Last night’s Game of Thrones Season 5 episode leak online had fans elated and flocking to the internet looking for copies.

What they found was the first four episodes of the Game of Thrones Season 5 on a variety of BitTorrent websites, including the Pirate Bay, according to Venture Beat.

Unfortunately for Pirate Bay fans, the site has since been knocked offline, according to Venture Beat. Some fans speculate that the Game of Thrones leak is the reason.

According to Torrent Freak, the four episodes of Game of Thrones Season 5 that made their way to torrent sites likely originated from “review copies sent to the press.”

No matter where they came from, that the Game of Thrones episodes were leaked at all to torrent sites likely means that the already most pirated series in history, according to Torrent Freak, will bring a huge increase in traffic to the torrent sites.

According to Forbes, the Game of Thrones Season episode leak already saw over 800,000 downloads as of 1 p.m. EST.

This is where the problem lies for Pirate Bay, as the site was knocked offline yesterday.

The question is whether yesterday’s Game of Thrones episode leak online caused the Pirate Bay to go offline. It is quite possible, and what is worse is that Pirate Bay’s CloudFlare service is not working, either.

CloudFlare is the website caching service Pirate Bay uses to keep visitors on their site even when it experiences downtime.

According to the CloudFlare FAQs provided on the Pirate Bay website, “error 522″ is causing the outage, which means something is hogging server resources.

Error 522 makes it impossible to tell if the site is experiencing a DDoS attack, or if it is simply overwhelmed with traffic from legitimate users downloading torrents. Either way, a 522 error is better than getting a 403 (forbidden) or 404 (page not found) error any day.

Pirate Bay Website Offline – CloudFlare Not Working.

A Reddit user found the Game of Thrones leak while visiting the series’ subreddit, according to Torrent Freak. That night, all four leaked episodes had been posted to a private BitTorrent tracker called IPT.

Someone – presumably the person who leaked it to the private tracker – then made the Game of Thrones episodes available for download via a number of public BitTorrent sites such as the Pirate Bay, KickA** Torrents, and RARBG, according to Gizmodo.

One of only a few legitimate torrent sites hosting the Game of Thrones leaked episodes online, the Pirate Bay only just resurfaced two weeks ago after two months — the longest outage it ever experienced.

Officials raided the Pirate Bay’s servers in Sweden in December, and the torrent site went offline until two weeks ago, when it came back under a new domain name.

The unrelenting volume of tweets from people pledging to download the episodes illegally may have a had a hand in the site going offline, though Venture Beat doesn’t think so.

However, that CloudFlare isn’t working means it is just as likely that something else knocked the popular Pirate Bay offline yesterday – the website and staff’s legal issues, for instance.

That Game of Thrones, the single most pirated show in the history of BitTorrent, shows up on torrent sites like Pirate Bay just hours before Pirate Bay got knocked offline again is a huge coincidence.

Unfortunately, until Pirate Bay comes back online, Game of Thrones fans can only speculate as to why they have to get the episodes leaked online elsewhere.

The Megacon 2015 photos are coming streaming in now that central Florida’s largest convention for cosplayers has come to an end, but how did this year’s Megacon convention compare against 2014?

In a related report by the Inquisitr, on the east coast of Florida, there is a small but growing convention called Space Coast Nerd Fest. Attendees were impressed by their first convention, and now it’s set to be a bigger convention on May 23 and 24 at the Melbourne Auditorium.

Without further ado, here are the Megacon 2015 photos taken by Inquisitr writers when they visited the con over the weekend.

After Megacon 2014, many attendees were complaining about some of the changes made, including moving from the West Concourse to the South Concourse. In past years, the ticket lines were handled in the hallways, but in 2014 they were shifted into the main area. There was also a huge open space in the main convention area, which seemed a waste. The Megacon organizers must have been listening, because those changes were reversed for Megacon 2015, which is a good thing since this is how the conditions in 2014 were, quoted below.

“To give you an idea, there were many times I was trying to find room to take photographs but everyone was so shoulder-to-shoulder I was forced to do closeups. There were times I spotted cosplayers I wanted to photograph but they were too far to catch up to in the crowd … and by far away I mean about seven feet. The only humorous part to this story is when I was rubbing shoulders with a Gandalf character who was trying to work his way through the crowd. I could not move out of the way when he said, ‘excuse me,’ so instead I cried out, ‘You shall not pass!’ That got a chuckle out of Gandalf.”

Conditions were much improved for Megacon 2015. Although attendees said Saturday felt like it was even more packed than last year’s Saturday, the new organization helped keep lane traffic from coming to a complete crawl. On Sunday, the traffic was controlled to the point that even a baby stroller decked out like a batmobile was able to push through without any major issues.

