WWE News: WWE Set To Bring Back King Of The Ring Tournament Live This Tuesday Night

WWE Extreme Rules is over and now the company is building toward WWE Payback. However, that doesn’t mean that WWE is done giving us something interesting right now. WWE announced at Extreme Rules that they are bringing back the King of the Ring Tournament, and it is set to take place this Tuesday night. The show is set to be live, this time on the WWE Network for the first time.

The idea is that WWE plans to involve this in some sort of storyline, which could tie into WWE Payback in some way. Tonight on WWE RAW, we’re set to get qualifying matches which will determine the matches for Tuesday’s KOTR tourny itself. The last time WWE had this tournament was in 2010, and it occurred on WWE RAW where Sheamus ended up walking away with the title.

He went by King Sheamus for a bit and the tie into being the winner seemed to be a joke on Sheamus for some time, which sort of diminished the tournament in many fans’ eyes. Despite this, many have been calling for WWE to bring back the tournament. Most felt that King of the Ring should be a PPV on it’s own and take the place of some other random WWE PPV. However, one of the original ideas of KOTR that made it worthwhile is no longer seemingly needed.

It used to be that the winner of the tournament would get a title opportunity. Now that we still have the Royal Rumble match and Money in the Bank, the idea of KOTR isn’t needed. When WWE brought it back to WWE RAW, it seemed to be a throw away sort of thing.

While plans could change, the tie into WWE Payback could be that whoever wins gets a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Payback itself. We’ve been hearing that WWE wants to add Roman Reigns to the WWE World Title match at Payback, so this could be a way they do so. This would help Reigns get over more, as he would have to fight through a tournament to earn his championship opportunity. Sort of reminds us of another multi-man match he won earlier in the year, eh?

It doesn’t make sense to bring back the tournament at all unless it was to help further plans for a WWE Superstar or help with title plans currently. Again, plans could still change but we should expect Reigns to be involved in the tournament and win it. WWE Network is stacked with a lot of other material this week as well, so WWE seems to be attempting to end the free April month with a bang.

Teens Rescue A Snake, You’ll Never Guess What The Snake Gave Them In Return [Video]

On April 24, YouTube member HelloCringle uploaded a video which is rapidly going viral with already over one million views. It shows the moment two teenagers rescue a snake and the astonishing after-effect of this rescue. Warning: The video does contain some profanity.

Almost like something out of a science fiction movie, it looks like the snake was so grateful at being rescued, it gave the guys a “gift.”

According to the Mirror Online, the two guys came across a snake, hopelessly entangled in some plastic netting and unable to escape. Being the Good Samaritans that they are, they decided to rescue the poor reptile.

They captured the whole event on a phone, on what is rapidly becoming a viral video (and for good reason).

We can watch as they carefully cut away the netting from around the snake, naturally using a stick to take extreme care not to get bitten for their trouble as the rescue a snake.

They finally clear all the plastic netting away and as they rescue a snake, the guys at first cheer, but then notice something strange is happening. At first they fear they have broken the snake’s jaw in their rescue attempts.

As one teen says, “I’m so sorry little snake,” the other says, “Hey, at least he survived still.”

Then they suddenly realize that the movement is the typical mouth dislocation of a snake, although under more normal circumstances this would be to take in food.

Rather than taking in nourishment the “grateful” snake appeared to be giving the teens a gift for freeing it. As something very strange starts protruding from the snake’s mouth, one of the guys, rather unusually, thinks it is an octopus.

However, as the object finally flops free from the snake’s mouth it becomes clear that it something else indeed. Both teens scream with awe and delight at what they called the “craziest moment of our lives.”

As they rescue a snake, they just wish they could have saved the critter that came out of its mouth. It probably wasn’t a gift from a grateful snake, however. According to 9News, probably completely stressed by the whole situation, the snake had merely regurgitated its lunch.

UFC Champ Jon ‘Bones’ Jones Wanted In Hit And Run Involving Pregnant Woman

Just four months after testing positive for cocaine, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is now being summoned by the Albuquerque Police Department for questioning. The UFC fighter was allegedly involved in a hit and run accident which sent a pregnant woman to the hospital for minor injuries.

Since his implication in the incident, the police department had difficulties getting a statement from Jones. The authorities have already attempted to contact Jones at his residence but to no avail. Likewise, they have also contacted the UFC fighter’s lawyer. His attorney has yet to respond.

Because of this, the City of Albuquerque published a press release calling out to Jones asking him to cooperate with the investigation. The press release also gives substantial information about the hit and run accident and the unidentified victim. In the press release, the authorities wrote, “The Albuquerque Police Department is actively seeking UFC Fighter Jon Jones for questioning in regards to his possible involvement in a hit-and-run accident, near the intersection of Juan Tabo and Southern, in Southeast Albuquerque early this morning, April 26, 2015.”

It continued, “A pregnant female in her 20s, who was the driver of a separate vehicle, was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.”

