San Francisco residents looking to rent a small studio apartment are going to be in for a shock.

The jaw-dropping San Francisco rent prices were highlighted in a recent flyer submitted to Yahoo Finance. The paper shows a listing of apartments in different parts of San Francisco, with the cheapest being a downtown studio apartment at $2,495 a month and the most expensive a two-bedroom apartment in Russian Hill for $6,995 a month.

The list included houses in some of the trendier neighborhoods in San Francisco but also places where prices were once much lower.

In the last five years the city, already priced as the highest in the county, has seen rent prices skyrocket as an influx of high-paid tech workers have driven up the cost of living. The median price for a one-bedroom apartment is now $3,460 a month, while studio apartments are listed for as much as $3,800 a month depending on location.

At a time when other cities are starting to see rent prices decline a bit, San Francisco rent prices are breaking records, notes the Zumper real estate blog:

San Francisco remained the most expensive market in the United States for the ninth straight month, with median 1-bedroom rents rising to $3,460, the highest ever recorded. The gain was particularly notable considering that NYC, the second most expensive market, saw rents plateau in February, even after a slight drop of 3.2% in January. Boston maintained its third place position, despite a 4.2% drop to $2,300.

Though the prices may be astronomical, there are many San Francisco residents left with no other choice.

Nicole Jones is one of those people. The single mother lost her job, and was forced to move into a single car garage along with her 18-month old daughter while she looked for a new one.

Jones was able to find a job eventually, but with rent prices exploding she was forced to stay in the garage. The apartment is so small that she has barely enough room for her kitchen and some essential furniture, and Jones has to enter by opening the entire front door.

Her rent for that 250-square-foot space — $1,000 a month.

“This is pretty much all I could get.” Jones told CNN.

The San Francisco rent prices would be out of reach of most of the average workers. Many landlords require that tenants have an annual income that’s at least 40 times their monthly rent, so they would need to make roughly $100,000 a year just to afford the smallest studio apartment.

A jet managed to skid completely off the runway on Thursday at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. The mishap is blamed on the bad weather brought on by Winter Storm Thor. The Delta Air Lines jetliner was carrying 130 passengers, including five crew members. The time of the incident was reported as 11:10 a.m.

The jet had arrived at LaGuardia following a morning flight from Atlanta. Although the plane managed to land, the Delta jetliner was unable to come to a complete stop. The plane skid off the runway and crashed through a fence.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and are said to still be on the scene. National Transportation Safety Board members were also reported as heading to LaGuardia. The Federal Aviation Administration announced that the airport is currently closed.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported as a result of the crash. All passengers were quickly evacuated from the jet and taken by bus to the terminal.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Joe Pentangelo stated that the plane was leaking fuel.

According to Aaron Smith, who was a passenger on the jet, the left wing of the plane was sheared off during the rocky landing at LaGuardia Airport.

When asked how he felt after the startling incident, Smith replied that he was “a little shaken up”.

“I don’t think [the crash] is going to sink in until tomorrow.”

New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell was also on the Delta jetliner in question.

“I’m blessed to be safe and sound after our plane skidded off the runway at LaGuardia Airport today. I feel fine physically and hopefully all the other passengers did not have any significant injuries. We were all shocked and alarmed when the plane started to skid, but most importantly, as far as I know, all of the passengers and flight crew were able to exit the plane safely.”

Officials are continuing to investigate at LaGuardia Airport in an effort to reach an official conclusion as to what went wrong. For now, the unofficial consensus is that the horrible weather is to blame.

Technician Mike Romps of the New York City Emergency Medical Service arrived not too long after the plane went off the runway. According to Romps, the jet landed in “blizzard-like” conditions. The technician said that visibility couldn’t have been more than “30 yards, tops”.

Images of the runway show that there is a lot of snow and ice to contend with, which combined with visibility issues currently makes for a very unsafe situation.

The FAA expects that LaGuardia Airport will reopen at approximately 7 p.m. as this is the same time that the winter storm warning is expected to be lifted.

When Houska started dating Cole, he must have known who she was and that she had a daughter with a different man. But it sounds like Cole has fit right into the life Chelsea has created for herself.

In various social media posts, Cole has been bonding with Aubree, who may love having a man to look up to now that her father has been missing in action for so much of her life. In addition, Houska may love that Cole absolutely adores both her and her daughter. He has been doing renovations on her home in South Dakota, and he has been working with Chelsea to create a home for her.

Apparently, Chelsea Houska has not allowed Cole to move in with her yet, and it is possible that she wants to protect her daughter from this relationship. Maybe she just wants to be sure before she makes a big decision. Or maybe Adam Lind is causing troubles for her, even though he moved on and got another woman pregnant without consulting Chelsea.