Last year, we noted that “nude art that didn’t have stickers covering up the naughty bits like in prior years.” Megacon 2015 seemed much more family-friendly this time around, although the addition of an adult-oriented furries erotica booth probably had many parents redirecting their kids elsewhere. There was one booth that had explicit artwork, but they kept it all inside a concealed area that had to be entered through a door.

Simon Cowell has his son Eric, but adoption may be in the cards for his family. Cowell revealed in a new interview that he and his partner, Lauren Silverman, are considering an addition to their family, and they might go the adoption route for a child.

According to Hello Magazine, Cowell spoke with the U.K.’s Daily Star about the plans he and his partner are discussing.

“Myself and Lauren want to have more children of our own but we could adopt as well. I wouldn’t rule out it happening. It’s a good idea. I’m beginning to warm to the idea of adopting.”

Eric turned one in February, and Simon is very much the doting dad. He talks about the little boy often on his social media accounts, and he shares about the little boy in interviews.

When he spoke to the Daily Star, he shared some about Eric’s behavior and how he tries to handle it. He admitted that he has a lot to learn when it comes to disciplining his son.

“I’m aware Eric could become a brat. I’m going to make sure we teach him manners and to not talk down to people. I’m terrible at discipline but that’s all basic stuff. And the first thing I said to Lauren is we’ll teach him to always be kind to animals.”

Cowell has two dogs as well, and he shared an amusing anecdote about his son and the dogs in the house. According to Closer, the little boy has been around the family dogs so much that he now thinks he is a dog, too.

“He’s walking now — and he walks like the Duracell Bunny. Part of him also thinks he’s still a dog, because he’s grown up around the dogs.”

Simon Cowell is known for being difficult. He doesn’t hold anything back when he shares his opinion, but it does appear that another side of him comes out when his son is involved. Cowell revealed that he and his little boy do have alone time together to bond at night.

“‘Because I work late, Eric knows that if he cries in the middle of the night, the chances are I’ll be awake. He’s worked out I’ll go to him. It’s lovely, actually. In the past every time I saw babies they were crying, but when you spend a bit more time with them you see them settling down, their little characters developing. They start to take on a bit of your personality.”

In fact, Cowell has already called his son Eric a “mini-me.” On more than one occasion, Cowell has shared photos of himself and his little boy showing off how the little boy looks like him.

Not everyone is a fan of Eric, though. The little boy traveled with his dad to Miami last month, and a passenger was not too happy about that. According to People Magazine, Cowell went to his Twitter about the incident. However, Eric was not causing trouble. Cowell had no problem calling out the passenger on social media.

Cowell is keeping busy. Not only is he still involved with the X Factor U.K., but he is also working with Britain’s Got Talent this year.

The music mogul has also stayed close to One Direction. He is the man that put the group together. According to a recent Inquisitr report, Cowell spoke out after Zayn Malik left the group in March.

“He’s a fantastic singer. Um, look, he’s got to get his head together a little bit … He needs some time on his own, as he said, to be a normal 22-year-old, which he’s gonna have. I’ve always said to all of them, the future’s bright depending on what you want to do … We’ve always hoped that One Direction would stay together for a long time and my hunch is it still will. They’re just too good for everything to stop now.”

She shared her excitement for the collaboration with People.

“FullBeauty is bomb because they promote loving your curves and loving your body and being confident and being comfortable, and that’s all I was trying to say with ‘All About That Bass.’ And so I’m glad to partner up with them. In case some people thought I was bashing skinny people — I’m not; I’m just here because I love myself.”

Since entering the spotlight, she’s learned some tricks for emphasizing what she feels are her best features. She had a few tips to share with her fans.

“Show your best parts. So I show my waist size, because I love it. I show my legs because they’re pretty good. I show the booty — just show what you’re working with.”

Meghan may exude confidence now, but it’s something she had to learn and practice. As a mentor on The Voice, she admitted she almost auditioned for the show before her career took off, but she didn’t have the nerve. Many people were upset when the Beatles — one of the most revered and iconic rock ‘n roll groups of all times — broke up. Apparently, no one was more distressed than musician and drummer, Ringo Starr. He recently admitted that he spent the 1970s and 1980s in a drunken haze because of the group’s dissolution, and that he felt “lost.” He entered rehab with wife Barbara Bach in 1988. Starr said the following, according to the Huffington Post.

“I was drunk. Some of those years are absolutely gone….I was mad. For 20 years. I had breaks in between of not being….It got progressively worse, and the blackouts got worse, and I didn’t know where I’d been, what I’d done. I knew I had the problem for years. But it plays tricks with your head. Very cunning and baffling is alcohol.”

But things have looked up recently for the multi-talented musician. Starr, 74, recently released a new solo album entitled Postcards from Paradise, which has great ratings on Amazon from customers. And on April 18, he will receive a long-overdue honor. He will be the last Beatle inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist, and will receive an Award for Musical Excellence. He was already a member as a member of the Beatles.

