It’s definitely no secret that Jennifer, 45, is still very hot and attractive, despite her age. In today’s time, she would be known as a “cougar,” making her the perfect actress to star in the upcoming comedy film.

From the looks of things at the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), information has yet to be updated. Though the information on the site is still not the most recent, the site does point to sources containing the Jennifer Lopez movie.

E! News is one of the mentioned mediums, and it quotes as follows.

“Details on the project are being kept under wraps, but the comedy is described as Bridesmaids meets First Wives Club— which already sounds amazing — and will serve as a starring vehicle for Lopez.”

Even Rihanna, after having worked with Jennifer in Home, acclaims about Lopez’s cougar-like qualities.

It’s understandable to see how the popstar would say that Jennifer can make you believe that she’s a mom. Lopez has an extensive acting career. And part of acting can be “getting into character.” Well, Jennifer’s already into the motherly character all the time with her seven-year-old twins. So, in essence, Lopez has had plenty of practice time, off-camera.

In the interview with E! News, she gave her side of the motherly calling she’s started undertaking.

“It feels good. I love being a mom. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. [But] Rihanna is not Rihanna in this movie. She’s 11!”

Regardless of Rihanna’s pretend age, Jennifer’s real age seems to add to her attractiveness, integrating her in the socially popular “elite” of mothers.

Jennifer Lopez Signs On For ‘Mothers I’d Like To …’ is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Joy Webb wanted to take someone very special to her one-and-only prom. After all, it’s the highlight of a student’s year and an event with memories to be recalled for a lifetime. So she decided to ask her beloved grandfather, affectionately called “Poppa,” to the event, according to WSB-TV, Channel 2 Atlanta. A junior at Albertville High School in Albertville, Alabama, she decided that she did not want to attend the dance with another student, but would ask her grandfather instead.

“My family is everything to me, and I love him so much, and it’s just like really special to me because I know not many people get to do that. I know he loves me and I love him, and it’s just really neat and special.”

Joy’s grandfather’s name is James Drain and he stated that his granddaughter told him directly that she wanted to have him as her prom date, saying she worded her “promposal” as follows. “You’re the one I wanted! Hey, will you come to the prom with me and be my beau?” And he happily responded, “I sure will!”

Drain is 80 years old and never had the opportunity to attend a prom in his eight decades of life, although he wished he had the opportunity to do so. Life had other plans. He dropped out of school to join the Navy and fought in the Korean War, according to People. He never had the opportunity to wear a tuxedo to an event, so when Webb saw her “Poppa” in his prom duds, she was taken aback. Joy said the following regarding why she decided on her date, according to the Daily Mail.

“I think prom is kind of a big thing for everybody. Most everybody remembers going to their prom and I wanted him to have that experience too.”

Before heading off to the big event, the two exchanged the following banter, obviously enchanted by each other. Drain, with enthusiasm, piped up, “I can’t wait, can you?” And Webb enthusiastically replied,”No, I can’t wait either. I’m so excited. You look so handsome.”

The perfect date began with a Cinderella-esque carriage ride. Then, at the dance, Drain still had the moves. He and his wife used to go dancing until she passed away two years ago. He still dances at a senior center.

One of the last couples to leave the dance, they boogied to oldies by Elvis Presley and Chubby Checker. Their magical enchanted evening continued until the lights were turned on. Webb noted that she had the best time with her grandfather and was happy that he was her date on this night to remember.

Proms are such special events that call for extraordinary treatment. According to an unrelated article in the Inquisitr, 18-year-old Hannah Tate had a rare form of kidney cancer and spent most of her senior year at St. Jude Regional Children’s Hospital, instead of attending Alcoa High School, Tennessee. She spent the time battling cancer, receiving chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries The chemo led to the loss of her hair. It led her to request a wig from celebrity stylist Tokyo Stylez on Instagram. He surprised her with a total makeover for her prom.

Multi-platinum R&B singer Deborah Cox spoke out recently regarding her vocals in the Whitney Houston Lifetime movie. She also touched on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s tragic situation, and prays for a miracle.

Cox is no stranger to making hit music. For over a decade, she’s released several smash hits, such as “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here,” and “We Can’t Be Friends.” With a strong track record, it’s no surprise she was chosen to sing lead vocals on Houston’s biopic, Whitney, which aired in January on Lifetime.

Yet, not everyone applauded Cox for her efforts, including Whitney’s mom, Cissy Houston, who spoke out last July, pleading with Lifetime Network to let her daughter be.

“Lifetime has chosen to go ahead with the movie about Whitney in spite of my family’s objections. “No one connected with this movie knew Whitney or anything about her relationship with Bobby [Brown].”

However, Cox wasn’t didn’t get involved in the dispute between the Houston family and Lifetime while she re-recorded Whitney’s songs. In fact, she told US Weekly that she didn’t talk to the family regarding the movie.

“I didn’t hear anything from the family. There was something between Lifetime and the family that was a bit awkward. But all of us as a team wanted to make sure the music sounded authentic.”

Cox did admit, however, that there were different views and feelings of many people regarding the movie. However, she said she simply wanted to honor the late R&B and pop singer that touched so many lives.

“There was a lot of mixed feelings. It is a sensitive thing, but it’s a very complex situation. I really just wanted to honor her and this was a way to do that. I’ve always loved her music so it was a great tribute.”

Cissy Houston wasn’t the only family member to have issues with the movie. In June of last year, Bobbi Kristina Brown slammed Angela Bassett, the director of Whitney.