Actress Susan Sarandon has called it splits with her much-younger, boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin because she was sick of filming reality show that he was said to be enthusiastic about continuing, according to a report by the Page Six column of The New York Post Wednesday.

The 68-year-old Sarandon, best known for her starring roles in the now-iconic 1991 film Thelma and Louise as well as in the 1975 cult-classic Rocky Horror Picture Show, met the 37-year-old Bricklin on a vacation in Chile about five years ago. Bricklin is the heir to an automobile fortune from his father independent auto manufacturer and importer Malcolm Bricklin — who at age 75 is only seven years older than Sarandon.

Sarandon has been involved in a string of high-profile romances throughout her career, starting with actor Chris Sarandon — most famous for his role as Al Pacino’s transgendered wife in another 1975 cinema classic, Dog Day Afternoon. After her first marriage broke up, the Queens, New York, native born Susan Tomalin kept the surname “Sarandon” and has used it professionally ever since.

She has been romantically involved with rock star David Bowie, French art-film director Louis Malle and Italian director Franco Amurri with whom she had a daughter, Eva Amurri, who appeared in the Showtime series Californication, among other TV roles.

Sarandon’s longest-standing relationship was with actor Tim Robbins, with whom she was together from 1988 to 2009. Though never marrying, the couple parented two sons.

Sarandon took up with Bricklin soon after her split with Robbins, but now according to Page Six, the inter-generational romance has ended due to a reality show helmed by Super Size Me filmmaker Morgan Spurlock.

The online show, Connected, involved Spurlock giving cameras to six prominent New York couples and allowing them to film their own daily lives. But while Bricklin was excited about the project, Sarandon quickly grew weary of the apparent privacy invasion, telling Bricklin, “You’re a cast member. I’m not,” according to a source who spoke to Page Six.

Sarandon had earlier asserted that she and Bricklin were “not an ordinary couple” and that the two did nor actually live together.

Susan Sarandon said that her attraction to the much younger Bricklin, the founder of a trendy New York nightspot where celebrities and members of the city’s fashion elite gather to play ping pong, was based on his “soul.” But that attraction appears to have cooled now that Bricklin has become the latest in the Bull Durham star’s series of romantic splits.

What would prompt a Florida mom to make her boy jump out of a window at gunpoint? Police in Pinellas County were on the scene when a “distraught” mother — possibly suicidal — forced her 7-year-old child to leap out of a second-story window of their home before jumping on top of him, according to a USA Today news report on the Thursday morning incident.

St. Petersburg police officers received a 911 call about a woman who identified herself as 32-year-old Michelle Vail. She complained of someone, possibly a lover, being at her front door and making threats to kill her. Police arrived a short time later, but the woman didn’t open the door over her fears that she didn’t think they were real cops. Meanwhile, officers did not see any person lurking around the home.

Just before they were about to depart the residence, police heard frantic screams from inside, which gave them authority to force their way into the home. At about the same time, officers heard the sound of glass breaking and more screams.

Their attention then turned to a child on the ground outside the residence. Apparently, the mom made the boy jump. Armed with a shotgun, she then leaped out of the same window and landed on top of her son. They both were raced to a local hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Police managed to speak with the mom during their investigation and learned that she was “distraught” about a personal matter. It’s unknown if she was under the influence of medication or some other substance at the time she made the boy jump out the window. However, investigators learned the child was compelled to leap out of the second-story window because he was forced at gunpoint. His mom said a serial killer was at the home and they need to escape immediately.

A search of the home produced a large knife, shotgun and handgun. Not much is known about Vail except she has never had any contact with local law enforcement. The boy and mom recently moved from Ormond Beach in Florida.

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office CPI Division (Child Protection) is investigating the incident. Part of the probe involves what made the woman force the boy to jump from the window at gunpoint. Other blanks in the case involve her mental history and whether there is a person romantically involved with the woman who could shed light on the case.

Kanye West certainly made Beyoncé look bad at the Grammys by almost interrupting the show when she didn’t win. If you don’t recall, Beck won Album of the Year with Morning Phase. Kanye West rushed to the stage and then turned back to avoid another situation like the one with Taylor Swift back in 2009. Still, a lot of people criticized him and claimed that unlike Beyoncé, Beck is a real songwriter and musician.

It may come as a shock to Kanye West that Beck’s father, David Campbell, worked with Beyoncé on the album B’Day back in 2006. According to the Huffington Post, Campbell is credited for the string arrangement and conducting on B’Day. According to Campbell’s MTV biography, he specifically contributed to fan favorite “Listen.”

The Toronto Star perfectly summarizes Campbell‘s significance.

“Toronto-born David Campbell may not be as publically renowned as his son, but as an arranger, orchestrator, conductor and sometimes session player, he’s appeared on some of the biggest albums of the past five decades.”

