Liberty, SC – A South Carolina woman has pled guilty to the murders of her two sons, stepmother, and ex-husband. The shootings occurred in two separate mobile homes located at 236 and 304 Pinedale Drive in Liberty on October 14, 2011.

In what authorities call a calculated attempt to conceal the murders, 49-year-old Susan Hendricks was accused of trying to make the deaths appear as though they’d been part of a murder-suicide at the hands of one of her dead sons.

In addition, the woman, who claims to suffer from a split personality disorder, tried to reap the financial rewards of their life insurance totaling nearly $700,000. Investigators believe the money was only one of several other unknown motives behind the massacre.

Although she’s admitted to killing four people, Hendricks was found to be mentally ill. A psychiatrist testified that Hendricks was likely taken over by a personality incapable of discerning right from wrong, the same personality that shot her own son in the head and tried to make him appear to responsible for the homicides.

The gun used in all four slayings was found beside 23-year-old Matthew Hendricks’ body. Investigators said Susan Hendricks told deputies her son was suicidal when interviewed.

Next door, authorities found the bodies of her other son, stepmother, and ex-husband. Marshall Hendricks, 20, was shot several times while in the house and was fatally wounded as he tried to run outside, collapsing on the concrete stoop. Mark Hendricks, 52, was found on a couch in the living room, shot in the chest. Susan Hendricks’ stepmother, 64-year-old Linda Burns, was found in her bedroom. She was shot several times in the chest, arm, and stomach.

Hendricks’ story of a murder-suicide quickly fell apart when questioned as to why she failed to call 911. Hendricks was initially charged due to the insurance motive, ownership of the weapon, and the inconsistencies in her story. Tests found gunshot residue and traces of Marshall’s blood on her clothing.

Forensic, clinical, and neurological psychiatrist Dr. David Price testified on Hendricks’ mental condition throughout her life and at the time of the killings. The psychiatrist explained Hendricks’ personality disorder stemmed from the severe post-traumatic stress she suffered due to extensive sexual and physical abuse in her childhood before leaving home at 14. The personality disorder was established as a coping mechanism. The defense said the woman spent years being violated by both parents, who also allowed others to abuse her. Over the last three decades Hendricks had been admitted to psychiatric hospitals several times.

Investigators were concerned Hendricks may have been malingering, fabricating or exaggerating symptoms of a mental illness, given the possible death penalty she could have faced otherwise if found completely sane and unhindered by a murderous alter-ego.

Regardless, she accepted a plea deal from prosecutors which will impose a life sentence for the four counts of murder. The plea bargain guarantees Hendricks will receive proper psychological help while behind bars. The remaining family members were satisfied with the punishment.

Split personality disorder – also referred to dissociative identity disorder and formerly multiple personality disorder – is a mental condition characterized by at least two distinct and relatively enduring identities with alternate control over a person’s behavior, resulting in memory impairments. The disorder is difficult to diagnose due to the possible comorbidity of other mental disorders with similar symptoms and typically develops after prolonged traumatic psychological events.

This is not the first time Hendricks has shot someone. Back in April 2006, Hendricks shot and killed 36-year-old Doyle Brian Teague, claiming the man entered her home uninvited. Criminal charges were not filed and the shooting had been considered an act of self-defense.

Star Wars: The Old Republic has taken some action to keep the game feeling new again. The title took a turn to the free-to-play variety just last fall as a way to try and drum up more support online.

What once was considered one of the most popular MMOs in a rather crowded field has been losing gamers left and right over the last few years. That is why the company made the move to free-to-play and that certainly seems to have staunched the bleeding.

The addition of the Cathar race certainly isn’t some earth shattering move but it is one that could keep players interested in the game. This is the first major patch to the game since the 2.0 update that added the Hut Cartel DLC to the game’s universe.

Star Wars: The Old Republic has a new trailer to go along with the addition of the Cathar. The trailer shows off how you can play with the characters from this particular race. It looks as if the feline forms aren’t that much different than other races in the game.

You can wield either a blaster or a light saber but if there are actual special skills coming with the Cathar playable characters you will have to find out about them by actually playing the MMO.

For those who aren’t Star Wars dedicated fans, the Cathar as indeed a feline race that can be quite temperamental but are apparently fiercely loyal. One member of the race that hard core fans will remember is Juhani from Knights of the Old Republic fame.

