch has been protecting his daughter’s legacy recently, speaking ill of Beyonce and Andre 3000′s rendition of Amy’s, “Back to Black.”

He took to his Twitter account and stated, “I just heard the Andre part of Back to Black. Terrible. He should have let Beyonce do it all. Mitch.” The song has been recorded for the upcoming movie, The Great Gatsby, an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel by Baz Luhrmann starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Toby Maguire.

Other tributes planned for Winehouse include a statue that is due to erected in Camden in 2014. It has been designed by the artist Scott Eaton, and she will also be honored when Camden’s Walk of Fame opens later in 2013.

Meanwhile, a documentary movie is also in the works and will be directed by Asif Kapadia, the filmmaker behind 2011′s critically acclaimed, Senna, which told the story of Brazilian Formula 1 driver, Ayrton Senna.

Chris Broussard seems to think that Jason Collins isn’t a good Christian.

The ESPN NBA reporter is now taking a lot of heat on social media for his controversial comments made earlier today on Outside The Lines.

As everyone in the world knows, Jason Collins has come out as the first openly gay active player in the NBA or of the major sports for that matter. The California native and Stanford graduate was drafted by the Houston Rockets in 2011 as the 18th overall pick in the first round, but he played his first seven seasons in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets (who are now the Brooklyn Nets). In addition to the Nets, Boston Celtics, and Washington Wizards, the journeyman center has also played for the Memphis Grizzlies, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Atlanta Hawks.

In his Sports Illustrated article, Collins indicated that he is a Christian which evidently didn’t sit well with Chris Broussard, who said the following:

“Personally, I don’t believe that you can live an openly homosexual lifestyle or an openly, like premarital sex between heterosexuals. If you’re openly living that type of lifestyle, then the Bible says you know them by their fruits. It says that, you know, that’s a sin. If you’re openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be, not just homosexuality, adultery, fornication .. .whatever it maybe, I believe that’s walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ. So I would not characterize that person as a Christian because I don’t think the bible would characterize them as a Christian.”

In a separate ESPN segment, Broussard said that Collins. 34, is a great guy and well respected around the league, but that for reasons of political correctness, most players will be publicly supportive of him. He added that Collins’ announcement has less of an impact because at this stage of his career, he is a mediocre player. The impact of this announcement would have been earth-shattering, according to Broussard, if Collins was an NBA superstar.

A Mt. Everest brawl included climbers and Sherpas near the mountain’s summit in what could be the world’s highest altitude fight.

A team of thee European solo climbers described how they were attacked by a group of Sherpas near the famous mountain’s peak. The violence apparently began at 24,000 feet — 5,029 feet below the summit.

The brawl reportedly began after three Alpine mountaineers and high altitude guides engaged in an argument. One Sherpa also allegedly threatened the group with an ice axe.

All three claimed they were attacked with stones and rocks by a large group of sherpas after they retreated to a lower camp. The climbers were Italian Simone Moro, Swiss Ueli Steck, and Briton Jonathan Griffith. The three climbers claimed that their lives were saved by the intervention of other western campers who were camped out at Camp 2.

Nepal government spokesmen and Sherpa leaders confirmed the fight took place, adding it was the first incident of its kind they could recall. One Sherpa blamed the “poor English” of the Italian climber along with on of the Sherpas for the “misunderstanding” that caused the Mt. Everest brawl.

An American bystander who witnessed the high-altitude brawl recalled, “The Sherpas told the team not to climb above them while they were fixing the ropes but they did it anyway. Then some ice fell and hit the Sherpas, which made them angry.”

The witness added of the attack at Campt Two, “It was terrifying to watch — they nearly got killed.” A meeting between some of the climbers and the Nepalese guides took place on Monday. Nepalese tourism official Surendra Sapkota, stated, “Both parties apologized to each other and ended the meeting amicably.”

The Mt. Everest brawl apparently took place on 8 am Saturday morning while the Sherpas were fixing a route for guided expeditions to Camp 3. It is not yet clear whether the climbers will continue their expedition.

With Lincoln making a huge splash with viewers, it was only a matter of time before someone decided to push forth with a biopic on Hillary Rodham Clinton. As the first lady during Bill Clinton’s presidency, Hillary had to endure a historical embarrassment, which saw her standing by her husband’s side after he had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

This isn’t the first time that Hollywood is taking Hillary’s plight up to task. This year mini series Political Animals took creative license with her story, as Sigourney Weaver played a divorced, former First Lady, who was serving as the Secretary of State. However, this is the first time Clinton will be receiving her own full-fledged biopic.