Besides Beyoncé, Campbell has worked on some of the biggest albums of the past 50 years: 21 (Adele), Red (Taylor Swift), Tapestry (Carole King) and FutureSex/LoveSounds (Justin Timberlake). He is also responsible for working on his son Beck’s recent Grammy winning album. Beyoncé herself should have pointed this out to Kanye West in a public manner, but she is too busy dealing with other criticisms, particularly her recent Grammy performance.

Ledisi was the original performer of the song “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” from the movie Selma. However, it was alleged that Beyoncé tried to steal Ledisi’s spotlight by demanding to perform that song at this month’s Grammy Awards. The Huffington Post wasn’t happy about Beyoncé‘s alleged move.

“Beyoncé wanted to sing it, and we did not breathlessly await her performance as much as we were left to grudgingly endure it. There’s a larger issue at play than just the swapping of one great singer for another less talented but more popular one. Ledisi, with a crown of enviable braids and beautiful dark skin, was passed over by an artist whose nose job, ten pounds of blonde hair, and suspiciously alabaster skin has no doubt aided in her ascent to the top.”

Beyoncé was also criticized for alleged “unretouched” photos that leaked from 2013. However, it has been suspected that the photos were actually Photoshopped to make Beyoncé look worse than she really did. As a PR move, Beyoncé should probably record a duet with both Beck and Kanye West.

In a RHOBH preview of next week’s episode, Brandi Glanville is seen claiming her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Eileen Davidson, is a “home wrecker.”

As the cast sits down for a meal in Amsterdam, Davidson and the women begin discussing their current issues, most of which involved Kim Richards. However, while some members of the cast want to hash out the problems between them, Davidson is unsure if the topic should be discussed.

“Sobriety is a very slipper slope. Do we really want to go down that road? Because it’s a very personal issue.”

In the RHOBH preview, which was shared by Bravo on March 3, Davidson appears to be trying to move past Richards’ alleged struggles with addiction, but Richards doesn’t seem to have noticed and immediately goes after her, as she did just a short time before.

“Focus on your own family,” Richards suggests in the RHOBH preview, standing up from the table and leaning towards Davidson.

“You know what, Kim? Sue me for giving a damn.”

Later on in the RHOBH preview, Glanville takes aim at Davidson, telling the cast to go to her if they’d like advise on how to steal someone’s partner.

“Listen, if anyone at this table wants help being a home wrecker,” Glanville began in the RHOBH preview, before Davidson cut her off.

“Don’t f–king call me a home wrecker.

In an even more shocking moment in the RHOBH preview, Glanville is seen slapping Vanderpump in the face.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Glanville is reportedly on the verge of leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, it’s unclear whether she’s the one who wants to leave — or if it’s Bravo who’s had enough.

During an episode of her Podcast, Glanville revealed the following on her future with the series.

“I have not made any decisions yet either way. I don’t know, at this point, what the future holds for me. I haven’t said yes. I haven’t said no.”

“I don’t want to walk into a reunion without any friends. It would be a bloodbath. People don’t realize that [we’re] sitting on that couch for probably 12 hours. It’s such a mindf–k. It’s really hard.”

While Glanville has hinted that she’s the one in charge of her future, an Us Weekly report told a different story, claiming that Andy Cohen was ready to fire her after growing tired of her bad behavior.

‘RHOBH’ Preview: Brandi Glanville Calls Eileen Davidson A ‘Home Wrecker?’ is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Fernando Alonso’s career has been thrown into doubt after details regarding his concussion last week emerged.

The Spanish driver, who joined McLaren this summer from Ferrari, suffered a heavy crash at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya during testing ahead of the 2015 Formula One season.

The two-time world champion lost control of his car and smashed into a wall at around 150 miles-per-hour in Spain. He was then airlifted to hospital where it emerged he had suffered a concussion.

However this is where details surrounding his condition started to get a bit murkier. After the crash took place it was reported that Alonso was “OK and conscious,” and he was simply spending a night in hospital as a precaution.

But then he spent a further two nights in hospital, and when it was announced that Alonso would be missing the first race of the season further speculation started to swirl about his condition.

And now Le Pais newspaper, via Sky, have now reported that when Fernando Alonso was asked who he was and what he remembered about his accident he responded by stating that it was 1995 and he wanted to become a Formula 1 driver. His full response was…

“I’m Fernando, I’m in karts and want to become a Formula 1 driver.”

Alonso then admitted that he had no recollection about his crash in Barcelona.

Alonso had clearly forgotten that he’d started his career in Formula 1 with Minardi back in 2001, which he then followed up by becoming the youngest ever F1 champion with Benetton in 2005. He then followed this up with another world championship in 2006.

After this accusation was made fears started to grow that Alonso’s entire career could actually be in jeopardy. Mirror Sport have reported that doctors and investigators haven’t ruled out the possibility that Alonso might have “blacked out” before the collision.