Bassett refused to cast the young Bobbi Kristina in the role of her mother, which sparked disagreements between the two. Although many felt that Bobbi would have been the best choice, since she knew her mother better than most people, Bassett indicated that she wanted someone with experience.

“I did not think about casting her. And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there. I know she’s been on their family’s reality show, but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft.”

Meanwhile, although Deborah Cox isn’t close with the Brown or Houston family, she is praying for a miracle for Bobbi Kristina. Cox stated that she thinks of the young reality show star often, and hopes for the best.

“It’s very sad. I’ve said my prayers. I hope for a miracle.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown remains in a coma that she hasn’t emerged from since January 31, after being found face-down in her bathtub. She’s currently getting treatment at Atlanta’s Dekalb Medical hospital, and family members are asking for continued prayers and support.

Spider-man, the Marvel super hero, shares a lot in common with Superman and Batman. Even though they hail from completely different comic book publishers, DC and Marvel, their film history shares a common problem. Superman has had more adaptations than both comic book characters, but Man of Steel is considered by some to be the best.

Batman finally found his film footing with Tim Burton, but crashed under the weight of Joel Schumacher and bat nipples. Batman Begins and the Nolan Batman films saved the film adaptation of the character, as Cinema Blend reminds us.

Spider-man, as comic book film adaptation, made his breakthrough with Sam Raimi’s Spider-man 1 through 3. However, 3 received poor review, and the reboot crashed on its second outing. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has said the new Spider-man reboot, will be like Batman Begins. Before we speculate what that might mean, as per a report by Comicbook, Feige explains.

“There are so many things that are integral to his character in the comics that haven’t been explored yet. That’s what’s most exciting. Batman was the same way, there were four Batman movies over however many years and then Batman Begins was able to do something unique, tap into a side that hadn’t been seen before in the movies. It is a similar thing. Of course the tone is completely different than Batman.”

Despite how close many fans feel Sam Raimi’s Spider-man came to being a live-action version of the comics, there are others like Kevin Feige, who feel something has been missing from both Spider-man and the Amazing Spiderman films.

“When he puts that mask on in the comics, he has a non-stop wit that is almost as troublesome to the bad guys he is fighting as his webs and agility, and we feel we really haven’t seen that in the movies. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.”

The Inquisitr reports that we will once again see Peter Parker under Spider-man’s masks, but it will be lacking an origin story, which was part of both of the past two franchises. This does not seem to be something that many fans will miss, as it is pretty well established in film goers mind’s at this point.

However, it is surprising to some that another Spider-man was not chosen. With Miles Morales (Ultimate Spider-man), Ben Reilly(Scarlet Spider), Miguel O’hara(Spider-man 2099), and the many Spider women, it is a surprise to many that Marvel is not going in a different directions.

Though, with Marvel back in control of many of its characters and the big Marvel Civil War film arc, it makes sense to keep Peter Parker.

The Spider-man reboot hits theaters July 28, 2017.

‘Spider-Man’ Reboot Will Be Like ‘Batman Begins,’ Says Marvel President is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Constantine, the little NBC show that could, has had very tumultuous ride in its short life as a TV show. Producer Daniel Cerone has been keeping fans, and media alike, up-to-date on the future of NBC’s Constantine. The last bit of news on the fate of Vertigo comics’ magical, con-man/detective, as reported by Inquistr, was that the meeting had moved to April.

Apparently, the countless amounts of #Save Constantine has been having an effect because this time the Cerone report had some NBC clout to go along with it, Comicbook reports.

“I just received confirmation from the corporate offices at NBC. I was assured that Constantine has not been canceled and our pitch meeting to discuss a potential second season remains on the books. By the way, this is a pitch meeting involving the president of Warner Bros and the entertainment heads of NBC. Nobody at this incredibly busy time of the development season has time to waste taking pointless meetings.”

Since there has been many speculations that stated all producers and network claim all embattled shows have a chance, and Cerone was simply leading the fans on, he invoke NBC’s parent company Warner Bros. to prove his truthfulness. He also let Constantine fans in the on some of the decision making process, apparently, Grimm is also part of the deciding factor to the NBC show’s fate.

“Now, is it fair to say that Constantine is a long shot? Sure, that’s fair to say. While we marginally improved a tough time slot for NBC, we’re a very expensive show to produce. A lot of NBC’s decision making will not doubt hinge on their new pilots and how they feel those new shows would fare as a companion piece to Grimm, versus a second season of Constantine.”

This update seemed to be wise because Slashfilm and Buzzfeed, were initially under the impression Constantine had been given the boot by NBC executives today. However, as Daniel Cerone constantly updates us via Twitter, NBC’s Constantine is still up in the air. However, there at least seems to be serious consideration.

For the sake of John Constantine’s first TV adaptation and NBC comic book credibility, the Hellblazer and New 52 Constantine fans will not lose hope. Though many shows have had their own hash tags and internet campaigns, there just feels like something different about the Constantine crowd.

At the very least, one hopes no one will let the devil know about Constantine’s demise, should it happen. Well, at least one half-hour before the devil knows he is dead. Constantine is not Irish, but the phrase works all the same.

‘Constantine’ Producer Again Confirms That The Show Is Not Canceled, NBC Meeting Now With Warner Bros. President? is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Dancing With The Stars hosted Disney Night and Rumer Willis proved that even villains shine from time to time. While other dance couples honored classics like Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, and Pirates of the Caribbean, Rumer and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, chose The LIttle Mermaid with Ms. Willis portraying the evil Ursula.