Ringo credits Paul McCartney for the upcoming honor. He indicated that McCartney spoke with the powers that be at the Hall of Fame, which led to his becoming a member. Paul McCartney will do the induction honors, and Joe Walsh of the Eagles will perform Starr’s music. Starr stated the following regarding the upcoming event, according to The Celebrity Café.

“They were all surprised that I wasn’t in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame….And [Paul] talked to somebody and they’re going to put me in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and he’s going to give me away like I’m the bride and I will accept….Even though there’s very little record industry left, I like to make records because I write. I write with songwriters; I play with other good musicians. Because it’s what I do.”

Time surely flies. The Beatles’ final concert was August 29, 1966, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Paul and Ringo show that former Beatles continue to get by with a little help from their friends.

An exclusive clip from Pitch Perfect 2 has recently been released, and the film is even bigger than before. This time, Anna Kendrick and her a cappella group, “The Barden Bellas,” were featured doing another Riff Off on a global scale as they face singing groups from all over the world.

The minute-long clip was shown during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards last Sunday at the Los Angeles Nokia Theatre. Old members of The Bellas, namely Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, and Brittany Show were joined by Pitch Perfect 2 newcomer Hailee Steinfeld to present the exclusive teaser of their upcoming film.

The Riff Off is a singing competition which was introduced on the first installment of Pitch Perfect. It is joined by several singing groups who basically out sing each other using songs from a randomly selected category. In the clip, the global Riff Off started off with MC David Cross calling in the contestants for the face off portion. The Bellas and a German singing group went up to the center of the floor and waited for the chosen category.

On a screen, an automated system randomly selects the final category for the night, which is “90s Hip Hop Jamz.” Noise from the crowd erupted as the two competing groups expressed their confidence to take on the chosen category. At the signal of the MC, the German group started the Riff Off with Montell Jordan’s “This is How We Do It.” This was countered by The Bellas, who belted out a Lauryn Hill 90s hit, “That Thing.” The German team cut into the middle of their song and started singing Bell Biv Devoe’s “Poison,” which was quickly responded to by The Bellas with A Tribe Called Quest’s single, “Scenario.”

The Riff Off clip elicited positive feedbacks from online critics. Us Magazine described it as “aca-awesome” and Hit Fix thought that “it sounds d**n good.”

The first Pitch Perfect movie featured Kendrick as a freshman at Barden University. She was depicted as a youngster with a spirited personality and a talent for music as an aspiring DJ. Because of an unlikely duet with a member of The Bellas at the communal shower, Kendrick opted to join the group. With The Barden Bellas, she faced several a cappella groups, including an all-male cast.

Pitch Perfect 2 was directed by Elizabeth Banks and will be released in theaters on May 15.

Khalifa, via his Instagram, states, “Only thing missing is u.” The “u” can be understood to be Amber Rose, recent wife-turned-ex. Though they’ve been back and forth in different allegations, they both seem to hint that they haven’t truly felt those ways. From Khalifa’s Twitter, it looks like he hasn’t been letting others in either.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Rose said the following.

Wiz Khalifa Finally Admits That He Misses Amber Rose, Via Instagram is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Two women in a New York cab exchanged a kiss. But the cab driver was not too pleased with their demonstration of affection, telling them to stop or get out.

Television producer Christina Spitzer and her actress girlfriend, Kassie Thornton, stated that they barely exchanged a peck when their cabbie became enraged, according the New York Post. They said that Mohammed Dahbi shouted the following during their trip from Columbus Circle to Brooklyn’s Sunset Park.

“Keep that for the bedroom or get out of the cab.”

The upset couple exited the cab, confronting him and disputing fare charges, refusing to pay the fare. That’s when things really got nasty, according to official documents, which indicate that the irate Dahbi shouted the following, calling them extremely offensive names, as reported in the New York Post.

“B****es, c**ts, [and] wh**es.”

Upset over their alleged treatment, the women contacted the Commission on Human Rights, which filed a complaint with New York City’s Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, according to Yahoo!.

In Dahbi’s rebuttal, he indicated that the two women almost undressed in his cab on that fateful night, distracting him from driving, and that they made offensive comments regarding his ethnicity.

Dahbi told the Administrative Law Judge that Spitzer and Thornton were doing more than just G-rated kissing, stating that the pair were kissing “heavily,” and “touching all over each other,” including “on the chest and the breast.”

In rebuttal, Spitzer noted that she had some extensive dental work done and had “serious mouth trauma,” and, therefore, the make-out session Dahbi claims could not have occurred. She also stated the following, according to Yahoo!.

“We’re not the type of people who would ever use that type of language or even think that way, or behave in the way that he claims we did.”