Alonso was unconscious when stewards and doctors arrived at the scene of the crash, which was deemed rather peculiar.

An eyewitness has insisted that Alonso simply drove off the track rather than losing control. Meanwhile both car and engine failure have been ruled out too.

Mirror’s sources have explained that by the end of the day of the crash Alonso believed that he still drove for Ferrari, while he now remembers everything except for the incident. This insider then added “that he may never return.”

Alonso will definitely miss the Australian Grand Prix on March 15, while it’s still not know if Kevin Magnussen will replace the Spaniard in the Malaysian race two weeks later too.

Saudi Arabia is a country with a long and dark history concerning human rights violations, and is currently beheading prisoners and criminals at what Amnesty International called an “unprecedented rate.”

In the first two months of 2015 for example, 38 people had been executed, including many who were convicted of non-violent drugs crimes.

The country’s new leader, King Salman, seems to be even worse than his predecessor when it comes to seeing convicted prisoner’s heads rolling. This is reflected in the fact that for the same period in 2014 the numbers of people executed was three times lower.

Amnesty International’s Saudi Arabian researcher, Sevag Kechichian, told reporters, “Almost half of this year’s executions have actually been for non-violent drugs-related offences. There’s no real rhyme or reason for this upsurge in executions, and in a way this makes it all the more alarming.”

As a Muslim state, which practices its own form of sharia law, Saudi Arabia gives the death penalty for rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking.

According to a diplomatic source who spoke to AFP, the increase in executions is due to the new king wanting to show his power, “The Saudi authorities want to show everyone they are strong, people can rely on them to keep the security and the safety in the kingdom.”

Amnesty International published a report about the situation in Saudi,noting that,

“Courts continued to impose death sentences for a range of crimes, including some that did not involve violence, such as sorcery, adultery and drug offences, frequently after unfair trials. Some defendants, including foreign nationals facing murder charges, alleged that they had been tortured or otherwise coerced or misled into making false confessions in pre-trial detention.”

Just last Tuesday, three men were beheaded, one for rape and two for murder, bringing the total of people executed just this year to just under 40.

British celebrity Katie Hopkins tweeted several negative comments about the appearance and body shape of singer Kelly Clarkson, after the latter appeared on Graham Norton Live, People magazine reported. Writing for People, Steve Helling reported Kelly Clarkson appeared on that show and “showed off a fuller figure…”

“What happened to Kelly Clarkson?” Hopkins wrote. “Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen.”

Hopkins doubled down on the comments, tweeting, “”Look, chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves.”

Clarkson initially had a puzzled reaction, saying, “I don’t have a clue what you’re about, when asked by Heat magazine, said, “Someone tweeted something nasty about me?”

After the attack on her shape and appearance by Hopkins was explained, Kelly Clarkson responded, “That’s because she doesn’t know me,” she said. “I’m awesome! It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will.”

People reported that Hopkins had become a celebrity herself after appearing as a contestant on The Apprentice UK, “where she drew attention for her acerbic, insulting comments.” People also noted she has appeared on other reality shows and is an outspoken conservative who has gained status as a political pundit.

But Kelly Clarkson is keeping it positive despite the attacks on her appearance, telling Heat magazine, “It’s more if I’m happy and I’m confident and feeling good. That’s always my thing. And more so now, since having a family – I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”

“Kelly Clarkson Fires Back at Fat Shamer,” ABC News reported about the incident. “Journalist and reality star Katie Hopkins, known as “the most hated woman in Britain,” blasted Clarkson’s size on Twitter,” ABC News described the attack on Kelly Clarkson.

Kelly Clarkson had an “awesome response” to Hopkins, theInquisitr reported earlier today. Clarkson made it clear she didn’t care what was said about her by someone she hadn’t heard of.

“Last month, Sun columnist Katie Hopkins tweeted some pretty mean messages about Clarkson’s weight. The media personality was responding to Clarkson’s appearance on Graham Norton, and decided to let the world know what she thought about Kelly’s weight gain since the singer gave birth to her first child,” the Inquisitr reported about the “fat shaming” attack on Kelly Clarkson.

Scott Disick has been slammed by a British club owner after he cancelled his appearance at a venue just hours before he was due to arrive, and instead went to party in Paris with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

Disick was supposed to appear at Portsmouth’s Switch club and Bournemouth’s Cameo club, but he pulled out on Thursday night. Statements released by both of these establishments later confirmed that they’d only learnt about his decision because of a tweet that had been sent out by Disick’s manager at 9:00pm that night.

Cameo’s organisers then alleged that Disick had decided not to fulfil his duties because he had traveled to Paris, where Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Kendall Jenner, and Kris Jenner are currently visiting for Fashion Week.