Rumer’s Ursula netted the dance duo a nearly perfect score of 39 points. Dancing With The Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli each awarded Rumer and Val 10’s, while Len Goodman was the holdout, casting a vote of 9 for Willis and Chmerkovskiy. The samba performed by Rumer and Val was accompanied by “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid soundtrack.

It’s safe to say that all of the Dancing With The Stars judges were impressed by Ms. Willis choice.

Carrie Ann: “That was sickly creative, out of this world, odd, but it turned me on.”

Len: “That was amazing.”

Julianne: “The best dance of the night.

Bruno: “You did great, brilliantly.”

Ms. Willis and Val had initially planned to pay tribute to Frozen for their Dancing With The Stars routine, but they each decided they just weren’t into the number and followed their instincts to ditch it in favor of going with The Little Mermaid instead. It turned out to be a wise move and, for Rumer’s part, she confessed that she never felt comfortable in the role of a princess. Rumer found the idea of being able to “embrace my inner sea witch” much more appealing.

As is the case in any competition, there were also loser on this week’s Dancing With The Stars and the show lost Suzanne Somers, though the result couldn’t have been much of a surprise to Ms. Somers.

“I don’t think I can stay on the show…I’m lousy at it. I hate it,” Somers told Dovolani earlier in the episode.

Rumer Willis’ latest Dancing With The Stars triumph didn’t go unnoticed. Her family, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, and sisters Scout and Tallulah, were all cheering the team on from the stands. The family followed the successful Dancing With The Stars event up with a rare group selfie that saw them all reunited together, even if it was for a brief moment.

It seems Rumer Willis has found a hidden talent, becoming an unstoppable force, along with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, throughout her Dancing With The Stars performances, as her rising scores can attest.

Things get hot at Coachella, but for Chris Brown things were a little tepid at best. The “Loyal” singer may have put on a good show that pleased the crowd, but behind-the-scenes he was dealing with his separation from estranged girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The International Business Times reports that the two ran into one another during a party at the popular music festival, but Kae was serving up nothing but could shoulder for her ex.

When Karrueche publicly dumped her troubled boyfriend on Twitter, she must have meant it. Not even the charm of Coachella could bring her back into Brown’s arms, which was noticed by pretty much every media source covering the event. It’s big news now that Kae completely blew off the singer, especially since their history has always shown her going right back to him and time again.

The Sun Daily reports that Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown did in fact notice one another, but it was an awkward event that was noticeable to pretty much everyone. A source who reportedly witnessed it spoke to the media.

“It was a very awkward situation. Karrueche wouldn’t even look at Chris at the party. She was dancing with her pal Christina Milian, only yards away from him, showing exactly what he was missing out on. Karrueche looked really great, and she knew she would push Chris’ buttons by doing this. It was almost like she was dancing for him, but not even acknowledging he was there.”

Karrueche was supposedly “parading herself around” on the dance floor, while Brown sat at a table in plain view at the same party. He reportedly glanced at her at least once, and was fuming in silence as she completely blew him off. Apparently he wasn’t very happy that she’d decided to not even say hello to him, but what does he expect?

Karrueche dumped Chris on Twitter after she found out that he’d been keeping his paternity to a 10-month-old infant secret from her. She found out about his secret daughter, named Royalty, the same way everybody else did. She learned through the media. Chris Brown has reportedly bombarded her with phone calls ever since their high profile breakup, but she continues to ignore him as she puts on a brave public front as a newly single woman.

Phaedra Parks has some strong feelings about the confrontation that happened between NeNe Leakes and Claudia Jordan at her Save Our Sons Event, which was shown on Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Phaedra’s latest blog post, posted on Tuesday, made clear that she places the blame on the confrontation on Claudia, not NeNe.

Phaedra believes that Claudia is the one to blame.

“NeNe came all the way from New York just to support my event, and that was really above-and-beyond anything I would expect anyone to do, so I was very appreciative. After the incident occurred I was thinking two things: one, how inappropriate it was for Claudia to initiate that conversation at my event and two, how respectful NeNe was in not wanting to engage in such nonsense at the event by removing herself in order to prevent an unpleasant experience.”

At Phaedra’s event, NeNe and Claudia, as well as Cynthia and Porsha, were working in the kitchen to help serve the food. As they were serving the food, Claudia brought up to NeNe the video that she and the others made for her at Dr. Jeff’s group therapy session, which she had walked out of. NeNe replied that she thought the video was very phony and that she doesn’t like to be treated as the “captain of the ship done wrong” when everyone’s hands have been dirty.

Claudia, backed by Cynthia, disagreed and argued with NeNe. When NeNe started walking away, Claudia chided her for always walking away, to which NeNe replied that Claudia is not a friend and not important to her. Upon arriving at the event, Kenya Moore pulled Claudia back from the confrontation. The exchange was so heated that the event attendees in the conference room could even hear their voices.

After the scene aired, Claudia responded to a viewer who crticized her for what happened.

“Having a calm polite conversation with someone is disrespectful and inappropriate. Ok lady.. have a good day. #ItsATVShowDUH.”

It’s not surprising that Phaedra Parks would fault Claudia Jordan and NeNe Leakes for the heated exchange at her motivational event for African American young men. While Phaedra and Claudia have not had any direct drama so far on this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Claudia has had plenty of drama with Phaedra’s friends and allies, NeNe and Porsha Williams. During the women’s trip to the Phillippines, during a one-on-one breakfast, Claudia tried to get Phaedra to open up about her divorce, only for Phaedra to curtly reply that she’s not going to talk about that with her.