The biopic is described as:
“Rodham focuses on Hillary’s youth as a hot shot lawyer, who was the youngest selected for the House Judiciary Committee to Impeach Nixon. At the time Hillary was weighing her options between staying in Washington, D.C. and digging into a career in politics, or reconnecting with her boyfriend Bill Clinton, who was teaching in Arkansas.”

Screenwriter Kim describes it as a “journey of a woman who was torn between her personal desires and her professional ambition — both literally pulled her thousands of miles apart, because Bill did not want to leave Arkansas, and she did not want to leave Washington, D.C.”

Director James Ponsoldt of the indie film Smashed, is said to direct the film, and Young II Kim is receiving massive buzz around the script. All the pieces seem to be falling into place for the Rodham biopic. All the project needs is someone who will be able to take on the lead role of Hillary Clinton.

The role will need a commanding actress, who isn’t afraid to represent the woman, without it coming off as a parody. Think more Julianne Moore’s Sarah Palin rather than Tina Fey’s SNL version. The Clinton portrayal will need someone who’s just as talented and up for the task.

The Toledo Mud Hens will be wearing Chewbacca jerseys this May for “Star Wars Day” at Fifth Third Field in Ohio.

The team celebrates “Star Wars Weekend” every year but the organization is especially excited for this year’s event due to the upcoming movie.

The Toledo Hens will wear the Chewbacca jerseys on May 4 for the “May the Fourth Be With You” celebration and then against on Sunday for “Revenge of the Fifth.”

According to Toledo News Now, the Chewbacca jerseys will be auctioned off at the end of each game for charity.

The team writes on Milb.com: “Some of the Mud Hens have been playing professional baseball for years, but during the first weekend in May they’ll all be Wookiees! See the Hens in their special edition Chewbacca-inspired jerseys on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. The jerseys will be available for purchase during the games via a silent auction.”

Star Wars fans will also get to meet characters from the movie like Darth Vader, Princess Leia and a bunch of Storm Troopers, and have their pictures taken at the Star Wars costume photo booth. Oh, and who can forget the mega-kazoo giveaway.

Fangoria Kickstarter film The Facility has been scheduled for launch next week, according to a Monday report on the horror publisher’s website.

The film will be directed by Zombie Honeymoon helmsman David Gebroe, who admitted on Monday that he had been “a Fangoria fan since I was a little kid.”

“Fango was so incredibly supportive of me during my experience with Zombie Honeymoon … so, frankly, the opportunity to write and direct the first Fangoria Original might have been enough incentive for me. However, during initial talks with the producer, I quickly realized the potential of marrying a good horror story with a legitimate conspiracy thriller, and the project immediately started to become appealing to me on a much more fundamental level,” Gebroe said.

The website also released a few scant details without digging around in the guts of the project.

The official description: “If the A-Team were instead a small group of your every day garden variety National Guardsmen, activated during Hurricane Sandy to guard and protect an isolated government building — and they met Dr. Moreau(!) — you would have some sort of idea of what this movie is about.”

For those of you who aren’t familiar with The Island of Dr. Moreau, the story is an 1896 novel penned by famous sci-fi writer H.G. Wells (The Time Machine, War of the Worlds). It centers on a mad scientist, who conducts a number of horrific experiments that result in an island of abominable creatures.

It was originally filmed in 1932 as Island of Lost Souls and then again in 1977 (starring Burt Lancaster as Dr. Moreau) and 1996 with Marlon Brando.

Thus far, there have been three direct adaptations of the story, according to IMDb. The Facility won’t change that as it’s more of a derivative work than an actual adaptation.

The Fangoria Kickstarter should launch at the beginning of next week. No idea how much the publisher is seeking, but the crowd-funding website is pretty lucrative for the indie scene.

Recently, Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas raised $5.7 million — he was only seeking $2 million — for a continuation of his long-canceled television series.

Actor-writer-director Zach Braff also recently pushed past his $2 million goal for Wish I Was Here with the better part of a month left to go.

Nicki Minaj looks set to make her movie debut, after she joined the cast of Fox’s comedy, The Other Woman.

She will star alongside Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton, and Leslie Mann, in the movie which will be directed by Nick Cassavetes, the man behind Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdam’s, The Notebook.