If you have gone to the free-to-play mode you won’t get to take advantage of this new feature. Free players only get to choose from three different playable races and the maps they can check out are also limited.

Scott Baio is set to return to Arrested Development for the popular sitcom’s revival, but the man who plays straight-laced lawyer Bob Loblaw said even he doesn’t know much about the direction of the show.

After a fan outcry and a long and drawn-out period of negotiations, the hit show Arrested Development is set to make its return on Nexflix next month. The show rejoins the Bluth family, who had been seen struggling to maintain their company after the incarceration of patriarch George (in a plot line that mirrored corporate scandals like Enron).

But though there have been many rumors about what direction the show could take now that several years have passed for the Bluth family, Scott Baio in his return didn’t have much to offer.

“What happens with [Executive Producer] Mitch Hurwitz is you don’t know anything,” Scott told AccessHollywood.com. “He gave me a page and then another page and that was it.”

Even on his first go-round, Scott Baio said Hurwitz didn’t give him many details.

“I actually did one episode,” Scott said return for Season 4 of the show, which originally aired on Fox. “I was surprised to be called back because the character’s really just a name. I didn’t even really know what the name was until we started working, a couple of years ago, on it.”

That name, Bob Loblaw, was one of the running jokes on the series (if you haven’t seen the show or don’t get it, try saying the name out loud).

There have now been some clues about Season 4 of Arrested Development, including some clips that were screened during panels at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour and SXSW. The actors have also begun hitting the publicity circuit in anticipation of the show’s long-awaited return.

Viewers can see Scott Baio in his return to Arrested Development when Season 4 debuts May 26 on Netflix.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is at a Washington, D.C., hospital recovering from shoulder surgery. Breyer required shoulder replacement surgery after he fell from his bicycle on Friday.

The justice was riding his bicycle near the Korean War Veterans Memorial at the time of the accident. Supreme Court spokesperson Kathleen Arberg explained of Breyer’s condition:

“Associate Justice Stephen Breyer underwent reverse shoulder replacement surgery for a proximal humerus fracture this morning at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.”

Arberg added of the injury, “The fracture was sustained in his right shoulder in a fall from his bicycle on Friday afternoon, April 26, near the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital following his injury.”

It is not the first time Justice Breyer has been seriously injured in a bicycle accident. The justice broke his collarbone in an accident in 2011. He also sustained broken ribs and a punctured lung in a bike accident in 1993, the year before he joined the nation’s highest court.

Justice Breyer was appointed in 1994 by President Clinton. He is currently 74 years old. Breyer’s shoulder surgery on Saturday was successful and the justice is resting comfortably in his hospital room. He is expected to be released from the facility early in the week.

The news of Breyer’s shoulder injury and hospital stay comes at the end of the court’s current term. Last week the court held the last arguments of the term. They are now racing to finish their opinions, four of which they will present on Monday. Their term will end the last week of June.

Breyer, along with the rest of the Supreme Court, heard two landmark cases this past month involving gay marriage, including California’s Proposition 8. It is not clear if the court will issue rulings on these hearings on Monday, or wait until another day.

Former Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke is suing 18 internet commenters for character assassination in connection with a rumor about Hazel Mae that he says is a lie.

Various websites, Twitter postings, and other social media outlets had put forth the theory that Burke was fired by Toronto because he hooked up with sportscaster Hazel Mae and got her pregnant. In his lawsuit, Burke contends those allegations are false and defamatory. Hazel Mae works for Rogers Sportsnet; prior to that she anchored on NESN and then the MLB Network.

Burke’s lawsuit, which was filed in British Columbia Supreme Court, contends that the defamatory comments on the internet about the Hazel Mae relationship (or more accurately, non-relationship) were made with the knowledge that they were false or with reckless disregard to the truth. Burk is seeking to recover a wide range of money damages as well as an injunction against an further defamatory postings.

The former NHL executive’s legal team doesn’t know the actual identities of the named “John Doe” defendants so the legal papers only identifies them for now by their screen names as placeholders. If the lawsuit continues into the discovery phase, Burke may be able to obtain their actual identities.

Burke’s lawyer ad this to say about the legal action against the Internet posters: “A lot of people think that they can with impunity say whatever outrageous things on the Internet and nobody’s ever going to be able to find them or hold them accountable. Brian is going to hold them accountable … Brian has decided that it is time to stop people who post comments on the Internet from thinking they can fabricate wild stories with impunity.”