In contrast, Phaedra has made clear how much NeNe has been there for her throughout her drama with Apollo Nida. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, during Phaedra’s recent appearance on the Steve Harvey Show, Phaedra Parks said that both NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams, but especially NeNe, have been the only housewives to be supportive of her during her difficult time.

“And so NeNe, you know, she has been the person who has called me every day, sent me texts just to make sure I was OK and just really been very supportive. You know, we’re not the best of friends, but she has been a wonderful friend throughout this ordeal.”

Many people imagine what they would look like after dropping a few pounds. Now, people can truly visualize a slimmer version of themselves because of a new app called Visualize You, according to KIRO-TV.

The new smartphone app processes what a user would look at a goal weight by utilizing 3-D model technology. The photo can be saved and downloaded to social media if desired–or just saved as incentive to hit the gym an extra day.

According to the website for Visualize You, the photo can be saved and shared as “a means to inspire weight loss and an overall healthy lifestyle.” The website for Visualize You states the following about the unique program.

“The Visualize You app is the only application of its kind. Using a 3D model engine and weight change algorithms developed and confirmed by weight change experts. The application generates a realistic depiction of you at your goal weight. Save, share, and print your target weight photo.”

Developed by Visual Health Solutions, in collaboration with the Wellness Institute at Cleveland Clinic, the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center and UnitedHealthcare, the app is used to see how one would look at a target weight. The app is supposed to give a realistic image, more so than other photo-shopping tools. The CEO of Visual Health Solutions, Paul Baker, stated the following, according to People.

“People are looking for an effective way to motivate themselves and their friends to embark on a formal healthy weight program.”

A weight-loss expert, Charlie Seltzer, M.D., approves of the app, stating the following regarding people having a realistic view of how they’ll look as they lose weight.

“I will often recommend that people put up pictures of what they want to look like or what they used to look like, provided the body image is healthy. I’d hate for someone to put [a photo] in and see themselves not the way they are going to look, and get discouraged and disgruntled that they’re not changing how they’re supposed to. But my first thought upon hearing about this app, was, ‘It sounds like a really good idea.'”

Having been on Game of Thrones for the past five years, 19-year-old actress Sophie Turner has found herself to be very busy these days. Not only is Turner in the fifth season of the hit HBO series, which premiered this past Sunday, but she is currently in production on numerous films including X-Men: Apocalypse.

However, there is one thing that Sophie Turner feels she may have missed experiencing in her younger years, and that was the dating scene. But when she recently spoke to the Telegraph, Turner said it isn’t really something in which she has had much interest.

“I was never that fussed about it. I’ve always been more dedicated to my work than boys.”

Sophie Turner has had at least one publicly known dating experience that didn’t go so well. Last year, Turner and Vamps guitarist James McVey became an item. But the relationship didn’t last that long, and Turner and McVey had a rather awkward breakup on Twitter.

There was also a rumor last year that Turner and actor Benedict Cumberbatch were engaged. But as the Inquisitr pointed out, it was actually Sophie Hunter to whom Cumberbatch got engaged, not Turner.

Another thing that Sophie Turner mentioned she may have missed in her younger years was having a wild side. But seeing as she is still young, Turner noted that it will probably come later in life.

“I haven’t had the chance to be rebellious. I did start going out a bit when I was 18, but it lasted for about a month. I’ve probably got that all to come. I’ll probably turn into Lindsay Lohan.”

Game of Thrones is a series known for having graphic violence and explicit sex scenes. When she was younger, Turner mentioned how the sex scenes may have made her parents feel a little uncomfortable at first, but they have gotten “used to it” over the years.

“They knew it was a good, quality show. If it hadn’t been, I don’t think they would have been happy. But they appreciated that it was all necessary.”

Turner added that being on Game of Thrones has taught her what she needs to know about sex. But her mother did attempt to talk to her about the subject when she was 16.

“I said, ‘This isn’t necessary, I know everything.’ I know every single thing that a person can do – and more. The show is very inventive.”

Sophie Turner began acting since she was three years old. And while she may continue to act for a long time, Turner did tell Entertainment Weekly that she does have a desire for a normal job.

“Acting is so unpredictable, except when working on [Game ofThrones]. I want to keep acting for the rest of my life, but maybe with a random Starbucks job thrown in.”

NBA playoff schedule revelations have finally been made. The 2015 NBA Playoffs are set to begin on Saturday (April 18), and there are quite a few intriguing storylines for basketball fans to follow. The stories begin with the New Orleans Pelicans and Brooklyn Nets sneaking into the NBA Playoffs on the final day of the regular season. The Pelicans won a very tough game against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday (April 15) to clinch the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. Anthony Davis played almost every minute of the game, refusing to let his team miss the postseason.

The 2015 NBA playoff schedule for the West begins with the Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans on April 18. Start time for Game 1 is 12:30 p.m. PT on ABC. The other series from the West that begins that day is the No. 2 Houston Rockets vs. No. 7 Dallas Mavericks. Game 1 is at 6:30 p.m. PT on ESPN. The other two match-ups begin on Sunday (April 19) and they are the No. 3 Los Angeles Clippers vs. No. 6 San Antonio Spurs and the No. 4 Portland Trail Blazers vs. No. 5 Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies host Game 1 of that series at 5 p.m. PT on TNT and the Clippers host the second game at 7:30 p.m. PT.