It is still unknown whether Jones was a passenger or the driver of the vehicle that rammed the pregnant woman’s car. There is also no confirmation if the UFC fighter was under the influence of illegal drugs.

Although no charges have been filed against Jones, he has now been upgraded as a suspect in the case. The court of Albuquerque will be issuing a summons which will give the UFC fighter four weeks to show up in court. If he fails to make an appearance, a warrant will be issued for his arrest.

UFC, aware of the issue involving one of its best fighters, released an official statement yesterday evening.

“We are aware that the Albuquerque Police Department is interested in speaking to Jon Jones regarding his possible involvement in a motor vehicle accident. We are in the process of gathering facts and will reserve further comment until more information is available.”

This is not the first time that Jon Jones was involved in a car accident. In 2012, the UFC fighter crashed his Bentley into a telephone pole in Binghamton, New York. He was charged with a DWI and his driver’s license was suspended. Luckily, Jones wasn’t penalized with imprisonment.

British Man Arrested For Urinating In An Ice Machine At Hard Rock Hotel Orlando

A British tourist was arrested in the early hours of last Tuesday morning for allegedly urinating in an ice machine at the popular and family-friendly Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

Another guest at the hotel apparently called a security guard because he or she saw (and no doubt heard) a very intoxicated man on the premises, and the security guard then allegedly caught the man in the act of urinating into an ice machine.

Andrew Wood, 41, who hails from Hampshire, England, would not at first cooperate with the security guard, refused to identify himself and then started shouting and generally making a commotion.

According to the Orlando Police Department, the security guard then called officers to the scene and on arrival they found Wood to be “extremely intoxicated, with the odor of alcohol emanating from him, and was having random outbursts”.

Following this, the British man was reportedly taken into custody for disorderly conduct, a part of which included urinating in an ice machine. Wood then apparently continued to rant and rave in a drunken fashion at the jail, according to the police.

Wood finally had to post a $1,000 bond and was released from the Orange County Jail later on Tuesday.

Urinating into an ice machine being not the most hygienic act, it can only be hoped that the machine was very thoroughly cleaned or replaced before guests needed to top up their drinks.

The tweet below points to a video that gives an idea of how you should behave at the Hard Rock Hotel, by leaving a pillow on the bed saying rather clearly, “Be Nice.”

Mind you, the idea seems to be doing the rounds, as the Inquisitr reports that a woman in India was caught in the act of urinating into a pot of tea she was about to serve to her in-laws.

The woman later admitted to having done this for years, as she disliked her husband’s relatives for interfering in her marriage.

Six PEN Members Decline Gala After Award for Charlie Hebdo

Sudden Wealth Might Destroy Charlie Hebdo

The decision by the PEN American Center to give its annual Freedom of Expression Courage award to the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo has caused at least six writers to withdraw as literary hosts at the group’s annual gala on May 5. Peter Carey, Michael Ondaatje, Francine Prose, Teju Cole, Rachel Kushner and Taiye Selasi have withdrawn from the gala, at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan.

Gerard Biard, Charlie Hebdo‘s editor in chief, and Jean-Baptiste Thoret, a Charlie Hebdo staff member who arrived late for work on Jan. 7 and missed the attack by Islamic extremists that killed 12 people, are scheduled to accept the award. In a letter sent earlier on Sunday to Pen trustees, current PEN American president Andrew Solomon acknowledged that several people were offended by some of Charlie Hebdo‘s cartoons, but added that PEN believed strongly in the “appropriateness” of the award.

“It is undoubtedly true that in addition to provoking violent threats from extremists, the Hebdo cartoons offended some other Muslims, as their cartoons offended members of the many other groups they targeted. But, based on their own statements, we believe that Charlie Hebdo‘s intent was not to ostracise or insult Muslims, but rather to reject forcefully the efforts of a small minority to place broad categories of speech off-limits, no matter the purpose, intent or import of the expression. We do not believe that any of us must endorse the contents of Charlie Hebdo‘s cartoons in order to affirm the principles for which they stand, or applaud the staff’s bravery in holding fast to those values in the face of life and death threats.”

Petter Carey, speaking in an email interview with The New York Times, has said that the PEN American Center is currently “blind” to the French nations “cultural arrogance” and shouldn’t be giving Charlie Hebdo the award.

“A hideous crime was committed, but was it a freedom-of-speech issue for PEN America to be self-righteous about? All this is complicated by PEN’s seeming blindness to the cultural arrogance of the French nation, which does not recognize its moral obligation to a large and disempowered segment of their population.”

Carey also said the award went beyond the Pen American Centers traditional role of protecting freedom of expression against government oppression. Soloman, while saying that he was not surprised by the controversy of the decision, has said that he was surprised by the “vehemence” with which people are reacting to it, as well as the fact that the writers decided to boycott the event less than two weeks beforehand.

Islamic State Takes Dam And Military Base In Iraq, Killing 127 Iraqi Troops

Islamic State takes dam in Iraq

Islamic State militant fighters have taken control of a water dam and the military barracks that were protecting it in Iraq on Saturday, Reuters reported.