Burke currently works as a scout for the Anaheim Ducks.

Presumably Canadian law is similar to that of the US where it is very difficult for someone considered a public figure (i.e., a celebrity) to recover damages for defamation  unless there is a finding of “actual malice” on the part of the person or organization that published the stories in question.  Burke’s lawsuit does contain an “actual and express malice” claim.

Saturn will be at its closest point to Earth early on Sunday morning when it reaches opposition. This will place it exactly opposite the sun in our sky.

Opposition has several effects on Saturn, the most important of which marks its arrival in the evening sky. Now, the planet will be visible in our sky all night long.

On Saturday and Sunday night, Saturn will be found in the southeastern sky, provided the weather is cooperating. Along with its arrival in our sky, Saturn’s opposition to the sun also marks its brightest point. This year is particularly special, since the ringed planet will be the brightest it has been in several years.

Astronomers say that Saturn will be at magnitude 0.2, meaning it will outshine the first magnitude star Spica in the constellation Virgo. They measure the brightness of he night sky in terms of magnitude. Lower numbers mean that the star or planet is brighter.

It is easy to spot Saturn in the Earth’s night sky, especially with how bright it will be. If the sky is clear, one can follow the old rule, “Arc to Arcturus, then speed on to Spica.” Meaning you can start by following the arc the Big Dipper’s handle forms. Follow it away from the Dipper’s bowl in a broad arc across the sky.

You will reach Arcturus in the kite-shaped Bootes, then move on to Spica. Saturn can be found in the constellation Virgo. Spica will sparkle in the sky on the right, while Saturn will appear steady on the left. While a star generally appears to be twinkling in the night sky, a planet like Saturn will be more steady, because it appears larger and its light is less affected by atmospheric turbulence.

While a night observer will be able to easily spot Saturn, it is likely you will need a telescope to view the planet’s iconic rings. Some people have claimed to see the rings without a telescope. However, most will need a magnification of about 25 power to spot them. Along with its rings, the planet boasts 62 moons. However, even its brightest moons likely won’t be seen easily.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is heading to a console near you on October 29 and now it has been revealed that those who preorder the game will get an extra little gift. The Watch companion application will be made available to anyone who pre-orders the game through their usual retailers or online.

Ubisoft has issued an official press release that detailed what this companion app will actually give those who pre-order the title. The Watch will be available both in smartphone and tablet additions and will also be coming as a desktop format for those who just want to use their computer.

Assassin’s Creed 4 fans who order the game ahead of time will get the app that gives them a look at a community that will be specially cultivated for the series and Black Flag in particular. While the application is only being announced for this title it seems likely that it will be expanded to future releases as well.

Ubisoft has already announced that they are looking to release a new title in the series every year. It doesn’t seem as though they would release a new application for every single version. More likely is that you will get some sort of login or other way to lock out those who don’t pre-order next year’s version of the game.

The Watch was unveiled with a brand new trailer that showed off all the features of the companion application. Among those features are the ability to join and follow related social media interactions.

Users will also be able to get to see regularly updated features that will give more information about the story inside the game. Those who pre-order will be able to get inside info on different characters and locations that players will interact with.

Interactivity will be taken to the next level with the added feature of being able to play special quests that are offered up on the application.

Honda issued a recall on Friday for 4,600 Fit Sport models around the country to fix a stability software issue. The small sedan’s stability issue crops up when the vehicle is equipped with certain tires.

The yaw rate on some of the 2012 and 2013 models exceeds federal safety standards. The problem was discovered when Honda tested the vehicles for compliance with federal regulations.

The automaker is not currently aware of any crashes or injuries that are related to the stability issue. The company will mail notices to owners of the affected Fit Sport cars in May. They will be asked to bring their cars into the dealership where the software will be updated to correct the issue.

The Honda Fit Sport recall is the second recall issued by the automaker in April. The first notice came last week when the manufacturer announced it would recall some 2012 and 2013 CR-V SUVs and Odyssey minivans, along with some 2013 Acura RDS crossovers.

The previous problem was with an automatic shift issue. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website suggested the number of vehicles affected by the issue was up to 204,169 in the United States.