Speaking to MailOnine, they declared, “Due to circumstances beyond the control of the club and the organizers of tonight’s event, Lowercase Events, Scott Disick will be unable to appear tonight, having decided at the last minute to travel to Paris, instead of meeting his contractual obligations to attend nightclubs in both Southampton and Bournemouth.”

Switch club also released a statement that read, “Scott Disick has let us know via his manager’s Twitter at 9.30pm that he cannot come tonight due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’ The real truth is he’s gone to Paris to party and ignore his fans.”

However, Switch’s description of Disick on their Facebook page, via Gossip Cop, was much more damning, as they labelled him as “trainwreck” for not appearing at the event. “I wish I could put on here some more info on why he’s not here – Trainwreck,” they wrote.

And because of his non-appearance, Switch went on to declare, “We will NEVER book US PA/Celebs – not if you paid us. His manager is spineless too – ignoring phone calls.” Switch have promised to reimburse everyone who bought a ticket for the event too.

Earlier this week Scott Disick also allegedly arrived at a meet-and-greet at The Lowery in Manchester intoxicated, while The Sun, via the Mirror, have reported that he made people wait for two hours and he has been described as being “completely out of it” and “swearing.”

Various complaints were made by individuals who were attended, while his appearance at Syndicate Bristol on Tuesday evening was, according to another eyewitness, similarly shambolic, as was his performance in Leeds.

After a gruesome, murderous crime spree that included the deaths of at least 12 people, Elena Lobacheva, known as “the Bride of Chucky” in Russia, has been caught, along with her partner, Paul Voitov.

Lobacheva is known as the Bride of Chucky because she allegedly told police that she had been inspired by the 1998 film that features a doll possessed by a serial killer.

According to the Russian news agency Life News, “This movie (Bride of Chucky), released over 15 years ago, became a sort of instruction for Elena. Lobacheva even has a tattoo on her shoulder – her favorite doll was always with her.”

Lobacheva and Voitov had another nickname, as well — and a chilling one, at that. Because they targeted so-called “vagrants and homeless” people in what they claim was an effort to “clean up Moscow,” the two were dubbed “the Cleaners,” as well. Killing homeless vagrants is no excuse for murder, and, in at least one of their crimes, they were mistaken about the victim being homeless. The victim’s father Alexander Yevseyev, 60, described his son’s murder.

“My son Sergei was neither homeless nor alcoholic. He worked in a bank and had met with a friend in a local park for a chat and a drink. After leaving he was walking home when they attacked him, stabbing him over 107 times.”

The couple had indeed stabbed the man over 100 times. In fact, the vicious and repetitive stabbing of their victims quickly became a hallmark of their murders. And the reason why is disturbing — Lobacheva stabbed people to death for the thrill of it. More specifically, Lobacheva stabbed people to death for the sexual thrill.

The Bride of Chucky reportedly told Moscow police that “randomly stabbing the body of a dying human brought her pleasure compared to sexual pleasure.”

Police also found that her home computer had a file of a “step-by-step instruction to killing people.” She also allegedly kept photos of her victims on the computer.

All the photos showed the victims with their stomachs eviscerated and other body parts cut off.

The Bride of Chucky lived in an apartment building, where neighbors described her as “polite and nice.” According to reports, though, the apartment of Lobacheva, which she shared with her pet rabbit, was filthy and filled with awful smells.

Her mother, Olga Lobacheva, is adamant that her daughter did not commit the murders.

“She can’t, she’s messy but she is a good person. She’s supportive. She didn’t kill. There is no anger in her eyes,” she said of her daughter.

Lobacheva and her partner began their murderous spree in July of 2014, and were caught after attempting to kill a street cleaner. The man managed to escape, and the pair had apparently been caught on film during that attack.

If convicted, the two will face life in prison.

It hasn’t been a good week for Chris Brown. The R&B singer had his name in the headlines after TMZ broke the news that he fathered a nine-year-old daughter named Royalty.

Then, his on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran announced on Twitter that it was decidedly “off” because she didn’t want any baby mama drama. It wasn’t only a slam against Brown, but essentially a confirmation about the news that Breezy’s fans were dreading — the singer did in fact unknowingly father a baby girl.

Since the news broke fans wanted answers from the singer, and have tweeted at him even though he has only promoted projects on his Twitter since everything went down. It was only a matter of time before Brown addressed these reports, and it wasn’t in the way that some expected.

Brown took to his social media account to tell everyone to back off of him.

“How bout ya’ll kiss my a**. I’ma post what the f**k I want, say what I want when I want and I don’t owe you nosey muhf**kahas a damn thing. This FRUITZ. #500″

We guess this means Chris won’t be making statements about his daughter any time soon.