Minaj previously starred in Ice Age 4: Continental Drift, where she provided her vocal talent to proceedings as Steffie the mammoth.

It is believed that Minaj will play Diaz’s assistant at a law firm, who by all accounts is a very opinionated gal.

The Other Woman is written by Melissa Stack, a screenwriting novice, and revolves around Diaz’s lawyer who soon discovers that she is “the other woman” in an affair, and looks to team up with her lover’s wife, played by Leslie Mann, to exact revenge.

The Other Woman will beging shooting over the next few weeks.

Minaj is currently very hard at work on American Idol, where she is acting as a judge. She has been a divisive figure on the programme but one man who has been impressed by her is the guy she replaced, Steven Tyler.

The Aerosmith singer stated, “I like Mariah … and I’m a big fan of Keith (Urban), but if you really think about it, you want some drama. Put me in a room with Nicki. Put me in a room with Nicki! I wish it was Randy, me and Nicki Minaj. It would’ve been a hoot!”

This comes just weeks after Minaj accused Tyler of being a racist, after he looked to intervene between Minaj’s feud with Mariah Carey.

Tyler dismissed this accusation though stating, “I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki … But I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don’t know where she got that out of me saying I’m sure how she would’ve judged Bob Dylan.”

Could Tim Tebow be joining the Lingerie Football League? The New York Jets released their seldom used quarterback today and he has already received offers from the Canadian Football League and the LFL.

Tebow wants to keep playing in the NFL but it doesn’t seem like he’s going to have many options. He may decide to spend a few years in the CFL. He could also decide to end his football playing career to become a quarterback coach in the Lingerie Football League.

Tebow’s moral beliefs may keep him away from the LFL but before the former Jets quarterback turns down Mortaza’s offer he should know that the LFL recently ditched the lingerie. The league recently re-branded itself the Legends Football League in an attempt to become a more organization. The LFL would get a little extra credibility if they could add Tebow to the roster.

LFL President Mitchell Mortaza writes: “Now that it appears Mr. Tim Tebow’s career in the National Football League may be coming to an end, we at Legends Football League would like to extend him an offer to become our Quarterbacks Coach nationally.”

Tebow is a media magnet and the LFL has been looking for a way to draw attention to itself. Sure, having girls playing football in skimpy outfits earns a little attention on its own but it doesn’t really bring in the national media. Tebow could definitely draw a few more cameras into the stadium.

Of course, Tebow wouldn’t really benefit from joining the LFL. He’d get to stay in the public eye, make a few bucks, and get to work with beautiful women everyday. But Tebow isn’t ready to give up on the NFL just yet.

Amanda Palmer has suggested that Morrissey should use Kickstarter, or another crowdsource, to fund his new album.

The former Dresden Dolls singer is obviously a huge Morrissey fan, and she has written an open letter for Salon, suggesting that he should look at an alternative source to create any new record.

Palmer stated,” You [Morrissey] have some of the most fanatical fans in the world; caring and devoted people from countries far and wide who would be really, really happy to support you at levels far beyond $5 just to have the one songs in their ears.”

She then added, “You’re possibly one of the best candidates on the planet to use crowd funding, because of who you are and what you mean.”

Previously Palmer had asked her Twitter followers how many of them would pay $5 to fund a Morrissey album, which would only be available online. She then received over 1,400 response stating their interest.

Palmer then suggested that Morrissey doesn’t need a record label anymore, and even remarked that they are now obsolete.

“What does one need a record label for nowadays?,” said Palmer. “To put albums in stores? The stores are closing. To make all the phone calls, so that the radio plays the album? The radio stations are closing. The good outlets with human beings programming them (non-commercial radio, college, the BBC) will probably just download the record if it’s good, and play it.”

Palmer though doesn’t think that Morrissey will actually go through with it though.

She concluded her letter, “Since I know you almost definitely won’t do this and that you may well think I’m a bothersome a**whole for writing you this open letter, I’d just like to say this, You may be the end of a family line, but you have spawned a lot of singing, songwriting children, whether you like it or not, and I proudly count myself as one of them.”

The Hangover Part III just landed a new TV spot.

The Hangover was a comedy which helped launch the careers of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis by asking the question of how messed up can things get when you’re too drunk to remember. It basically took the concept of Dude, Where’s My Car? and put a more serious story behind it, and didn’t rely on two guys making goofy faces the entire time, something that Dumb and Dumber did better.