Honda also released a statement about the recall on its website, explaining that the problem affects 204,500 cars in the US, including 128,000 CR-Vs, 59,000 Odysseys, and 17,500 RDX models. The former recall problem happened during sub-freezing temperatures. The vehicle’s transmission could potentially shift out of park without the driver needing to depress the brake pedal.

The problem could increase the risk of an accident. Documentation from Honda regarding the recall suggested that the brake-shift interlock mechanism may have been manufactured incorrectly. Honda is expected to notify owners of the affected vehicles in May.

The Honda safety recall will begin May 13th. Dealers will replace the defective brake-shift interlock blocking mechanism with an updated one. The replacement will be done at no charge to the owner.

Honda Recall Issued For 46,000 Fit Sports is a post from: The Inquisitr

The state of Connecticut has fired an employee who allegedly allowed her husband to check out Adam Lanza’s body before the autopsy took place.

Jean Henry, a technician in the Medical Examiner’s office, had been on a four-month paid leave while an investigation into the December 16 incident was underway. She is now contesting the firing through the state employees’ union grievance procedure.

Her dismissal from state employment became effective on April 10, but it evidently just became public. In a dismissal letter to the worker, H. Wayne Carver, the state’s Chief Medical Examiner, wrote of the December 16 incident that “On this day you violated the ethical mission of this agency, showed extremely poor judgment, were unprofessional and failed to follow agency policies and procedures.”

Adam Lanza was the gunman who went on a shooting rampage at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Conn. that left 20 children and six adults dead.

Henry reportedly gave her husband unauthorized access to area of the morgue where bodies are refrigerated: “Henry and her husband entered the refrigerated room at the medical examiner’s facility in which bodies are kept pending autopsies. It was the morning of the day when a postmortem later would be performed on Lanza. They went to the gurney where Lanza lay. Henry unzipped the bag so her husband could look at him, closed the bag, and then they left the room.”

Under standard procedure, the only persons granted access to the morgue are authorized staff members and police who might be in the room during an autopsy as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. No members of the general public are apparently ever allowed in that area of the facility.

Jean Henry has an unrelated federal lawsuit pending against the current Connecticut governor and other officials over what she claims is an unfair demotion that was politically motivated.

State Morgue Worker Fired For Allegedly Giving Hubby Sneak-Peek Of Adam Lanza’s Body is a post from: The Inquisitr

Julian Sands has been announced as someone who will have a recurring role on the eighth and final season of Dexter. There aren’t a whole lot of details being released about this finale season of the Showtime hit show.

That certainly hasn’t changed when it comes to what Sands might be doing in the show. We do know that the British actor who usually plays a more well to do person who has a bit of a dark side will be playing a businessman who goes by the name of Miles Foster.

Julian Sands’s new character will apparently be one of those ruthless types who travels all over the world. How and when he crosses paths with our titular hero is anyone’s guess at this point but more than one person has already guessed that Foster will be a serial killer.

Should he turn into someone that Dexter has to take down, the showdown could be one of the better ones we’ve seen over the years. Another new cast member is Darri Ingolfsson who will also have a recurring role on the show.

Much like Sands, Ingolfsson’s length of stay on the show is not known but we do know that he will appear in a multi-episode arc that will have him dating Dexter’s neighbor.

Darri Ingolfsson’s character will be an antiques dealer who mostly is involved in medieval weapons. Considering that this is indeed the final year that Dexter will be fighting his special brand of the “good fight” it is likely that the characters that are introduced this season will be exiting the series in some rather original and probably gruesome ways.

Fans of the show can take heart in the fact that there has been a spinoff confirmed. This means you will be able to get your Dexter fix in other ways.

The FBI removed a boat used by Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev from its Watertown, Massachusetts backyard. The boat was famously used as a hiding spot by the 19-year-old, who stayed there for almost a whole day while police and SWAT teams searched for him.

The boat was also the scene where Tsarnaev was finally captured. He was discovered bleeding in the boat by its owner last Friday evening.

The owner ran inside immediately and called police, who quickly arrived on the scene and exchanged gunfire with the Boston bombing suspect. The 19-year-old ethnic Chechen surrendered to authorities shortly after.

But the boat was processed as evidence at the scene and moved on Friday to an undisclosed location for storage. It is unknown what will happen to it now. The FBI also concluded their search at a landfill in New Bedford on Friday. They were looking for evidence connected to the bombings, according to FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.