The Islamic State fighters in the western Anbar province took the dam after a battle that lasted through the night, according to witnesses.

The battle with the Islamic State left 127 Iraqi troops killed. Among those killed were Brigadier General Hassan Abbas Toufan, who was the commander of the first army division in Iraq. General Toufan was killed on Friday when his convoy was ambushed by Islamic State fighters, Bloomberg reported.

Islamic State fighters attacked the al-thirthar dam with vehicles packed with explosives.

During the battle, dozens of Iraqi soldiers were killed. Communication problems made it difficult to know exactly how many were killed in the fighting.

A video made by the Islamic State show the fighters moving around the dam freely. The black flag of the Islamic State in Iraq was also seen in the video footage flying above a radio tower. Two bodies could also be seen in the footage. The bodies were apparently members of the Iraqi military forces.

The video was posted online by the Islamic State on their official media site.

The Iraqi government has said that they may not be able to take back the dam anytime soon.

The deputy head of the Anbar provincial council, Faleh al-Issawi said about the dam,

“It’s unlikely now the Iraqi defense ministry could be able to retake the dam from the group soon,”

Despite that, the Iraqi government said that they were conducting a new offensive against the Islamic State later this month. The new offensive was meant to recapture parts of the Anbar province. Which have been beneficial in the retaking of Tikrit, The Inquisitr reported.

Iraqi forces have also been conducting a military operation to take back the Tharthar Dam near Fallujah. That dam controls the water flow from the lakes of Tharthar and Habaniya.

Intelligence reports say that the Islamic State may have opened one of the dam’s gates, according to U.S. officials. Darkness, though, has mad it difficult to find out how much water was released and if there has been any flooding.

The attack shows how deadly the Islamic State still is in the Anbar province, which is populated mainly by Sunni Muslims.

Ahmed al-Dulaimi said that 40 Iraqi soldiers had been captured by the Islamic State. It is feared that the captive troops may be executed later by the Islamic State fighters. al-Dulaimi is a tribal leader who has been fighting the Islamic State in the Anbar province.

The Islamic State is also responsible for three suicide car bombings in the western side of the Anbar province on Saturday. The car bombings took place at a checkpoint on the Iraq-Jordan border. The bombing killed three Iraqi troops and wounded ten others.

Ed Sheeran Hits New Heights As Taylor Swift Helps Him Pick Up Girls

Newly single Ed Sheeran has revealed that he has an ace up his sleeve when it comes to meeting girls. Ed, who split from longtime girlfriend Athina Andrelos last month, sparked rumors that he might be dating Taylor Swift but Sheeran has revealed that Taylor is in fact his “wing-man.” According to the Mirror Ed Sheeran has told an Australian radio program that Taylor Swift is helping him to meet girls.

Speaking on Australian radio program the Kyle And Jackie O Show 24-year-old singer Ed Sheeran confirmed that he and girlfriend Athina Andrelos recently ended their relationship. Sheeran also said that his good pal Taylor is actually really good at helping him meet new potential partners. Talking about Taylor Swift, Ed claimed that “she’s a brilliant wing-man.”

According to Music News however Sheeran admits that Taylor is no match for another of his pals, Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne. Ed admits that he is in awe of Shane Warne‘s pick up skills. Sheeran said “He’s hugely impressive. It’s an art form with him.”

It seems that Ed Sheeran isn’t about to start playing the field however. Ed say’s that he comes from a family that sticks together through thick and thin. Ed claimed that he is “from a family where you find a partner and stick with them.” So it seems that Sheeran is on the lookout for someone to settle down with.

Away from his love life Ed Sheeran has passed to very impressive musical milestones in the past week. According to the Official Charts Company Sheeran’s super-romantic love song “Thinking Out Loud” has become one of the biggest selling UK single releases of all time as it passed the one million sales milestone. Ed’s single has become an unofficial wedding anthem and the singer recently turned up at an Australian couples wedding to sing the track live for them after he heard about the couple struggles to raise the cash to get married.

If that wasn’t a big enough milestone Ed Sheeran is also the most streamed artist on Spotify and last week he passed an amazing milestone after he hit the two billion streams milestone. Sheeran’s feat is all the more amazing when you consider that his back catalog extends to just two albums. Sheeran released his first album “+” in 2011 and “X” in 2014. The single “The A Team” from his debut album also passed the one million sales mark.

‘The Voice': Lee Brice To Perform No. 1 Hit ‘Drinking Class’

During the Tuesday night episode of The Voice, Lee Brice will bring just a little more country flavor to the competition show. During The Voice results episode, Brice is expected to sing his hit song “Drinking Class,” according to the official Twitter feed of The Voice.

Brice confirmed the report when he had this to say to Rolling Stone Country during a recent interview:

“I’m a big fan of The Voice and tune in any time I can. I’m excited to perform ‘Drinking Class’ on Tuesday, and it’ll be a blast getting to see my buddy, Blake.”