In the NBA playoff schedule for the Eastern Conference, the two Saturday Game 1 match-ups are the No. 3 Chicago Bulls vs. No. 6 Milwaukee Bucks, and the No. 4 Toronto Raptors vs. No. 5 Washington Wizards. The Raptors host Game 1 of their series at 12:30 p.m. ET, and then the Bulls host Game 1 of their series at 7 p.m. ET. Both games will be shown live on ESPN.

The other two Eastern Conference Game 1 match-ups take place on Sunday and are the No. 1 Atlanta Hawks vs. No. 8 Brooklyn Nets and the No. 2 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. No. 7 Boston Celtics. LeBron James and the Cavaliers host the Celtics at 3 p.m. ET with ABC providing the television coverage. TNT covers the later game at 5:30 p.m. ET when the top-seeded Hawks host the Nets. The Nets got to this point by beating the Orlando Magic to close out the regular season.

Insidehoops.com reveals that no teams will play on back-to-back days in the first-round of the 2015 NBA Playoffs. In fact, the NBA playoff schedule provides several days off for each team. After playing Game 1, most teams will get two full days off before Game 2 takes place. An example is that the Atlanta Hawks and Brooklyn Nets play on Sunday (April 19) and then have a break until Wednesday (April 22). Then Game 3 of that series doesn’t take place till Saturday (April 25). That’s a lot of rest between games for the Hawks and Nets.

The Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks clinched home court advantage through the 2015 NBA Playoffs. Should the teams meet in the NBA Finals, the Warriors would get to host the first two games. That is quite a few games down the road, though, and it is extremely rare for the top seeds from each conference to meet for the championship. As reported previously on the Inquisitr, the No. 1 seed from the East was the Indiana Pacers in 2014, but the team couldn’t get past the Miami Heat on the way to the finals. A huge coincidence is that neither team made the 2015 playoffs.

The way the 2015 NBA playoff schedule is set up will benefit a team like the Portland Trail Blazers. They enter the postseason pretty banged up, so any off days in the schedule will give key players a chance to rest and recuperate. It could also help to get Arron Afflalo back quicker from his strained right shoulder. The days off will also help an older team like the San Antonio Spurs, as they can play all-out, and know that the next day is a chance to rest.

If the final day of the regular season is any indication of what is to come, as the New Orleans Pelicans and Brooklyn Nets snuck into the playoffs, then this postseason is going to be an exciting one. It could even lead to a reevaluation of how the seeding is done as within the 2015 NBA playoff schedule, the No. 5 seed in the West will host the No. 4 seed for the first two games. Despite that, the action is ready to get started on April 18.

New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady isn’t usually one to voluntarily warm the bench. But when Gisele Bundchen, Brady’s wife of six years and mother of their two children, hit the catwalk at São Paulo Fashion Week an April 15, Brady gladly assumed the world of spectator along with legions of Bundchen’s peers and admirers. It’s a fitting role for Brady in some respects, though. After all, according to The Washington Post, Brady is known in Brazil not as the driving force of a Super Bowl dynasty but merely as “Gisele Bundchen’s husband.”

As previously reported by Inquisitr, the 34 year-old supermodel recently stunned the fashion industry with her announcement that she decided to end her illustrious 20-year career. Daily Mail reports that Gisele walked her final series of turns sporting a selection of “summery ensembles” by Brazilian fashion company Colcci. Video of her final walk was posted online by Daily Mail and other news outlets.

Reflecting on her two decades as a model, Bundchen posted a photo of herself from her earliest days in the business via Twitter and Instagram. Only 14 years old when she launched her career, Gisele noted that she’ll continue to work in the fashion industry despite the fact that the catwalk is now behind her.

Although she’s intent on staying relevant in the world of high fashion and glamour — she is, after all, the new face of Chanel No. 5— Gisele easily has the scratch to lay low and enjoy the good life for a while. Quoting a report by Forbes, The Washington Post noted that Bundchen has earned $386 million since 2001. Expounding on the Forbes report, OK! Magazine indicated the model fetched $47 million alone in 2014. She also owns a shoe company called Ipanema that reportedly sells over 25 million pairs of sandals annually.

She has already led a life that most folks could only dare to dream about, but it’s a safe bet that the world will see much more of Gisele. Having lived her entire adult life in the public eye, Bundchen seems comfortable in almost any setting, from the posh red carpets of Tinseltown to the sweaty and steamy sidelines of an NFL game. Indeed, as a fashion expert, entrepreneur, wife, and mother, Gisele Bundchen has quite a bit to offer a world that’s just not quite ready to bid her farewell.

The Four Corners is the only place in the United States where the corners of four states meet to form a perfect intersection. Though the site is well-known for its unusual ability to allow a person to stand in four states at once, it is also home to a mysterious thermal hot spot that scientists discovered while looking at satellite data. So what caused the mysterious thermal hot spot the size of Connecticut?

Pioneer News points out that the thermal hot spot was discovered just east of the well-known Four Corners area. The spot was approximately 2,500 square miles wide, making it about the size of Connecticut. When looking at the data, scientists were unable to determine what would cause the mysterious hot spot to occur in that specific location. However, researchers think they may now have a good idea as to the root cause of the thermal imaging in the area.

It is believed that the hot spot is actually the result of a leak in a natural gas operation.

“They conclude that the hotspot is a collection of very potent greenhouse gas (like methane) and suspect that, perhaps, it is leaking from a natural gas operation somewhere within the San Juan Basin. This is the most productive coalbed methane site in the whole country; so that theory certainly holds water.”