The incident occurred in 2011, and the couple just had their day in court in March. Under New York State Law, public and private businesses are prohibited from refusing service based on sexual orientation. The judge recommended a ruling in favor of Spitzer and Thornton and awarded $5,000 in damages to each of the women. The judge also fined the city $5,000 and required Dahbi to take antidiscrimination training. Spitzer said the following, according to Yahoo!.

“The recommendation…for him to undergo some human rights training [is] for us the ultimate reward….This has never been about any money. We just want him to know that he did was wrong.”

Dahbi’s attorney, Ali Najmi, indicated that his client did not discriminate and that he has also told heterosexual couples in his cab to knock it off when their make-out sessions are too much of a distraction. He also noted that his client volunteers at a food pantry that serves gay people. He stated that Dhabi will appeal the ruling, and stated the following, according to the New York Post.

“My client never once mentioned anything about their sexuality and never threw them out of the taxi. In fact, the complaint doesn’t even allege that he said anything about their sexuality, and the two women testified that they are the ones who decided to exit the taxi.”

Because this case was brought in an administrative court, the Human Rights Commission will make the final decision as far as the merits or amount of damages.

In another civil rights case, the Colorado Civil Rights Division decided that a bakery that refused to make cakes with anti-gay messages did not discriminate.

Coachella has always been a star-studded event and where the stars go, so does drama. Kendall Jenner can surely attest to that as she currently faces rumors about having a run-in with Amber Rose at the said music festival.

According to US Magazine’s report, the two allegedly “came close to clashing” with each other at the McDonald’s and Chevrolet Pool Party held at the Bootsy Bellows estate last Saturday.

Rose arrived first at the event with her friends and sat down at a cabana without knowing that it was already reserved for Jenner. A while later, the 19-year-old arrived at the party with best friend Hailey Baldwin and their friends. When Jenner saw Rose occupying her exclusive table, she turned around and said, “No way, this is not happening.”

Jenner then reportedly asked the party’s escort to kick Rose off the table. The escort obliged and politely asked the 31-year-old single mother to leave the reserved cabana. Rose insisted on staying telling the escort, “Well, my drink is here!” However, the escort was persistent with asking her to leave that Rose eventually threw in the towel and walked away. On her way out, Rose was said to have given Jenner some side-eye action.

Reports of the said run-in spread last Sunday and Rose was quick to deny the story. During the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, Rose told E! News that the story wasn’t true. “It’s so annoying. It just never happened,” she said. “The pull stories out of their f–cking asses.”

Rose also added, “Me and my friends had a great time and I’m sure Kendall did too.”

E! News agreed with this statement from Rose pointing out that Jenner was spotted later that night enjoying a performance by Tyler, The Creator. During the rapper’s set, the artist ranted about the VIPs who spent a luxury on seats located near the stage. He particularly singled out Jenner who was among the said VIPs.

“Kendall Jenner here thinking she cute and s–t,” the rapper ranted. “Hey Kendall, Kendall, Kendall – I’m over here to your right – f –ck you.” Jenner was cool about the rapper’s remarks onstage and even shared a fan’s video of it on her Twitter account. She shared the clip and captioned it, “Love.”

Mortal Kombat X Will Run At 1080p/60FPS

While we know that the PC versions of Mortal Kombat X will run at the chosen resolution and likely unlocked framerate of the player, console fans often base their “Microsoft vs Sony” debate on which game can reach this hallowed benchmark. Confirmed pretty early on by Ed Boon, co-creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise, the game will run at full 1080p and 60 frames-per-second on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Running on Unreal Engine 3, a game engine built for last gen, the team seems to have had no issues reaching this target. This is good, as fighting games rely on minute reactions from its player, so for Mortal Kombat X to achieve 60FPS is great for players, especially on the competitive scene. More consistent frames and smoother gameplay will aid Mortal Kombat players no matter what level the competition.

Each Character In MKX will have unique fighting styles

A hard thing to do in a fighting game is make every character feel unique. Street Fighter has achieved this gloriously, and Mortal Kombat in recent years has done a great job of fleshing each kombatant out. Mortal Kombat X does this even more by having each character boast three unique fighting styles. These styles will give Mortal Kombat X players command over a different set of skills and change the way they approach the fight, and how your enemy approaches defending your attacks.

You Can Play Some DLC Characters Without Buying Them

That’s correct. As revealed by the Inquisitr, some game modes will allow you to play the DLC characters such as Jason Voorhees and The Predator without actually purchasing them. The Premiere Towers, also known as “Challenge Towers” will rotate out frequently, so you’ll be pitted against these characters, and Mortal Kombat X will actually allow you to play as them in the Tower. You’ll still have to pay for them to play in the rest of the game, but it’s nice to see that you won’t be locked out of content based on how much money you’ve spent on Mortal Kombat X.

Fans of the Rocky franchise are in for a few surprises as the new spinoff movie, Creed, brings in new characters to continue the popular story of Rocky Balboa.