However, Eimiller declined to say what evidence investigators were searching for. She stated, ”We were seeking evidence but we are not commenting on the nature of what was being sought or what was found. We can confirm that we were there Thursday, Friday and left yesterday.”

The landfill is located near the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, where the youngest Tsarnaev attended. Local media suggested that the FBI was searching the landfill for Dzhokhar’s laptop.

While the FBI removed the boat from Boston, police also moved the suspected bomber to a federal prison hospital 40 miles outside the city. He was listed in fair condition at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center before the transfer. He will now spend an indefinite period of time at Fort Devens, a decommissioned US Army base, while he awaits trial on federal weapons of mass destruction charges.

Investigators are also likely building a case against the 19-year-old in the murder of MIT campus police officer Sean Collier, who was allegedly killed by the brothers on Thursday night, April 18.

A prison riot in Mexico left 13 dead and 65 injured when rival prisoners squared off in a cell block just before daybreak.

The riot took place on Saturday in the central Mexican state of San Luis Potosi, sparking just after 4:30 am in a cell block. Though officials at La Pila prison had regained control by the morning, the prison riot left 13 dead as close to 100 prisoners fought with makeshift knives and fists. It wasn’t immediately clear if all of those killed were prisoners or if any prison officials were included.

Concepcion Tovar, head of the state’s prison system, said the deadly riot was the work of a prison gang that had been harassing and robbing other inmates. Prison officials held back on blaming drug gangs, who have waged widescale turf battles that have resulted in thousands of killings in Mexico in recent years.

Other prison riots in Mexico in recent years have been blamed these gangs.

Mexico is undergoing a vast war on drugs and the dangerous cartels that traffic drugs to the United States. In the first four months of the presidency of Enrique Pena Nieto, who campaigned on a promise to end the violence gripping the nation, killings linked to drug gangs have fallen 14 percent to 4,249.

But as the country cracks down on drug cartels, prisons have become overcrowded and rival gangs in close proximity have often continued their turf battles behind bars.

These prisoners often have control what goes on behind bars. The National Human Rights Commission reported last year that drug gangs were essentially in charge of the interior of many Mexican prisons.

Mexican officials said the violence at La Pila prison was a “fight not an uprising,” as prisoners were looking to battle one another rather than targeting guards. There is an investigation into whether prison officials cold have played a role in the violence.

Though the prison riot left 13 dead, the death toll could still rise. Officials said 22 of the 65 people injured were in serious condition.

The Big Ten has announced that there will be new division alignments when the conference expands to 14 teams before the 2014 football season. The new realignment means the end of the “Legends” and “Leaders” divisions in favor of the more traditional “East” and “West” divisions.

The need to adjust the conference alignment comes when Rutgers and Maryland are both officially members. Both of those teams are farther east than almost every other team in either division.

While conference President Jim Delaney might claim that the changing of names is simply because the two regions are more readily identifiable, the lack of popularity of the former division names had to play a role as well.

Each Big Ten division will have seven teams with Rutgers, Maryland, Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State in the East division. Nebraska, Wisconsin, Purdue, Iowa, Illinois, Northwestern and Minnesota will be in the West division.

All of the teams in the East division are located in the Eastern time zone, while all but Purdue in the West division is located in the Central time zone.

The conference also announced that starting in 2016, teams would starting playing nine conference games. At the moment they only play eight games but with the expansion Delaney and company want to make sure that teams are playing at least three schools from the other division every year.

The realignment actually reunites quite a few of the rivalry games that had needed special dispensation to remain active when Nebraska joined the conference and made it a 12 team league. This year the division alignment has teams like Illinois and Northwestern playing in separate divisions.

The conference had proclaimed that there were permanent rivalries such as Illinois-Northwestern and Ohio State-Michigan. There is no word on what is to become of the “permanent” rivalries that were forged by the league such as Nebraska-Penn State.

Elton John has officially mellowed. The famously, temperamental Brit legend has ended his public feud with Madonna.

Elton’s long-standing face-off with the ‘material mother’ originally blew up over his dismissal of her 2012 MDNA tour as a “disaster” and taunts about her being a “fairground stripper.”

Reportedly, the “Candle in the Wind” singer also took offence at Madonna’s less than complimentary remarks about Lady Gaga’s music, whom he considers a personal friend.