The second Hangover film basically did the same thing all over again, but put the characters in Thailand with a monkey after a pre-wedding brunch gone awry.  This time there’s no wedding and no bachelor party.

The Hangover 3 TV spot begins with one of the guys proclaiming, “This is the worst place on Earth.”

Another guy replies, “I know, right? So many good memories.”

Phil, Stu and Alan are seen walking through a posh casino as we see snippets of Vegas scenery, and then stopping to admire some of it.

The text zooms in on the screen, “On May 24,” before Alan (Zach Galifianakis) is seen delivering a nut shot to a suit of armor with a big hammer. Phil (Bradley Cooper) gives us his famous grin as Alan drives along in a convertible and yells, “My life is great!”

The text says, “Go back.”

Someone says, “Is that Chow?” We see Ken Jeong flying along in a parachute and laughing.

Then we see Heather Graham saying, “Oh my God, you guys!”

The Woman in Black sequel has its leads in Jeremy Irvine and Phoebe Fox, according to a Monday report from horror website and magazine Fangoria.

The website noted that the plot to last year’s ghostly shocker will take place in World War II. The Marsh House has been converted into a shelter for needy children, and is a virtual hunting ground for the murderous specter from the original, which itself was based on Susan Hill’s novel of the same name.

British television director Tom Harper will take the reins from James Watkins on Jon Croker’s script.

Rather than The Woman in Black 2, producers have gone the subtitle route, settling on The Woman in Black: Angels of Death.

The Woman in Black sequel will be the seventh from the resurrected Hammer Films when it releases next year. It was preceded by the Daniel Radcliffe-starring first entry as well as Beyond the Rave, Let Me In, The Resident, Wake Wood, and, last but not least, The Quiet Ones, which releases this year.

The Quiet Ones stars Jared Harris (Ulysses S. Grant from 2012′s Lincoln and Lane Pryce from Mad Men) as a university physics professor, who assembles a team to help create a poltergeist. Sam Claflin (Snow White and the Huntsman, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) will co-star.

The Woman in Black, released in early 2012, was shot on a budget of $13 million and turned a profit in its first three days of release. As the first post-Harry Potter film for Radcliffe, it has met with commercial and critical success.

Female DNA was discovered on at least one of the Boston Marathon bombs, though investigators have not yet determined how the DNA got inside the bomb.

Officials have yet to determine whose DNA it is, or whether it means the Boston bombers had help from a woman to carry out their attacks.

There are several possibilities for how a woman’s DNA could have gotten into the Boston Marathon bomb. For example, it could have been deposited by a store clerk who handled materials later placed inside the pressure cooker bomb. It also could have been from a stray hair that ended up inside.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents were spotted leaving the Rhode Island home of Katherine Russell’s parents on Monday. Russell is the widow of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the oldest suspected Boston bomber. Tsarnaev died after a shootout with police four days after the bombings.

An unnamed official familiar with the investigation revealed that agents went to the home on Monday to collect a DNA sample from Russell after days of negotiations. They added that FBI officials have been negotiating with the woman’s attorney to get more access to question her.

The DNA request was apparently needed to determine whether it matched the female DNA found on the bomb remnants. Russell has been staying with her parents since the bombings. FBI agents have frequently been spotted posted outside the home since Tamerlan was identified as one of the suspected bombers.

The woman is one of several people who investigators are interested in as they work to find out if the Tsarnaev brothers had any help reportedly building the bomb, or in the days after the attack happened. Russell’s lawyer has said that the widow is “doing everything she can to assist with the investigation.”

It is not clear when, or if, the FBI will release the results of the DNA tests to determine the identity of the female DNA left on the Boston bombs.

First footage from the upcoming sci-drama Snowpiercer has debuted online.

Captain American alum Chris Evans stars in Bong Joon-ho’s English-language debut. Although fans have been keeping busy with some conceptual artwork and a handful of promotional photos, very little about the film has been circulated.

Although the embedded featurette shows more behind-the-scenes footage than anything else, it’s still cool to see some of the movie’s elements in action. Chris Evans fans will surely be taken aback by the actor’s appearance in the flick, especially if all they know of the man is his work in the Marvel movies.

Many of us were wondering when and if the film would make its way to the states. Thankfully, the fine folks at The Weinstein Company have picked up the Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi flick for distribution in North America. However, an exact release date has yet to be hammered out as of this writing.