ABC News reports that even though the movie’s release date isn’t until November 25, Sylvester Stallone is already pumping people up. He recently posted an Instagram photo of himself and co-star Michael B. Jordan, who plays the role of Adonis Creed, the late Apollo Creed’s grandson. Stallone playfully captioned the photo with, “Get ready to go for it!”

Although not a lot of details regarding Creed have surfaced, Screen Rant reports that the movie centers around up-and-coming boxer Adonis Creed, who is trained by none other than Rocky Balboa. Creed, following in his grandfather’s footsteps, wants to become a professional boxer, and Stallone, acting as mentor and trainer, aims to get the young athlete to the top.

Michael B. Jordan, 28, may be a relatively unknown name to some, but he’s been acting for quite some time. He got his start in 1999, in a small role on an episode of HBO’s The Sopranos. From 2003-2006, Jordan played Reggie Montgomery on the soap show All My Children, but he is arguably best-known for his recurring role from 2009-2011 as Vince Howard on the television series Friday Night Lights.

Others starring in the upcoming Creed include The Cosby Show’s Phylicia Rashād, as well as Tessa Thompson, Tony Bellew, and Graham McTavish.

The film takes place in Balboa’s hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where the young Creed sets out to find the former boxer. However, early filming began in Liverpool, England, at Everton, Goodison Park.

Belew, a professional boxer who plays the character of Creed’s rival in the film, is a native of Liverpool. He spoke about his role in the film earlier this year.

“I play the pound-for-pound champion of the world and I end up facing Adonis Creed. Rocky Balboa gets involved when he agrees to train Adonis. But if Adonis wants to be the champion, he has to go through me.”

Rocky Balboa may not be the only Stallone character resurfacing. In December of 2014, a tweet from the actor indicated that there may also be another installment in the Rambo movies. Yet, no other details have emerged, which means John Rambo may have been set aside so Stallone could focus more on the new Rocky spinoff.

In February of 2008, Sylvester Stallone was asked which movie character he would like to be remembered for, to which he replied, “it’s a tough one, but Rocky is my first baby, so Rocky.”

Conscientious objection has been the rallying cry for parents across the world who refuse to vaccinate their children. Australian bipartisan lawmakers announced the “no jab, no pay” policy, dealing a decisive blow to citizens who fall into this category, according to a report from Sky News. The government sites that the percentage of parents choosing not to vaccinate their children has more than doubled in the last decade.

Social Service Administrator Minister Scott Morrison noted that it was not fair for parents who vaccinate to subsidize those who object. He also feels that most doctors are in agreement.

“The overwhelming advice of those in the health profession is it’s the smart thing and the right thing to do to immunize your children.”

The Australian Medical Association (AMA) represents 27,000 doctors across Australia. They have come out in overwhelming support of the “no jab, no pay” policy. The AMA President Brian Owler weighed in on the topic as well.

“Vaccination remains one of the most effective public health measures that we have. Whatever we can do to increase vaccination rates is important.”

Parents who choose not to vaccinate their children could stand to lose thousands of dollars in welfare and childcare benefits. They would stand to lose $205 per week in childcare benefits along with a tax credit of $7,500 per year. That is a total of up to $18,160 per year. For those that cite religious reasons for not vaccinating, they would still qualify, but the lawmakers assured the exemption would be “very narrow.”

As you can understand, there are a lot of parents and organizations angry over “no jab, no pay.” They had plenty to say about the policy. At the moment, an online petition gained 3,000 signatures in just the last five days. Along with the petition, parents commented as well.

Rima Helal said, “My children, my choice and NOT the governments.”

Jody Fletcher followed up with this statement.

“I will not put my child at risk from further damage from vaccinations.”

Parents like Helal and Fletcher are not alone in their feelings about vaccinations. There are plenty of high-profile celebrities who have spoken out against vaccines. In an article from the Hollywood Reporter in September of 2014, they were profiled.

Scarlett Johansson’s hot pink jumpsuit at the MTV awards was pretty, the startling pink bottlenose dolphin in Japan is amazing (yup, actually a pink dolphin, more on that coming right up), and the singer Pink is pretty, amazing, and, well, pretty amazing. When the mean girls out there tried fat shaming her, Pink had the right answer.

“My healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off.”

Go ahead. Call Pink fat. Then watch her spin some of her aerial concert magic, singing as only Pink can sing, and balancing her crazy strong body without a problem.

Pink isn’t the only celebrity to hear about it when they put on weight, and some (Tyra Banks for instance) matched Pink for in-your-face responses to the attacks.

Pamela Peeke, MD, blogging on WebMD a few years ago, pointed out that fashion models now wear a size 0 (sort of like the invisible woman, she said) even though most of the rest of us are more like a size 14. We’re bigger than we were 50 years ago, but the models we’re supposed to look like are way smaller.