Now, however, John says that he and Madonna have moved on, even if they didn’t exactly ‘hug it out.’

Speaking to Extra‘s Terri Seymour, John said his bad blood with Madonna was all “over and done with.” And apparently the hatchet was buried over dinner at a French restaurant.

“We were in a restaurant in France in the summertime. She came in, and I sent over a note. She was very gracious. I apologized profusely because what I said should never have appeared in public,” John explained.

“She accepted our apology, and then we bought her dinner. That’s over and done with.”

In other Elton news, it’s been revealed that the singer and his husband, David Furnish, have asked Lady Gaga to be a godmother to their second son Elijah, who was born via a surrogate in January this year.

Gaga is already a godmother to the couple’s first child, the now two-year-old Zachary, and it seems they were so impressed that they popped the question a second time.

“She’s a great role model, she’s young, [and] she’s been a great godmother to Zachary,” John told Extra. “We’re all bonkers in this business, but we’re human beings at the same time.”

In the same interview Furnish added: “You learn so much about yourself and about life by seeing children.”

John also spoke of his love for fatherhood. “I love getting up in the morning and having breakfast with Zachary.”

“Everything I thought I would find annoying about having children, like screaming and shouting and tantrums … I don’t find any of it annoying. I find it all enchanting.”

Elton John Buries Hatchet With Madonna And Not Where You’d Think is a post from: The Inquisitr

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is now behind a steel door, tucked away in a small prison cell close to 40 miles from where police say he and his older brother planted bombs at the Boston Marathon.

After recovering in a Boston hospital this week from injuries he suffered in a standoff with police, Tsarnaev has been transferred to a federal medical detention center, where he is behind a steel door in a secured room.

Federal Medical Center Devens spokesman John Collauti said the 19-year-old bombing suspect is being kept under close supervision. Tsarnaev is behind a steel door that has only a small observation window and a slot for passing through food or medication.

Inmates in the portion of the prison where Tsarnaev is being held have fewer privilege, including no access to television or radio. Dzhokhar is allowed to read books and other written material, prison officials said.

“Really this type of facility is fully capable of handling him and it’s not that much of an inconvenience because it’s more or less business as usual,” Collauti said.

Dzhokhar was captured last Friday night in Watertown, not far from the site of the Boston Marathon bombing that claimed the lives of three people and left more than 180 injured. Police say he and his 26-year-old brother Tamerlan left makeshift bombs created from pressure cookers and laced with shrapnel near the finish line of the race.

Police caught up with the brothers later in the week after they allegedly shot and killed Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer Sean Collier. A rolling gunbattle then followed through the streets of Watertown that left Tamerlan dead and Dzhokhar missing. He was found the next day hiding inside a boat in a residential neighborhood.

As court proceedings for the accused terrorist begin, there are still unanswered questions about how the brothers perpetrated the bombings. Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah, a member of the Homeland Security Committee, said he’s not convinced that they worked alone to create and package their arsenal of improvised explosives.

“I don’t think it’s necessarily just two kids who watched some YouTube videos and went awry and decided to do this mayhem,” Chaffetz said on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal program. “No, I worry that they were radicalized in a way that others may have also been radicalized.”

Tsarnaev will next leave his steel door on May 30, when a magistrate has scheduled his next court appearance.

Ashton Kutcher left the Stagecoach music festival after a violent melee with security.

According to TMZ, Kutcher and a few security guards got into a shoving match after a female fan tried to approach the actor during a show at Stagecoach.

The gossip site reports that Kutcher was in the VIP area near the stage for the Nick 13 and Dwight Yoakam concert when a woman approached him and tried to shake his hand. One of the security guards stepped in to separate the two and apparently Kutcher didn’t like that.

The two started arguing and pushing each other. Kutcher’s friends and a few other security guards got involved in the melee before Kutcher was eventually pulled away.

Kutcher left the show after the incident by his own choice. But UPI notes that the security guard was trying to have him ejected after the melee.

Kutcher has not commented on the incident yet.

Kutcher’s Stagecoach experience may have been cut short by a violent disagreement with security but the actor did get to see a few shows at the country music festival. The actor sent out this picture from the show last night.

This just in: Iron Man 3 is a huge freaking success.

Iron Man 3 is still a week away from premiering in the U.S., but it has already nearly met its own budget in overseas markets. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film has made $195.3 million overseas from 42 markets, beating last year’s The Avengers, which debuted to $181.1 million internationally.