In the Weather Channel video above, scientists explain why methane is the likely cause of the hot spot and what can be done about it now. It is noted that with a natural gas operation the likely culprit in creating the thermal pocket, a solution is likely just a matter of determining which coalbed is to blame for the leak.

Four Corners Thermal Mystery: Scientists Say They May Finally Know The Cause is an article from: The Inquisitr News

In a freaky scene one wouldn’t believe unless it was recorded on video, flying carp attacked a rowing team in Creve Coeur Lake outside of St. Louis, Missouri. A men’s rowing team from Washington University was making their way down the lake when out of nowhere a school of carp flung themselves out of the water as the rowers went by.

People reports that the fish are an Asian carp species and was introduced into fish farm ponds in the 1970s and eventually invaded American lakes. In fact, many are taking over the Great Lakes. This species of carp is considered invasive and clearly doesn’t take kindly to their territory being disturbed.

Although the carp were surrounding the small boat of rowers and flying out at them, the fish didn’t actually injure anyone. No one was seen in the footage ducking from the fish or scared, but they were caught off guard by the sudden drama.

According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, “Silver carp can jump at least 10 feet out of the water and that behavior has resulted in injuries to boaters. Collisions between boaters and jumping silver carp have the potential to cause human fatalities.”

When the flying carp attacked the rowing team, they weren’t successful in killing anyone — or even hurting them for that matter. It’s not something one sees very often — attacking fish that fly at humans in boats.

There are various species of carps besides the Silver carp. The USFWS names the Black carp, Bighead carp, and Grass carp.

Following the flying carp attack of rowers in Missouri, it’s interesting that this tidbit is posted on the website, too: “As large populations of Asian carp become established, cumulative effects of those species include risk to human safety, reductions of native plants that provide spawning and nursery areas for fishes, reduced food for native fishes and waterfowl, and reductions in dollars for regional economies that rely on fishing, boating, and waterfowl hunting.”

In other words, the Asian carp has no benefit inhabiting American lakes. This species is most problematic in the Great Lakes and Mississippi Basin panels. As the USFWS reveals, it leads the development of the National Management and Control Plan for Asian carp. “The Plan will be the blueprint for interagency activities to prevent, manage, and control Asian carp,” the site says.

Asian carp are a threat and wildlife experts are more than aware of this, as efforts are put in place to get some kind of handle on the fish population.

When news hits that flying carp attack a rowing team, it gets the average person’s attention as to how serious a threat the species is.

A newly wed New Jersey high school teacher, 32-year-old Nicole McDonough, was indicted on charges that included having sex with student and “improper relations” with two others. However, the teacher is entering a diversion program in hopes of avoiding jail time for her indiscretions.

The Daily Mail reports that McDonough, who also goes by Nicole Howell, was arrested in December after she was charged with having sex with an 18-year-old male student and improper relations with two other 18-year-old male students. The teacher allegedly had relations with one of the teens between April and June of 2013 and relations with the two other students between April and June of 2014.

According to the Daily Record, McDonough engaged in sexual relations with one of the students and improper relations with the other two. The “improper relations” included “fraternization” and “improper communication” between the teacher and her students. McDonough was an English teacher at West Morris Mendham when the incidents occurred. McDonough held a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Elizabeth in Florham Park where she majored in English literature and minored in secondary education.

Following the teacher’s arrest, the West Morris school placed her on administrative leave while the investigation was completed. Since all three students were of the age of consent, the teacher was charged with official misconduct since she was working as a public servant at the time of her alleged actions. This means that since she was employed by the state to work in a specific capacity, she may be found guilty of official misconduct for obtained benefit to herself by performing unauthorized functions of her employment.

“A person is guilty of official misconduct if he or she, as a public servant, acts with purpose to obtain a benefit for herself or another and commits an act relating to her office but constituting an unauthorized exercise of his official functions.”

In an attempt to avoid jail time for her behavior, McDonough applied for Morris County’s Pre-Trial Intervention (PTI) program. This programs allows first-time, non-violent offenders with alternatives to traditional prosecution by completing a specified program along with a probationary period. The probation can last anywhere from one to three years and is only offered if specific conditions are met by the defendant.

The Mail notes that “if McDonough is allowed to enter the PTI, she may have to undergo random urine testing, pay restitution, and submit to psychological, drug and alcohol evaluations.”

Harley Jo Skorpenske has lupus. It can’t be seen by the casual observer. But she has a real illness that requires her to need a handicap parking placard. When she returned to her car in a CVS parking lot, she found a nasty note on her windshield, saying that she should be ashamed for using a handicap placard. The note stated the following, according to Yahoo Health.

“You should be ashamed! When you take a handicap spot an actual disabled person suffers. You were not raised as you should have been.”

That’s when the gloves came off and her story became known, going viral with over 190,000 shares on Facebook. Her mother, Corinna Skorpenske, wrote an open response on Facebook to the note writer, essentially saying not to judge a book by its cover. Many people, such as Harley Jo, have hidden illnesses or disabilities such as lupus, depression, Crohn’s Disease, and fibromyalgia. Her mother’s note said the following, in part, as stated on Facebook.