It won’t be the last time Blake Shelton and Brice team up this summer. In June, Brice and Shelton, who is a judge on The Voice, are both expected to perform in Columbus at the Buckeye Country Fest.

“Drinking Class” is currently the No. 1 song on the Mediabase Country Singles chart. During the week, Brice’s song beat out Dierk’s Bentley’s “Say You Do” for the top spot. On the Country Billboard chart, Brice’s song is ranked No. 4.

“Drinking Class” is the second single from Brice’s I Don’t Dance album. Rolling Stone Country called the song Brice’s effort to “avoid being pigeonholed as a balladeer.” The song is melodic and somewhat more upbeat than Brice’s previous single, also called “I Don’t Dance.”

Brice’s performance on The Voice has been called one of the more anticipated performances of the season, and with the recent success of his song, excitement for his performance on The Voice has only been growing.

As mentioned in the previous tweet, Brice is expected to perform on The Voice with Top 8 contestant Corey Kent White. Like many fans, Corey Kent White shared his excitement Saturday via Twitter.

Brice will be just one of a few big names to appear on The Voice this week. During the Monday night episode, former judges Usher, Gwen Stefani and CeeLo Green are expected to make appearances in order to mentor contestants.

The Tuesday night episode of The Voice, featuring Lee Brice, will begin at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.

Ex Machina Review

Oscar Isaac and Alicia Vikander at the premiere of their new film Ex Machina

Ex Machina starring Alicia Vikander, Oscar Isaac, and Domhnall Gleeson was a pleasant surprise. It keeps you on your toes with many twists and turns, at the same time it is a very memorable film. This film is filled with marvelous acting that blurs the line between humanity and programming.

This motion picture takes place in the near-future, where young and talented computer coder Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson) is working for the most powerful company and search engine in the world, called Blue Book. Caleb is selected to assist in a “Turing Test” like experiment. Caleb travels to a remote area to a research facility, to meet the company’s drunken but, genius CEO, Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac) for a visit that would last a week. When Caleb meets his employer, he realizes that Nathan has become obsessive and deranged by his lengthy experiment.

Isaac and Gleeson are set to star together in the next installment of the Star Wars series, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

When Nathan reveals the purpose of Caleb’s visit, Caleb is originally very uncomfortable and in fear but, he dismisses these original feelings in favor of aiding a colossal scientific discovery. Nathan has been working on an advanced artificial intelligence deep inside his compound named Ava (Alicia Vikander). Nathan has brought Caleb in as a consultant and so he can execute a successful Turing Test. For Ava to pass, she needs to be to undetectable as an A.I.

Ex Machina is the directorial debut for Alex Garland, who wrote 28 Days Later. In a recent interview with Newsweek, Garland said of the film”It was really a very, very easy film to work on.” Watching this movie, you would expect a director to say the exact opposite.

Certain moviegoers could be suspicious that a freshman director could develop such a thought-provoking and visually stunning film, like Ex Machina. After seeing this film, suspicion is one of the few feelings that should be absent.

The title of the film is one thing I didn’t understand while watching the movie, until I researched and found that it is a play on a latin phrase “deus ex machina” meaning “a god from the machine” which is how Caleb sees Nathan throughout most of the movie.

Ex Machina first caught crowds eyes, with their eye-catching trailer released on October 30,2014, as reported by The Inquisitr. It is currently in the lead for scene of the year, as reported by Vanity Fair. In this scene Nathan and one of his A.I.’s do a highly choreographed dance break.

Ex Machina is a must see film not just for Sci-Fi fans but moviegoers who like any genre.

‘Katy Perry’ Chants “Not Sexist” Says NHLs Gary Bettman

Gary Bettman, the Commissioner of the NHL, has said that he doesn’t believe Winnipeg Jets fans were being “sexist in the slightest” by comparing Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry to pop singer Katy Perry. The Sporting News‘ Jesse Spector asked Bettman whether he feared chants of ‘Katy Perry’ directed at Anaheim Ducks star Corey Perry might be off putting to female fans, whilst noting that fans also taunt Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins with “Princess Crosby.” You can see a video of the ‘Katy Perry’ chants below.

Gary Bettman, without missing a beat, responded that it wasn’t really that sexist, arguing that he didn’t see how anybody could see it as sexist. He also argued that the ‘Katy Perry’ insult was similar to calling a goalie a ‘sieve.’

“You think that’s sexist? Taunting chants aren’t intended to be sexist.”

Sports Illustrated’s Sarah Kwak took issue with this comparison, noting that “sieves don’t have feelings”, before bringing up the question at hand.

“You don’t see how taunting a player by calling them a woman could be sexist?”

Whilst arguing that he sees the point of her question, Gary Bettman continued to argue that, regardless of whether or not he sees it as sexist, there was nothing that he, nor anyone else at the NHL, could do about it.

“I see the point but I don’t think it’s overly literal. Short of gagging everyone who comes to a game I’m not sure we can stifle that.”