“Do the work it takes to become healthy. And while you’re at it, define your own sense of beauty.

This is, after all, your life.”

Pink’s got it right. Be who you are and love yourself. Oh, and about that pink dolphin, Angel. She’s one of only 14 albino dolphins in the world, and Angel sure looks like she’s enjoying her pink self.

And why not? Pink is the color of kindness. At Humboldt Public School, Robyn Moore helped students with their International Day of Pink, a day when they wear pink to help them remember that bullying hurts. She could give a few lessons to the fat shamers, too.

“We want it to make a lasting impression. It’s about always treating people the way you want to be treated … Be mindful of everyone’s experiences because everyone’s feelings matter.”

In an upset to the Wonder Woman feature film project, it has just been announced that creative differences have caused Michelle MacLaren to resign from the project.

Warner Bros. promptly issued a statement revealing the loss of Ms. MacLaren.

“Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together.”

The specific reasons for the parting of ways have not yet been made public, but the Michelle’s departure from the Wonder Woman project has already raised concerns that gender may have been an issue. Together with an incident involving the 2011 Thor film project, in which Patty Jenkins similarly left that project mid-stream only to be replaced by Alan Taylor, current incidents would seem to indicate that women are not welcome in the highly lucrative superhero film adaptation franchises.

If gender has become an issue among studio execs, it may affect much of Marvel’s plans for future developments and that, in turn, may make the issue more public. While Hollywood would seem to have difficulty in working with women in these projects, Marvel is at the opposite end of the spectrum. The comic book giant is looking at Nicole Perlman (co-writer for Guardians of the Galaxy) and Meg LeFauve (Pixar’s Inside Out) to write their female-driven Captain Marvel feature film.

Ironically, the incident with Wonder Woman frees up Michelle MacLaren in case Marvel has considered her for the Captain Marvel project.

Ms. MacLaren was certainly qualified to take on this Wonder Woman project. Although Wonder Woman would have been Michelle’s feature film debut, Ms. MacLaren has a long list of television directing credits that include episodes from shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Better Call Saul.

Warner Bros. had spent months searching for a female director to helm the filming of Wonder Woman, before finally choosing Ms. MacLaren to take on the project. Although Michelle is officially off of the Wonder Woman project, her vision may still be seen in the final film. Wonder Woman has gone through an intensive writing process that involved several writers working on several scripts, with Ms. MacLaren being the constant voice among them all.

This sudden change behind the scenes of Wonder Woman may create a domino effect, interfering with the releases of several planned films. Gal Gadot was to make her debut as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, followed closely by the Wonder Woman feature film, which would then see Wonder Woman again in Justice League: Part I, to be released on November 17th, 2017.

The loss of Michelle MacLaren may push back the release of that Wonder Woman feature film and in turn change plans for the proposed Justice League projects, if Warner Bros. can’t replace MacLaren quickly.

Wiz Khalifa sure has been taking a lot of pictures of a brown dog lately — and it makes you wonder if there is a story there. On the other end of Wiz Khalifa’s universe, Amber Rose has been plenty vocal over the weekend — whether it is talking about the state of her relationship with Wiz Khalifa or her state of affairs at Coachella 2015.

In addition to video footage and interviews of her from the event, Amber Rose has been heavily archiving her life outside of Wiz Khalifa on Twitter and Instagram.

On Instagram, Amber Rose does not have a lot to say about Wiz Khalifa — and maybe it’s because she is distracted by other people. For instance, Amber Rose tagged Quincy, saying that he was her “baby” and referred to Michelle Trachtenberg and Matt McGorry as her “Coachella Baes.”

Perhaps she was pretending she was kissing Wiz Khalifa — but the make-out session with Amy Schumer at the MTV Music Awards on April 12 had Amber Rose tweeting that maybe she was “half-lesbian” after that kiss.

Is any of what she has been putting out in the media over Coachella weekend about Wiz Khalifa? The main juicy tidbit for people following Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa getting back together is in an interview by Entertainment Tonight.

When asked if she and Wiz Khalifa would be getting back together, Amber Rose states, “I don’t know. I think we’re just working on our friendship right now.”

Of course, the main question is whether Wiz Khalifa returns any of her feelings. It has been insinuated by the Inquisitr that this could be the case — but nothing is direct.

In particular, it can be difficult to discern who Wiz Khalifa is directing a lot of his social media at — and for all we know, it could be this little brown dog he is always posting photos of. Whether we know who his intended audience is or not, if you follow Wiz Khalifa’s social media, you will see there was a story being told while Amber Rose was at Coachella.

On April 9, Wiz Khalifa tweeted, “Sometimes you get curved. It’s ok baby girl. Don’t cry.”