“To The Person Who left This on My Daughter[‘]s Car,

Wishing so much for you to have stopped and talked to this amazing person before leaving this. If you had, you would have known that my daughter has a disease.
Since she was 16 years old, she has been suffering from LUPUS. Basically, her immune system thinks her body inside and out is something bad and attacks it.
It started with her joints swelling and the pain being so bad she could hardly walk. But she continued going to school and keeping up with her community service….
Her Senior year, she suffered debilitating muscle pain which made it difficult to get out of bed. But she continued studying, got some scholarships for college, dressed in her cheerleader uniform (which she could no longer do) to cheer on her classmates….
I may not be a perfect parent, but I know I did good with her!
Many people suffer with these “GHOST” diseases, which you can’t see but are just as bad as a physical disability. People die of depression, but we can’t see that.
It is my wish to find you. Not to tell you how wrong you were in leaving that note and how you might have turned my daughter’s day bad. But to give you the opportunity to meet My Girl. I think you would love her.
Please Don’t Judge A Book By It’s [sic] Cover! Everyone please Share this to find this person. But also to raise awareness about GHOST Diseases!”

Corinna continued in the note describing the many other challenges her daughter faced as a result of lupus, such as joint pain, hair loss, rashes, hearing loss, a collapsed lung multiple times, and sickness as a result of a reaction to a drug she needs to take, to name a few. She told Yahoo Health the following about her reaction to the note the anonymous stranger left on Harley’s car.

“My first reaction was anger. On top of everything she deals with she didn’t need this. Harley is very strong, and many times she just lets it go. But because she is human I know she feels something. Harley is very passionate about disabilities of all kind and I knew I needed to do this for her….People with ghost illnesses are often labeled as lazy or fakes. We never know what burdens people struggle with. Often we are so quick to judge or make assumptions, but if we just take the time to ask them, they are often very willing to educate them on it. Their pain and discomfort is real.”

As horrible as it sounds, this isn’t even the first nasty note that Harley has found on her car regarding her use of a handicap placard. It’s the third note, she revealed, according to WBNS Channel 10, Columbus, Ohio. Harley has no bad feelings for the people who leave the notes on her car, believing that they are advocating for people with visible disabilities. But she wants people to see the broader picture: that there are people with invisible disabilities who also are in need. Harley stated the following, according to WBNS.

“What I want is for people to see this post and readjust their idea of what a disability is. On one end, you can say she’s attacking a person with an invisible illness, but on the other end, you can say she was advocating for people with visible disabilities who need these spots.”

Harley is now focusing her energy on medical school, hoping one day to care for children with lupus — to show them that their dreams can come true and that they can accomplish what they aim to do.

A similar event happened to Natasha Hope-Simpson, who normally parks in a handicapped space in Nova Scotia where she works. She parks there legally, as she is missing her left leg below her knee. But one day someone left a similar nasty note on her car threatening to contact the police with a video, and stating that she is not handicapped because she can walk, according to an article in the Inquisitr.

The Kate Middleton baby watch is nearing its end as Duchess Kate reaches her estimated due date and prepares for the arrival of Baby No. 2, and it appears that she has dropped some hints as to the gender of her baby.

While the royal family never officially announced a due date for Kate, it’s widely believed that she is due in the latter half of the month of April. Judging by the amount of preparations taking place already in Britain for the baby to arrive, it appears that Duchess Kate’s due date could be at any time.

This week there has been a ton of preparation for the new royal baby, with Kate and Prince William getting ready for the arrival and their hospital clearing the way. This week St. Mary’s Hospital in London put up no parking signs outside the Lindo Wing, where Kate will be delivering the baby. The restrictions last from April 15 to April 30, confirming that Kate’s due date may be coming at any time.

But, in all the preparations, it appears that Kate Middleton may have dropped a big hint about the baby’s gender. Hollywood Life reported:

One thing being prepped is the baby’s room. The duke and duchess have stated they are unaware of the child’s gender, just like with Prince George, but huge speculation has come about after Kate reportedly bought pink paint. Oxford inteshwell as her prep, Kate was spotted looking through the little girl’s section of the children’s boutique Amaia, according to People. The store’s co-owner Segolene Tresca said, “She was looking at all the girls’ clothing. She was very interested.”

While Kate Middleton hasn’t given anything about either about the baby’s gender or due date, friends say she is more than ready for the little one to come. A source close to Duchess Kate told Us Weekly that she is fully feeling the effects of the third trimester.

“Kate’s starting to feel really pregnant,” the source said. “She’s been joking about never passing up an opportunities to use the loo!”

But those looking to Kate Middleton for hints about the due date or gender may be reading too much into it. Sources close to Kate and William say that neither of them know the sex of their baby, and won’t find out until the royal baby makes his or her arrival sometime later this month.

April 15 was a tax day record for the federal government. The Feds set a record for the amount of inflation-adjusted tax revenue for the first half of the fiscal year. The fiscal began in October 2014. In that time, tax revenue has increased to $1,477,901,000 according to the Daily Treasury Statement. The tax revenue was up over 4 percent from last year or $61 billion. Under normal circumstances, this would be a cause for celebration. Well, only the federal government would be celebrating. In fact, $1.2 billion came from payments withheld from paychecks so I guess we all have ourselves to thank for the tax day record.

Despite the fact that tax revenue is at an all time high, the numbers still do not look good when compared to spending. In the same period spending exceeded tax revenue by $439.5 billion. According to NewsMax Finance, the deficit increased 6.3 percent compared to the same period last year. Mike Englund, chief economist from Action Economics LLC, had grim words when talking about the state of the current economy.

We’re stuck with a level of deficit that’s not sustainable in the longer term.

What does the long term look like, you ask? The Congressional Budget Office determined at this rate the deficit could hit a $1 trillion by 2020. It gets worse there according to the Brookings Instituion analysis.