As the Inquisitr reported, for the first nine months of Royalty’s life another man was raising her as his daughter. Absolutely heartbroken by the news that he wasn’t the father, the man simply known as “royalty_yaye_bah” DM’d Baller Alert with the following message.

“The Saddest Day Of My Life This lil girl meant the world To Me I been There Through Everything I was told This Was My child How Can This Be happening A Man Just Steps in and Take Over What I Built What I lived for I Dedicated My Whole Life To This Family Now Everything Is Gone.. @tmztv @balleralert Y Did This happen To me Now I lost My Lil Girl For Good. [sic]”

As far as Chris Brown’s ex girlfriend, she might have moved on already. Tran was pictured holding the hand of hunk Shae Savin with a smile on her face. Despite looking as happy as can be, Hollywood Life reported that there’s no romance between the two, but Savin is single and ready to mingle.

There’s a big change on the way for Gotham as one key cast member is leaving at the end of the season. While most Gotham spoilers on how it will play out are under wraps at this point, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed the big news about her departure on Friday.

Smith, who plays Fish Mooney on the show, told Extra that she will be leaving at the end of Season1. She says that she had a good time on the show and her character’s big exit will take place in this season finale. It seems that Pinkett Smith had committed for just a single year and while she’s fully embraced it, she won’t be back.

While of course Jada could not reveal much about how the character of Fish will leave the show, she teases that one never knows what Mooney has up her sleeve. As Comicbook notes, the actress also teased her exit via an appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael. She’s previously teased that Mooney may meet her demise and now it’s sounding more and more as if Fish will go out in a big way.

Though Season 1 of Gotham was originally slated to consist of 16 episodes, it did not take long for Fox to up the order and make the debut season a full 22 episodes long. Episode 18, titled “Everyone Has a Cobblepot,” just aired on March 2.

The show now takes a brief hiatus, much to the disappointment of anxious fans, with Episode 19 slated to air on April 13. Once Gotham returns, it sounds as if the final four episodes of Season 1 will run consecutively and fans can’t wait to see how this first season ends. As Deadline notes, Episode 19 brings Milo Ventimiglia onto the show in what is being teased as a major arc.

Ventimiglia, known by many for his time on shows like Gilmore Girls and Heroes, is reportedly playing the role of Jason Lennon, otherwise known as Ogre. The character may be seductive, handsome and wealthy, but he’s also a serial killer. His addition to the show in these final Season 1 episodes should be quite entertaining to watch.

Andy Cohen has spoken out on the futures of arguably two of Bravo’s most controversial reality TV figures. In his latest Ask Andy segment, Andy talked about whether Brandi Glanville, of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Stassi Schroeder, of Vanderpump Rules, have a future on their respective shows.

Andy’s assistant outright asked him if Brandi is getting fired, as some reports have suggested. Andy’s answer made clear that who’s staying and who’s leaving for season 6 hasn’t even been discussed yet.

“We don’t make any decisions about what’s happening with people until the season is well over. And I think it will be a conversation that we have with her about what we want to do.”

Brandi herself has hinted that she may not come back for another season. In an interview with In Touch Weekly in mid-February, Brandi admitted that she’s undecided about another season. She even suggested her replacement be the woman who had an affair with her now ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, when they were still married, LeAnn Rimes!

“I’m not sure how much longer I have on that show. Maybe it’s not for me anymore…She [LeAnn] could be good at it. Maybe it’ll be her next thing.”

While Andy was a bit optimistic about Brandi Glanville’s return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, he was more skeptical of Stassi Schroeder’s return to Vanderpump Rules, not because he and Lisa Vanderpump don’t want her but because Stassi herself may be fed up with it. He said that he doesn’t know if there is any truth to the rumor that Stassi isn’t coming back but did reveal that Stassi pretty much left the reunion filming fed up.

“I don’t know…Would I be surprised if she left? No…I think she was kinda done [by the end of the reunion filming].”

In a recent interview with Bustle, Stassi’s former friend, Katie Maloney, said that she doesn’t expect Stassi to return for season 4 of Vanderpump Rules, if there is one.

Reasons for that may be because Stassi doesn’t even work at SUR anymore and is hardly liked among the current cast. While she was good friends with Katie and Kristen Doute when the show first started, she is now no longer friends with either. Even Stassi’s short friendship with Scheana Marie ended between seasons when Stassi failed to show enough concern for Scheana after a bad accident.

Brandi Glanville actually appeared on the premiere episode of Lisa Vanderpump’s spin-off Vanderpump Rules. The show, which premiered right after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, kicked off with a sit down between Brandi and Scheana Marie, with whom Eddie cheated on Brandi with during their marriage.

Brandi’s friendship with Lisa actually deteriorated because Brandi felt as if Lisa was just using her all along to pump up ratings for Vanderpump Rules and disregarding her feelings about being around Scheana. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lisa Vanderpump recently defended, again, her continuing relationship with Scheana Marie despite Brandi Glanville’s displeasure.