On Instagram, Wiz Khalifa posted pics showing him hanging out with Snoop Dogg — most likely at his April 10 club show at OHM Nightclub in Hollywood.

On April 13, Wiz Khalifa tweets, “Don’t get mad when you ask me some simple shit and I curve your silly a**.”

Following that, Wiz Khalifa posts on Instagram on April 13, “Only thing missin is u” and is shown sitting in a chair texting — without his dog on his lap. Later that same day, Wiz Khalifa shows himself among a group of people with the caption, “Somebody’s finna get cussed out.”

A few hours later, Wiz Khalifa posts yet another Instagram photo of himself alone and states in the caption, “Why am I so d*** daddy?”

Truthfully, it seems like the only object of Wiz Khalifa’s affections these days is a little brown dog that he keeps tweeting about. Otherwise, we are still waiting to hear if Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose will be just friends, friends with benefits, reunited in matrimonial bliss — or any of the combinations therein.

What is on the horizon in the lives of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose — independent of each other? So far, it appears that Amber Rose will be in London on April 26. Wiz Khalifa will make his next official appearance when he starts touring on June 10 in Camden, New Jersey.

Inmates and cats are helping each other at a prison in Indiana, the Pendleton Correctional facility. A dozen shelter cats are part of a program where inmates take turns caring for the feline residents, according to ABC News Channel 57. They feed them, brush them, pet them, and clean their space. The cats play with the inmates while leaping on their cat trees. A video of the inmates interacting with the cats can be found here.

Five carefully cleared offenders help take care of the cats, who are located in an old office space. It saves the lives of the cats and brings humanity back to the prisoners, some of whom say that they never really cared about anything before this program. Inmate Barry Matlock noted the following, according to ABC News Channel 57.

“I’ve had not a calm past, so, you know, it’s helped me calm down a lot, grow up and it just feels good to be able to help.”

Funded through donations, the program began in March and is called Felines and Offenders Rehabilitation with Affection, Reformation and Dedication (FORWARD), according to the Huffington Post.

The cats can be adopted by prison staff or the families of inmates. The hope is that as the cats get adopted, new ones will enter the program who will also, hopefully, also be adopted. Inmate Lamar Hal stated the following regarding the many benefits he receives from his interaction with the friendly felines.

“I always look forward to coming here for those nine hours. It takes a lot of stress away. It keeps my mind on good things, positive things, rather than just sitting in a cell for the majority of the time….Love will change characteristics from anybody’s tortured past. That goes for animals and humans, really.”

The Director of the Animal Protection League in Anderson, Maleah Stringer, where the cats came from, saw the profound effects the cats had on the inmates, softening them and giving them a reason for being, according to the Huffington Post.

“I’ve had offenders tell me when they got an animal, it was the first time they can remember they were allowing themselves to care about something, to love something. That’s a pretty powerful statement.”

One prisoner noted that, ironically, the cats now have more freedom than before even though they are behind prison walls, because they are free to roam the office and are no longer in cages. Michelle Rains, a spokeswoman for the prison, said that the program is working out well. It gives the prisoners participating a sense of responsibility, and many prisoners now want to sign up to participate in the program.

It’s been said that animals can tame us. Charles Barker, a prisoner participating in FORWARD, stated the following, according to the Casa Grande Dispatch.

“This is one of the best parts of my week. It’s very therapeutic. After I did this a couple times, you spend your off days wishing you could go back.”

The cats in the FORWARD program are well taken care of and loved. Not all animals are as lucky. A cat who was severely abused, who rescuers named Bruce Almighty, was being cared for by a Humane Society and veterinarians, hoping that the cat’s legs could be saved. Whoever abused him had tightly wrapped electrical tape around his legs, according to an Inquisitr article. The abuser is being sought.

Have you ever come away from a trailer for a new release wondering why you should even bother watching the film? This is what fans are saying about the just released trailer for Terminator Genisys. At 166 seconds, the Terminator Genisys trailer is certainly long enough to give viewers that feeling of seeing the film without having seen it, but that’s not what has Terminator fans grumbling.

In those 166 seconds, there are two major Terminator Genisys reveals that could have (and probably should have) waited for the actual release of the film. This may not be a big deal to moviegoers new to the Terminator franchise, but for most fans, these two spoilers will really put dampen the moviegoing experience.

First, and probably most shocking of all, we learn that John Connor (Jason Clarke) is actually a bad guy. What? Yes, he’s been manipulated in some way by the machines and is now one of the enemies of his mother, Sarah Connor and her Terminator guardian. As the Terminator Genisys trailer nears its halfway mark, John Connor reveals that he’s not quite a man and not quite a machine.

That brings us to the second reveal. Terminator Genisys pits terminator against terminator, or more accurately, old Arnold Schwarzenegger against young Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Terminator franchise has always tried to be an innovator in the use of special effects and CGI effects in particular, so it should come as no surprise to see an actor facing his younger self in this unique Terminator Genisys showdown.