Fans of Katy Perry, as well as of Corey Perry and the NHL, have taken to Twitter in order to voice their opinions on the matter. Some were of the opinion that the chants weren’t exactly a big deal, while others took the opposite point of view, arguing that the NHL needed to do something, anything, in order to change this.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry is rumoured to be back together with John Mayer after they were spotted together, and she recently has been denied a design trademark for Left Shark.

Robert Herjavec And Kym Johnson: ‘Get A Room’ Or Just Sexy On ‘Dancing With The Stars’?

Perhaps the biggest shock of Monday’s Dancing With the Stars was that Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson were quickly declared safe when the results were announced. It was Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy facing off against Willow Shields and Mark Ballas for the elimination spot. Shockingly, the likable, high-scoring Shields and her dedicated partner Ballas saw their journey end.

This was despite Robert and Kym’s comparatively low judges’ scores. Monday night’s Argentine tango showcased Robert and Kym’s strongest asset: chemistry. While Herjavec was praised early on in the competition for his good-natured attitude and joy at being on the dance floor, the couple has increasingly turned up the heat.

After Monday’s program, Glamour blogger Jessica Radloff noted that the performance had clear romantic undertones.

“Did any of you guys feel you were watching something you shouldn’t be? If that’s what they’re doing on national TV, I don’t want to even think about what’s going on behind closed doors.”

Host Tom Bergeron called it “our get-a-room dance of the night.”

Radloff also revealed she saw Robert and Kym lock lips at the Race to Erase MS Gala on Friday. At that event Herjavec apparently let slip he’s taking Johnson on vacation. As Radloff tells it, Robert looked lovingly on as Kym posed by herself for photographers.

Some commentators seemed fine with Robert and Kym’s overt affection during Monday’s tango, performed to a slowed-down version of the 80s song “Word Up” by Cameo. TV Fanatic called them “cute” and approved of the more-than-meets-the-eye implication.

“There is obviously more going on there than their relationship as dance partners, and it’s adorable.”

Others, however, were less enthusiastic. ET Online called Robert and Kym’s “touchy feely” dance one of the worst moments of the evening.

“Yeah, we get it, you guys want to… It doesn’t need to be the focus of every dance, and it’s awkward. Like when you’re hanging out at a party and your friends are making out right next to you. Just get a room.”

The assessment of BuddyTV was that Robert and Kym should get a 10 for the tango if it is judged solely on its romantic elements.

Donald Trump Points Finger To Obama Over Riots

Donald Trump believes he may have found the person responsible for the ongoing riots in Baltimore. And it should come as no surprise that the person Trump is blaming is President Barack Obama.

Trump took to Twitter late Monday night to share his thoughts on the Baltimore riots. One of the posts he made pointed the finger at Obama.

That remark from Trump did draw some criticism.

Trump’s other comments about the Baltimore riots weren’t exactly outlandish, but they were more of a plea for something to make the riots stop.

Trump is no stranger when it comes to criticizing Obama. Last month, the Inquisitr reported that Trump had plans to make a bid for the White House, saying America is in “serious trouble.”

“Americans deserve better than what they get from their politicians who are all talk and no action.”

Donald Trump has announced previously that he had plans for a presidential run, but he never followed through. That might change this time, since he declined to renew his contract for the NBC reality series, The Apprentice.

While he hasn’t officially announced if he’s running or not, one reporter for WTVR in Virginia said Donald Trump sounded like he was just about to do so at a fundraiser in Richmond. At the fundraiser, Trump not only called the Obama administration “incompetent,” but he also started laying out details on what needed to be done on a variety of topics.

“We have to do something to save our country. [It’s] going to hell.”

John Stamos Isn't Happy About Olsen Twins' Fuller House Comments

John Stamos played the coolest uncle ever on Full House, but the actresses who played his niece probably won’t be welcome in Stamos’ new, fuller house.

According to E! News, John Stamos recently shared his feelings about some comments Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen made about the Full House spin-off. The Olsen twins both played Michelle Tanner on the original series, and many fans hoped that at least one of them would return to star in the sequel. However, Stamos seems pretty irritated with the sisters.

John Stamos is executive producing the Fuller House series, and he recently announced that the show had been picked up by Netflix. During an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen were asked to comment on his announcement.

“We just found out about it… I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening… I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John (Stamos),” Mary-Kate said. Ashley Olsen also claimed that her TV dad, Bob Saget, said nothing to her about it the last time she talked to him.

Stamos recently tweeted a link to a Canoe article about the Olsen twins’ interview, and, in his response to their comments, he seems to insinuate that the girls were feigning ignorance when asked about Fuller House. In other words, he likely tried to reach out to them about starring in the series.

Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Andrea Barber are all returning to star in the series, and John Stamos will guest star in it. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lori Loughlin is in talks to join the show as Uncle Jesse’s wife, Aunt Becky.

John Stamos might be done trying to get the Olsen twins to star on the show, but Loughlin had an idea about who could play the older version of Michelle Tanner — she suggested that their look-alike younger sister Elizabeth Olsen should star on Fuller House if neither twin is interested in joining the show. However, Elizabeth Olsen is scoring roles in big movies like The Avengers: Age of Ultron, so she might not have time for the Netflix series.