The Teen Mom feud between Jenelle Evans and Katie Yeager has continued online on Friday.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Teen Mom 3 star called out her fellow Teen Mom on Thursday, one day after her fiancé’s arrest, slamming Evans for acting like a victim.

“It’s girls who play the victim that make us actual victims look like crazy liars, Yeager wrote, according to an Us Weekly report.

Although Yeager didn’t tag Evans in her tweet, or mention her by name at all, Evans quickly got word of the alleged diss, and a Teen Mom feud ensued.

Hours after the message was posted, Evans responded with the following tweet:

Further continuing the Teen Mom feud, Evans shared a couple more tweets, one of which included a fan’s message, that read, “Funny thing is who is katie?? Teen mom who couldn’t make it pass second season lls.” Three hours later, the Teen Mom feud got yet another reboot, with a second tweet from Yeager, in which the former reality star insinuated that Evans’ son didn’t love her.

As fans of Teen Mom 2 have seen, Evans, who recently welcomed son Kaiser, does not have custody of her 5-year-old son, Jace. Instead, her mother, Barbara Evans, is the child’s primary caretaker and continues to raise the child.

In a third Teen Mom feud tweet, which was sent without Evans’ tag, Yeager spotlighted the reality star’s failure to parent her oldest child.

“I might not be ‘relevant’ in your sense of the word but I’m relevant enough that my child knows I’m putting her to bed every night.”

As Us Weekly reported yesterday, Evans was scheduled to appear in court to regain custody of Jace on Wednesday, but didn’t appear. For weeks, the reality star has claimed to want more time with her son, but when it came time to take the necessary steps, she failed to show up.

Evans will return to MTV later this year for Teen Mom 2 season six. No word yet on whether or not her Teen Mom feud will be seen.

‘Teen Mom’ Feud Continues: Katie Yeager Insinuates Jenelle Evans’ Son Doesn’t Love Her? is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Arkansas State Representative Justin Harris and his wife have been facing extreme scrutiny and criticism after news went nationwide that they had allegedly given their two adopted daughters, 6 years-old and 3 years-old away to a child molester. According to the Inquisitr, the two girls were only in the Harris household for six months before they were “re-homed” to live with Eric Cameron Francis and his wife Stacy. It was later discovered that the 6 year-old had been raped by Francis.

Justin Harris and his wife have three biological sons, and were adopting for the first time with the two girls. According to the Arkansas Times, the girls were adopted through the Arkansas Department of Human Services. Harris publicly announced on social media that the adoption had been finalized on March 6, 2013.

Then six months later problems started to arise with the girls, and Harris felt that the girls may be a danger to the rest of his family, so he decided to send them to live with Francis.

“When our adoption became final, we went to the court, the whole family, exchanged teddy bears and everything — and it was like a light bulb suddenly flipped on for the girls. They knew, suddenly knew, that this was their forever home, and they were no longer ever going back to Mom’s house. There was anger and an instant behavior change.”

Justin Harris and Eric Francis had a connection that some people may find surprising. Harris and his wife own a Christian pre-school in West Fork that Francis had previously been employed at. Francis was employed at the school from November 2013 to January 2014, but was eventually fired for a poor attendance record.

Representative Harris told the Arkansas Times that Francis came with a pristine record and was a youth pastor at a church. His previous experience included working for the Bentonville School District in their Head Start Program. Harris went on to add that he was confident nothing had happened to any of the children (not including his own), at God’s Growing Kingdom Pre-School, because of strict security protocols.

On April 4, 2014 Eric Francis was arrested for the rape of a 6 year-old girl who was reportedly in his temporary care. During the State Police investigation it was discovered that no other incidents of abuse occurred at the pre-school, however two other incidents were discovered in the community. Francis was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

In an investigative report done by the Arkansas State Police, Sgt. Kimberly A. Warren, dated April 3,2014, she contacted Crimes Against Children Division Supervisor Terri Ward who advised that,

“Mr. and Mrs. Harris placed the girls into the care of Eric Francis and his wife Stacy [sic] Francis in October 2013.”

“It was later reported to the Department of Human Services that Mr. and Mrs. Harris had left the children with another family and had basically abandoned them. This incident was reported to the child abuse hotline and the children were interviewed.”

Some people are taking issue with the fact that Harris had employed Francis and subsequently fired him, but still left his daughters in Francis’ care. Stacy Francis says that the two girls stayed with them until February or March of 2014, and then she placed them with another family. The Francis family reportedly still received the adoption subsides for the girls even after they were gone. Investigators did decide that the third home the girls went to was a safe place, because they currently reside in that home.

Justin Harris and his attorney released a statement on Thursday evening after several days of media silence.