Check out the official synopsis:

“Based on the French graphic novel ‘Le Transperceneige,’ [the story] is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.”

Chris Evans isn’t the only familiar face that has signed on to star in Snowpiercer. The drama also features Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Brewmner, Alison Pill, John Hurt, and Song Kangho.

Although American moviegoers may not be familiar with Bong Joon-ho’s, the director has made a handful of acclaimed films in South Korean. Among his credits are the drama Mother, the monster flick The Host, and the acclaimed mystery Memories of Murder.

Unfortunately, a release date for Snowpiercer isn’t available at the moment. However, it would appear that the film will arrive in select theaters in North America this summer.

Chad Johnson has had his ups and downs in the NFL but you can’t question the guys generosity. The man formerly known as Ochocinco recently spent the day with a homeless man.

Why? Well, because that’s just what Johnson does.

The former NFL player was approached by a homeless man named Robert. Ochocinco said that the man didn’t know his last name but said that his friends call him “pork chop.”

Pork Chop apparently asked Johnson to buy him a beer this weekend and the former NFL player kindly obliged. Actually, Johnson bought a bunch of beers and joined Pork Chop for a few drinks on the sidewalk.

Johnson then gave him a G-shock watch so that Pork Chop could tell time and then they listened to some music together. After that, the odd couple decided to go shopping at Urban Outfitters to get Pork Chop some new clothes.

Once Pork Chop was properly dressed, the two went to a nightclub and sat in the VIP section.

Johnson documented the entire day on Twitter and yes, he took plenty of pictures.

J.C. Penney has confirmed that it will receive a $1.75B loan from Goldman Sachs.

The massive five-year loan will help the struggling company pay for its operating costs as well as cover some of its growing debt. Although rumors started to circulate on Friday, J.C. Penney didn’t confirm the news until Monday.

The confirmation of the $1.75 billion loan comes days after billionaire financier George Soros revealed that he had taken a 7.9 percent stake in the retailer. This will make him the fourth larger largest J.C. Penney shareholder.

Although getting billions to stay afloat is certainly good news for the company, it illustrates how much the retailer has been struggling in recent months. J.C. Penney revealed earlier this month that it would borrow $850 million in order to boost its inventory and help out with operations.

The Chief Financial Officer said at the time:

“As we near completion of the home department transformation in over 500 stores, we have been undertaking and will continue to experience a significant inventory build and increase in capital expenditures. The draw under our revolver today provides more than our current funding needs to ensure our continued liquidity. Moreover, we will continue to explore additional capital raising alternatives with the assistance of our financial advisors.”

Chief Executive Officer Myron Ullman has been working hard to correct the problems left behind by former CEO Ron Johnson. Since ditching sales and coupons for low prices didn’t bring people back through the doors, Ullman has been increasing prices on some of the store’s products.

For example, the folks at Bloomberg pointed out that Ullman has increased the price of a pair of Dockers pants from $35 to $58. Sales and coupons will return, which essentially brings the company back to where it was before Johnson’s involvement.

Kanye West has reportedly finished recording his new album, and he has even previewed it to his record company too.

Radio station, Ho97, have declared that West, whose girlfriend Kim Kardashian is currently pregnant, recently completed his work on the record, which is his sixth solo effort and the follow-up to 2010′s, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Def Jam, West’s record label, even hosted a listening event for the album recently, and one of the station’s DJs, Paul Rosenberg, remarked, “Everyone at the label that listened to the album loved it. I’ve heard it’s dark, but really good.”

The album also features Daft Punk, both of whom worked on the record with West, and the French duo discussed the two songs they collaborated on with the rapper. They even remarked that he was “screaming primally” for his vocals.

Thomas Bangalter stated, “It was very raw: he was rapping – kind of screaming primally, actually.” Whilst Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo added, “Kanye doesn’t give a f***.”

Michel Gondry, the world reknowned film director who has helmed the likes of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Be Kind Rewind, has also heard two of the songs and revealed that a famous figure would be directing the music video for his next release.

Gondry stated, “One of them, I told him it sounded solid and powerful – I envisioned a cube when I heard it. He told me, Chris Cunningham’s already directing the video.”

Over the past few weeks West has been hinting at his new album, telling a crowd in Zurich in March that he’ll release new music “in a couple of months,” adding that he had been working on some new material too.

West is set to appear on Saturday Night Live this coming Saturday, alongside Ben Affleck. Both are making their fifth appearances on the infamous comedy programme.