John Stamos’ spin-off isn’t the only Full House project in the works. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lifetime is working on an unauthorized Full House tell-all movie in the same vein as The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story movie that aired last year. The TV movie will be about the Full House cast’s struggle to “balance idyllic family life on the show with the more complicated reality of their own lives outside the series.” One Direction fans better start the campaign to get Zayn Malik cast as John Stamos.

Stamos also tweeted his thoughts about the Full House Lifetime movie.

Uncle Jesse clearly has no mercy for anyone who threatens the Full House legacy.

You can check out John Stamos’ announcement about Fuller House below. He reveals that the Netflix series will start out as a reunion show. However, the series will mainly focus on D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).

During a recent interview Entertainment Weekly, Jodie Sweetin revealed that Steph and Kimmy will still hate each other, and they’ll be living with a pregnant, widowed D.J. and her two sons. The show will premiere on Netflix sometime next year.

Back in October paparazzi snapped a picture of Bruce Jenner in his vehicle. A report followed that noted his red nail polish, clearly photographed through his car window as the former Olympian grasped a cigarette. The story was repeated a day later, noting that Jenner’s polish had disappeared. This was at a time when Jenner was staying private about his gender transition.

In April, mere weeks before his already-taped sit-down with Diane Sawyer was broadcast, another website published paparazzi pictures of Jenner. Again, the red polish was the headline.

In Jenner’s landmark interview with Diane Sawyer last Friday, he revealed what he’s looking forward to the most now that he has gone public with his life story. It is a very simple fashion statement.

“[To] be able to have my nail polish on long enough that it actually chips off.”

Now, an Australian DJ is credited with starting an online campaign for men to paint their nails in support of Bruce. People are taking pics of their colorful nails and uploading them to social media with the hashtag #PaintYourNailsForBruce.

Kiis 106.5 on-air personalities Kyle and Jackie O have been collecting the pictures on the station’s website. Some well known people such as ‘NSYNC’s Lance Bass got in on the action.

Kiis 106.5 went all out for the campaign, offering free polish jobs at the radio studio. They went to Sydney’s Central station and did the nails of supportive commuters of all genders.

During the Sawyer interview Jenner revealed that, when news of his tracheal shave leaked to paparazzi, he contemplated suicide.

“That night, I thought, ‘It’s over.’ I was walking up and down this hall back and forth all night long. Heart pounding. I thought, ‘Wouldn’t the easiest thing to do right now is go in the other room, get a gun. Pain is over. Done. Go to a better place.”

Jenner’s thoughts eventually changed to, “I can’t do something like that. I want to know how this story ends.”

He also told Diane Sawyer that he was not doing the interview for publicity. He wants to make a difference.

“We’re going to change the world. What I’m doing is going to do some good. And we’re going to change the world.”

11-Week-Old Baby Becomes Ill After Drinking Milk Two Weeks Out-Of-Date Sold By London Supermarket Tesco

An 11-week-old baby, Georgie, quickly becoame ill after drinking milk that was two weeks out-of-date; milk that was sold by a supermarket in London called Tesco.

According to Mirror, 31-year-old Samantha Hunter purchased a milk product from Cow and Gate – a company that focuses on providing nutrition for growth and development in little children -, which her mom suggested.

Once she returned from Tesco, she fed her baby the milk product she had just purchased.

“After that I went to my mother’s to feed Georgie and my mum said the bottles were handy and then she asked how long they keep for,” said Hunter.

“I checked the bottle and it was dated April 2, which was over two weeks out of date. My first thought was for Georgie, and I called Cow & Gate to speak to the nutritionist who wanted to know why the milk was still on the shelf.”

Hunter was highly upset after noticing she had just given her baby milk that was two weeks out-of-date, she decided to call the company and inform them that they were selling old milk.

“I rang Tesco and spoke to the head office and told them I’d just purchased this milk and wanted to make the store aware it was old and being given to new babies,” Hunter said.

After getting off the phone with Tesco, she noticed a change in Georgie later that afternoon. She stated that he wouldn’t eat anymore and wasn’t being himself.

“He had an upset tummy and was only drinking bits of his milk. His child-minder also reported it and said he was really not himself.”

“Another mum might have taken this milk to hospital, ready to give her newborn baby.”

Hunter believes that his appetite and behavior changed as a result of giving her baby out-of-date milk. She feared that if he was a newborn, his condition may have been a lot worse.

A Tesco spokesman responded after learning their store was selling out-of-date products. He stated as follows.

“We are committed to the highest standards of food safety for our customers and we have robust procedures for the rotation and date code checking.”

“We’re sorry that we did not meet those standards in this case. We’re urgently investigating how this mistake happened and our colleagues will be speaking to Samantha as soon as possible.”

Hunter went public with her story because she wanted to “raise awareness to other mums to always check the baby milk.”