In fact, CBO estimates that the debt will be well over 100 percent of GDP by 2039 under conservative assumptions about spending and revenue.

With that said, the lawmakers in Washington do not seem too worried about the deficit. What is usually a hot button topic in a time when candidates are announcing their intentions to run for office has all but vanished. Why the change? Both the White House and Congress have policy changes on the table that will require further spending according to Stan Collender of Forbes.

Virtually every policy change that has already or soon will be considered seriously in the House and Senate will make the deficit higher rather than lower.

Collender is not far off on his comments. Today, the Senate overwhelmingly voted through the “doc fix” bill that reduces reimbursements from Medicare to doctors. This one bill alone will add $141 billion to the deficit over the next 10 years according to Peter Grier of the Christian Science Monitor.

All of this can seem even more irritating to a tax payer on tax day. Most likely, few people in the country would get the same leniency if their tax returns showed even a fraction of the deficit the government’s does.

Tax Day Record! Federal Government Brings In Almost $1.5 Trillion, But It Still Isn’t Enough is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Kelsey Grammer was born to survive.

According to Vanity Fair, Grammer, who recently turned 60, announced “It feels better than 40 did!” Grammer has been married to Britain’s Kayte Walsh for four years now, and the couple, along with their two children, live happily in Los Angeles, New York City and Holmby Hills. Grammer has six children in all.

Grammer has also returned to Broadway, to the play Finding Neverland. The original story, by Allen Knee, revolves around Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie a the family that inspired Barrie to write the story. Grammer plays Charles Frohman, the man who originally produced the play back in 1904. The play also marks the theater directorial debut of movie producer Harvey Weinstein. The play opened Wednesday, April 15 at the Lunt-Fontanne theater.

Rehearsal for Grammer, though, is quite boring. “I like audiences and performing and, you know … applause!” It’s a gift Grammer so richly deserves, when you look back at his life. At the height of Grammer’s popularity, when playing the venerable Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers, then later on Frasier, Grammer was addicted to alcohol and cocaine, to the point where it almost took his life. As he looks back on it, Grammer admits, “I’ll speak to the straight of it, that was the time when I could not forgive myself for my sister’s death.”

ABC news reports that there were other deaths, like Grammer’s estranged father being shot to death by a psychopath, and two half-brothers dying in a scuba diving accident. The most painful of all, however, was Grammer’s sister, Karen, who was kidnapped, raped, and murdered by spree killer Freddie Glenn, along with two accomplices, in Colorado in 1975. Grammer had to identify his sister, then tell his mother.

“I miss her in my bones,” Grammer wrote to the parole board. “I was her big brother. I was supposed to protect her — I could not…. It very nearly destroyed me,” Grammer wrote to the Colorado parole board back in 2009 when Glenn became available for parole. Grammer also added that, though Glenn may feel remorse for what he had done, he should not be allowed to be released.

“I believe the gift of life and freedom he took from my sister precludes him from ever being allowed to enjoy that gift for himself,” Grammer explained. “He took her future from her with no regard for her whatsoever. He assumed he had a right to do so. He assumed she was his property, and that the precious gift God gave her was his to take.”

Glenn was denied parole.

Grammer puts it all into perspective now. “That every one of us is going to experience some terrible loss. I just got a big dose. For every story you hear that’s tragic, there’s another that’s equally tragic or more so. I think you come to look at it as part of life.”

Not all of the Kardashians are on board with Bruce Jenner’s rumored gender transition, according to a new report from Us. Just over a week before Jenner’s much-hyped sit down with Diane Sawyer is broadcast, the magazine reports that only Khloe Kardashian was supporting Bruce. Bruce believes the remaining Kardashian women are expressing approval just for the publicity.

Two of Bruce’s sons, Brandon and Brody, do support him. Brandon Jenner reportedly even participated in the Diane Swayer interview. Brody and Brandon are Jenner’s sons from his marriage to Linda Thompson.

Brandon Jenner is married to Leah Jenner, and the couple also perform music together. The couple announced only a few weeks ago that they are expecting their first child. They married in 2012.

Brandon and Leah have in the past made frequent appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Brandon has been open about his good relationship with his father. Only a few months ago he posted a picture with Bruce on Instagram as father and son were enjoying a helicopter ride.

Leah is the daughter of Eagles member Don Felder, who wrote their classic song “Hotel California” with Don Henley and Glenn Frey.

Back in January, Kim Kardashian told Entertainment Tonight that she and her family support Bruce, while still refusing to confirm he is in the midst of a gender transition. Kim also discussed an Instagram picture that showed Bruce surrounded by his three stepdaughters and daughters with Kris Jenner, Kendall and Kylie.

“Well we support Bruce no matter what, so we were just at his house hanging out and we wanted to take a picture, that was not like a secret message like, ‘We support Bruce.’ Of course we support Bruce 100 percent.

“He’s our dad so we support him no matter what, and I think when the time is right, he’ll talk about whatever he wants to talk about. I just think it’s his story to talk about, not really mine.”

Bruce Jenner’s story has elicited praise and support from Hollywood notables such as Oscar winner Patricia Arquette and “Transparent” star Jeffrey Tambor. Some transgender advocates, however, have expressed fear that the publicity surrounding Jenner’s story may work against further acceptance for members of the transgender community.

A report that Kendall Jenner had spoken with Us and said she supports Bruce regardless of gender was retracted after Kendall Jenner denied speaking with anyone from the magazine.

Diane Sawyer’s interview with Bruce Jenner airs April 24th at 9 p.m. and will be two hours in length.