Industry analysts say that part of Iron Man 3‘s appeal is that it plays like a sequel to The Avengers, which included Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark in an ensemble cast with other Marvel properties including Captain America, Thor and The Hulk.

Now that all of the Marvel films have a pretty clearly set shared-continuity, the “Phase Two” films have a unique chance to perform better than “Phase One.” Proof of concept is Iron Man 3, which nearly doubled the opening of Iron Man 2 in 2010.

Disney president of worldwide distribution Dave Hollis refused to speculate on whether the film would beat The Avengers domestically, but was happy with Iron Man 3‘s early success.

“To say we are beyond encouraged is an understatement,” he said.

Iron Man 3 pairs Downey with director Shane Black, who takes over the series from Jon Favreau. Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle also reprise their respective roles from Iron Man 2.

Thus far, the film has done well with critics. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes puts it at a 93 percent approval rating based on 54 reviews from professional critics.

“With the help of its charismatic lead, some impressive action sequences, and even a few surprises, Iron Man 3 is a witty, entertaining adventure and possibly one of Marvel’s best yet,” the site says.

President Barack Obama spoke at last night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner (also known as the nerd prom) and as has been standard, made some edgy jibes at himself, the Republicans, network news, pop culture and host Conan O’Brien.

Obama has always been pretty skillful at casually joking about the controversies and issues that surround his presidency, and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was no exception.

Obama opened joking about conservative fears for his second term, taking the stage to a rap track and quipping “second term, baby!” while knocking Rush Limbaugh.

Out of the gate, the President took off the gloves and made some pretty pointed cracks, with many to follow. Below are nine of President Obama’s best one-liners from the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Dinner:

“Now, look, I get it.  These days, I look in the mirror and I have to admit, I’m not the strapping young Muslim socialist that I used to be … Time passes. You get a little gray.”

Have you ever wondered what President Obama would look like with bangs? The president answered that pressing question last night at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Obama said that he’s been working hard to keep the country motivated during his second term. Unfortunately, it looks like the president is out of idea. Obama borrowed a page from Michelle playbook last night to inspire the country with a new hairstyle.

Obama said:

“I recognize that this job can take a toll on you. I understand that second term you need a burst of new energy and try some new things … My team and I talked about it and we’re willing to try anything, so we borrowed one of Michelle’s tricks.”

The president then turned to a large screen where a few photoshopped images of himself with bangs were displayed for the crowd.

Michelle Obama had people talking last year when she decided to wear bangs. At the time, Michelle said that it was her way of having a “mid-life crisis.” The First Lady said that she can’t go out and get a tattoo or buy a fancy new car so she decided to try a radical new hairstyle instead.

A 9-year-old girl was killed by an intruder during a home invasion in California on Saturday.

A manhunt is currently underway in Valley Springs for the man responsible for the murder. The Calaveras County Sheriff’s office explained that the suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous. Residents are urged to stay inside and lock their doors.

“We’re doing a house to house search and in some cases we’re searching extensively into attics and storage sheds. It’s a difficult area to search. It’s rural, it’s remote,” a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s office explained.

While officers explained that an investigation is currently underway, details about the 9-year-old who was killed by the intruder have yet to be released to the public.

The stabbing occurred around noon on Saturday in a rural community in Northern California. The little girl’s 12-year-old brother reportedly encountered the intruder inside their home. The suspect then fled the scene.

When the boy checked on his sister, he discovered that she had been stabbed. Although the little girl was taken to an area hospital for treatment, so later died from her injuries.

The victim’s brother described the intruder as a six-foot white or Latino man with long grey hair. He was wearing blue pants and a black long-sleeve shirt at the time the stabbing occurred.

Authorities launched a manhunt for the intruder on Saturday. However, police said the area provided plenty of places for the suspect to hide. The search continued through Saturday evening and into Sunday morning. More information is expected to be released shortly.

“That’s just terrible, what can I say about it it’s a tragedy,” one neighbor explained.

Many residents have started posting information about suspicious activity to social media. Some people claimed to have seen a prowler in the area. However, the Sheriff’s office has yet to confirm or deny any of these reports.

Information about the 9-year-old girl who was killed by an intruder in Northern California or her family has not been released as of this writing.