One mom is making headlines for her unconventional intervention with a 14-year-old boy who stole from her daughter. According to CBS-58, Latrisha Thompson‘s daughter was waiting for the school bus when the teenage boy pushed her down and stole her cell phone. Like any parent, Thompson was mortified and outraged. So, she decided to track down the bullying thief. Apparently, the phone has a built-in GPS locator, so it wasn’t difficult to find him.

Now, her reaction after finding him has gone viral. The two-minute clip uploaded to World Star Hip Hop on Apr. 22 shows Thompson holding the boy in a headlock as she waits for police. Although she regrets the explicit language she used in the clip, she explained her adrenaline-fueled actions during a recent interview with the local news station.

“Mama bear came out,” she explained in a recent interview.

Throughout the video, she can be heard spewing expletives at the young bully while holding him in a headlock. She stated that she would hold him until police arrived. Thompson and the bully go

“Ya’ll don’t put your (profanity) hands on my (profanity) child,” Thompson yelled in the video. “It ain’t (profanity) sweet.”

“I got asthma,” the boy said.

“I don’t give a (profanity) what you got,” she replied. “My child got asthma. You didn’t give a (profanity).”

But, unlike other videos where parents have been seen fighting with teens, Thompson’s intentions were quite different. Instead of fighting with the young boy, she insisted that she was doing him a favor. She lectured him about the consequences of the risks he takes and how he could end up if he came across the wrong person.

Based on the decisions he’s making at such a young age, he could one day end up dead or behind bars. She wants him to do better. Although she’s aware of how dangerous it was to confront the teen, she adamantly insisted that she could not allow her child to be victimized.

“If you see a crime occurring, you don’t have to physically get involved,” she said. “You can still whip out your phone, call give a description of the suspect, say where you see this crime happening at. It’s my job to nurture and protect my child. Now I’m feeling I’m failing her because I can’t make her safe,” said Thompson. “We’ve gotta get these criminals off the streets.”

Protests Continue After Death Of Baltimore Man While In Police Custody

Baltimore gang members have played a major role in the racially-charged riots that have taken place in wake of Freddie Gray’s death. There have been several reports about the Black Guerrilla Family, Bloods and Crips putting aside their difference to demand “Justice for Freddie.” It has also been reported that the rival gangs have collectively decided to form an alliance targeting police officers.

According to the New York Post, the Baltimore Police Department announced on Monday, April 27, that “credible threats” had been received from the three notable gangs. “Bloods, Crips and Black Guerrilla Family street gangs have entered into a partnership to take out law enforcement officers,” the publication reported. Photos have even surfaced on Twitter with the Bloods and Crips in their respective colors holding up gang signs in solidarity with the Nation of Islam.

Needless to say, many Baltimore citizens have no desire to be anywhere near gang-affiliated protests. However, one reporter has shed light on a courageous act of bravery by the Bloods. Since there have been numerous reports about injured reports and photo journals, its no secret that the streets of Baltimore are unsafe. So, the Bloods decided to make sure this reporter was not harmed.

According to the International Journal Review, Ben Jacobs, a political reporter for The Guardian recently shared details about his interaction with the Bloods via Twitter. He actually thanked unnamed members of the notable gang for help. Bottles were reportedly being thrown in his direction and they opted to stand guard to ensure he wasn’t hurt in the midst of all the chaos. Jacobs also stated that, contrary to recent reports, gang members have actually played a key role in maintaining order.

The fairly different tweets have caught the attention of thousands via Twitter. Of course, Jacobs’ claims have been met with opposition. Many social media users have questioned the meaning of Jacobs’ tweet about gang members playing an “important role” in keeping order considering the city’s unrest and the “credible threats” issued to the Baltimore Police Department. But, nevertheless, Jacobs has stated that the tweets are based on his personal interaction with the gang.

Honus Wagner Super Rare Baseball Card Sold For Over A $1 Million

The incredibly rare Honus Wagner baseball card was auctioned off for millions of dollars on Sunday, according to Bleacher Report.

The Honus Wagner baseball card, which sold for an unbelievable $1.32 million, is one of only about 200 T206 cards that were produced from 1909 to 1911, CNBC reported.

The main reason for the rarity of the baseball cards stems from Honus Wagner’s negative feelings toward the sale of the card that bore his likeness and which were sold in packs of cigarettes. Wagner was against the idea of his baseball card being sold with cigarettes because it sent a bad message to his child-fan base. Wagner quickly had the company selling the cards to stop producing them.

Darren Rovell, of ESPN.com said about the history of the Houns Wagner baseball card,

“Legend has it that fewer than 200 cards of the Hall of Fame shortstop were produced because Wagner was not happy with the card’s producer the American Tobacco Company and the smoking message it sent to children. Wagner, however, smoked and endorsed cigars, leading some to believe he was merely upset with not being paid for his image.”

The winning bid was $1.1 million after 42 bids. A 20 percent buyer’s premium raised the sale price to $1.32 million.