As a whole, Terminator Genisys seems to be doing more here than providing an entertaining sequel. The appearance of John Connor in Terminator Genisys as an antagonist seems to be moving the overall plot away from all that has been said in previous Terminator installments.

This should come as no surprise to Sarah, who has always taught her son that “there’s no fate but what we make for ourselves.”

It seems Terminator Genisys is setting fans up for an entirely new Terminator franchise, rebooting the series from within the original storyline. Could John Connor be the forerunner of a new hybrid breed of terminators, essentially taking Skynet’s place as the big bad in the Terminator universe. The Terminator Genisys trailer certainly implies that this is now a three-way fight and that all bets are off as far as who will emerge as the victor.

Police are now advising charges be pressed after actor Ryan Reynolds was struck by a car on Friday.

As recently reported by The Inquistr, Reynolds was struck by the car while he was in the parking garage of the Vancouver hotel, the Shangri-La. It has been reported the actor was not seriously injured after Reynolds was struck by the car. According to a statement issued by the Vancouver police, he suffered a sore knee and back but was able to return to work the following day.

Constable Brian Montague has allegedly recommended a charge of intimidation be laid against a photographer who was arrested on Sunday night after police viewed hotel video security footage of Reynolds being struck by a car. The person was later released from custody on Monday pending a promise to appear on April 28 2015. According the The Globe and Mail, the person’s car was also seized.

While no names were mentioned in the statement Constable Montague made, it is assumed he was referring to the incident he earlier mentioned naming Reynolds as being the person struck by a car. And after photographer, Rik Fedyck, 52, of Richmond, made the following statement to The Province, it is likely he was the one detained by police on Sunday:

The story that’s out there is 100-per-cent false. Reynolds’ publicist put out an incorrect story. All I’m going to say is Ryan Reynolds was not hit by a car.

While Fedyck also stated he couldn’t talk about the incident, he did indicate that the charges originally suggested, one of hit-and-run, then three counts of intimidation, had been downgraded to one count each of intimidation and mischief, thus proving – in his eyes – that the police did not have enough evidence to prove he committed a criminal act, or, if indeed Ryan Reynolds was even struck by a car. Intimidation is a charge rarely issued but according to the criminal code of of Canada, is used in instances where individuals “beset or watch the place where that person resides, works, carries on business or happens to be.”

However, this is not the first time photographer Rik Fedyck has had a run in with police over celebrities. Before Reynolds was allegedly stuck by a car, Fedyck has been reported as being involved in incidents with celebrities Jennifer Aniston and Denise Richards.

Grand Theft Auto 5 launched today on PC, though to say it launched smoothly would be an exaggeration. While many players have been able to drive through the streets of Los Santos, soaking in the 4K God Rays, others can’t even get GTA 5 to launch on their rig. Here are some of the most common errors and some ways to fix them.

Windows User Name Error

One of the most common errors for GTA 5 PC players unable to access the game is an issue with the install path thanks to the PC username. Rockstar has laid out a workaround to circumvent the issue, and they are currently working on a way to patch GTA 5 so this error won’t happen in the future. Essentially, the error message “The Rockstar update service is unavailable (code 1)” will pop up in the installer. This means that your username in Windows contains a character that is causing issues with the GTA 5 launcher. Rockstar is recommending that players create a new Administrator account in Windows and then re-boot the system. Log in with the new account and start the installation process. Eventually the game should be patched and this workaround will be obsolete, but until then it’s the only way to continue the installation.

GTA 5 Social Club Launcher Issues

Some players are reporting issues with the GTA 5 launcher failing to initialize. Rockstar has recomended to players to uninstall the launcher and reinstall it. Just the launcher and not Grand Theft Auto 5 itself. Make sure that the following.exe files are not running in your task manager:

• GTA5.exe
• PlayGTAV.exe
• GTAVLauncher.exe

Run the launcher as an administrator and you should be good to start playing GTA 5 soon!

Failed Zlib Call Error

This is an error that seems to be haunting some GTA 5 fans, and can be a devastating one. This error happens after you’ve installed the game and successfully launched Grand Theft Auto 5. For some players this has popped up right away, though some Steam users have reported it happening after playing for a few minutes. The error suggests rebooting your PC or reinstalling the game all together. Rockstar’s support page for GTA 5 on PC states that rebooting the PC will likely not make a difference in correcting the error. Steam users can verify the game cache, but those who bought from Rockstar will be forced to redownload the full 60GB game. As of now there is no other fix for this issue.

If you’ve been lucky to play GTA 5 with no issues, enjoy it. For the rest of us, hopefully Rockstar fixes these issues quickly, otherwise GTA 5 can be chalked up to another failed game launch in a recent history all too full of them.