The company that organized the auction, Robert Edwards Auctions, said about sale of the Honus Wagner baseball card:

“This is a phenomenal-looking card in all respects that elicits a positive and awed response from everyone who sees it… The colors are noticeably brighter, fresher and bolder than virtually every other T206 Wagner in existence. The image is perfect and it shows just enough honest wear to give it character but not serve as a distraction in any way.”

Robert Edwards Auctions said about the quality of the Honus Wagner baseball card:

“This is a particularly strong T206 Wagner that far exceeds that condition and visual appeal usually found with T206 Wagners. This is very easily seen just by looking at the card, but it is further confirmed when one evaluates the known T206 Wagner population as documented by the PSA and SGC population reports. The offered card is one of only four examples graded at this level by PSA with three additional VG examples graded by SGC.”

Honus Wagner is regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time. Wagner was a member of the very first Hall of Fame of Baseball induction class in 1936 along with the likes of Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth.

Wagner played 21 seasons, 18 of which he played with the Pittsburgh Pirates, playing from 1897 to 1917 during the dead-ball era.

Though $1.32 million is a huge amount of money for any baseball card, it is still not the highest sum spent on a T206 Honus Wagner baseball card. The 1909 T206 Wagner card became the most valuable baseball card ever, The Inquisitr reported. In 2007, a near mint condition T206 Wagner baseball card sold for $2.8 million. It was the highest sum for any baseball card ever sold.

Meghan rocked the Big Top at Luna Park, Sydney on Monday as the 21-year-old paraded her hit tunes, her shapely curves, and buckets full of old-school pop charm. Meghan Trainor connected with the near sell-out crowd, noticing their signs and even remembering to name check fans she had met during a pre-show meet and greet.

Meghan Trainor shot to stardom in 2014 when her mega-hit “All About That Bass” reached No 1 in no fewer than 58 Countries and became one of the best selling singles of all time with over six million copies sold to date. Ironically, Trainor only decided to release the song herself after it was turned down by the likes of Beyonce and Adele.

Trainor was initially thought to be something of an unlikely pop star, but she has become identified as a role model for teens who are struggling with body image. The Guardian called Meghan “a poster girl for larger women” while Fashion Times wrote that Trainor “inspired many women to embrace their curves.” Trainor has recently been blasted by some critics who called her current hit “Dear Future Husband” sexist.

According to the Daily Mail, Meghan Trainor showed Sydney-siders on Monday that she rocks those curves as she looked sensational performing in a black sequined top with a mesh front and a blue mini skirt. According to Fox Australia, Meghan connected with her Aussie fans by noticing their signs, dancing along with them and taking selfies.

Meghan surely made the night for a young couple she had met at the pre-show meet-and-greet when she dedicated a love song to them, she remembered their names and told them to stay together forever. How cute is that?

Fox praises Trainor as much for her image as for her performance saying that “Meghan is the type of artist that you want your child to idolize, with her constant pro-body image messages and teaching everyone to love yourself.” At one point during the show, Meghan asked the audience to “raise your hands if you are beautiful,” and the whole audience did. Fox praise the powerful and positive message that Meghan Trainor sends through these small gestures.

Meghan Trainor may be slightly kitsch and even a little cheesy, but as the Guardian points, out her performances are energetic, fun and full of old-school charm. Meghan Trainor knows her audience and her music sends a powerful and positive message to those fans. Learn to love yourself!

Ailsa ‘Lisa’ Jackson: U.S. Army Soldier’s Mistress Arrested For Brutally Killing His Wife

On Nov. 15, 2014, Cathy Walker was found stabbed to death with her throat slashed inside her home on the Aliamanu Military Reservation on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It was reported that her husband Mike found her lifeless body inside the home, and he was initially a suspect, but the investigation returned little evidence that would suggest the 36-year-old army media killed his wife. Now, five months after her death, new details about the case have emerged. Local authorities have discovered that her death may be the result of a twisted love triangle.

According to the Daily Mail, the woman arrested for Walker’s murder is reportedly her husband’s mistress, Ailsa ‘Lisa’ Jackson. Although the Walkers appeared to be picture-perfect pair on the outside, they struggled with marital issues behind closed doors.

At the time of Cathy’s death, Mike was reportedly having an affair with Lisa. She was reportedly living in the same neighborhood as the Walkers at the time of the murder. However, she’d recently relocated to Fort Wayne, IN where she was arrested by FBI agents on Sunday, Apr. 26.

According to the three-page federal indictment, investigators have cited that the murder was “premeditated and required substantial planning,” reports the Star Advertiser. However, no specific details about Jackson’s connection and relationship with Mike have been released

Ailsa ‘Lisa’ Jackson has been charged first-degree murder for the stabbing death of Cathy Walker. Jackson will remain in custody until she is extradited back to Hawaii. Authorities have stated that Mike Walker is no longer a murder suspect. However, further investigation will determine whether or not he had knowledge of the crime prior to his wife’s death. Since the murder happened on a military base, there is a possibility U.S. Attorney in Hawaii could seek the death penalty if Jackson is convicted.