“Rep. and Mrs. Harris have suffered a severe injustice. Due to threats of possible abandonment charges, they were unable to reach out to DHS for help with children who presented a serious risk of harm to other children in their home. Upon the advice of both a psychiatrist and a pediatrician, they were forced to move the children to the home of trusted friends, who had a lot of experience with children with reactive attachment disorder. Rep. and Mrs. Harris are devastated about the outcome of that decision, but faced with no good option, they did the best that they knew how.”

Jennifer Wells, the attorney representing Harris tells ABC KATV that a press conference is scheduled in Little Rock sometime Friday afternoon.

Earlier this week, WWE NXT trainer Bill DeMott was accused of abuse during his training of WWE developmental superstars. The original report showed up on Reddit, where the Reddit moderators verified the story. This wasn’t DeMott’s first accusation of abuse from a developmental wrestler. For example, within the last 24 hours, another bullying story from DeMott surfaced.

After the initial report, nothing was denied on WWE’s end. That led to speculation within the WWE Universe that it may be true. Just when everyone thought it was going away, Bill DeMott dropped a bombshell on Twitter. According to DeMott himself, he is stepping down as a WWE NXT trainer. Here is his statement:

I deny the recent allegations made about me, however, to avoid any embarrassment or damage to the WWE, I’ve decided to step down from my role effective immediately.

Despite what his personal beliefs of the story are, DeMott and the WWE did the professional thing. Whether it was all DeMott’s decision or not, they chose the classiest way to go about this allegation. As for the original report that came out on Monday, here’s an excerpt from the story:

One such instance that has been mentioned by Judas Devlin (Austin Matelson) is the complaint of harassment against Matt Wichlinkski, the current Strength and Conditioning coach. I have attached screencaps of one such photo that he posted alongside his WWE contract. When he was caught filming/taking photos of talent’s backsides, it was brought to their attention. Some of the male talent attempted to stick up for the developmental divas and help catch him in the act (again, the fear instilled into us made it very hard to say anything), but when it was presented to Bill it was made very clear that he was not going anywhere, and any further complaints would result in dismissal because there a million girls ready to step in and take our place. In all instances of complaining about sexual harassment (including those outside of this incident), women have been forced out of the company. After one of the talents’ dismissal, when we couldn’t figure out where she went, we were told “if you go over my head, ask HER how well that works.”

WWE NXT trainer Bill DeMott was in hot water after the first story came out on Monday. It’s very hard to get away with something like that. Now, WWE never came out and confirmed the story. They haven’t denied it either, so take that as you wish.

In an earlier report on the Inquisitr, WWE superstars, past and present, spoke out in favor of DeMott. Doc, formerly known as Luke Gallows in WWE, said he was a great trainer and teacher. Chris Jericho, WWE legend, also backed up DeMott, by saying that if you cannot take it, then quit. Regardless of their opinions, DeMott is no longer a WWE NXT trainer. This story certainly isn’t over, so check back with updates on DeMott’s decision to step down from WWE.

It turns out that coming down with a common form of inflammatory arthritis could help protect your brain from Alzheimer’s disease. While gout is a painful and debilitating disease on its own, few would argue that it’s worse than a degenerative brain disease like Alzheimer’s, which takes your mind before it takes your life.

According to the New York Times, a recent study conducted at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston University Medical Center linked gout with a significant reduced risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

The researchers studied 59,204 British patients with gout (both men and women) and compared them to 238,805 people without gout. Monitoring the health of the patients for five straight years revealed that only 309 of the patients with gout were later diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, while an alarming 1,942 of patients without gout got Alzheimer’s. Those with gout had a 24 percent lower risk of contracting Alzheimer’s.

“Our work shows the potential protective effect of a high level of uric acid and gout against the development of Alzheimer’s disease,” said Dr. Hyon Choi, senior author and professor at Harvard Medical School.

According to WebMD, gout is caused by high levels of uric acid, which is also the direct cause of protection against Alzheimer’s or dementia.

“This is a dilemma, because uric acid is thought to be bad, associated with heart disease and stroke. This is the first piece of data suggesting uric acid isn’t all bad. Maybe there is some benefit. It has to be confirmed in randomized trials, but that’s the interesting twist in this story.”

This new research came on the heels of another study that suggested gout could also prevent Parkinson’s disease, or other neurodegenerative diseases. However, scientists are still unsure exactly how uric acid works to protect against Alzheimer’s. The cause of the correlation between gout and Alzheimer’s has not yet been investigated.

“This is just an initial finding,” Choi admitted of the Alzheimer’s findings. “One paper doesn’t make science.”

In addition to the patients examined by Choi and his team, the Alzheimer’s study also used medical records from the United Kingdom from 1995 to 2013 and information from an electronic database called the Health Improvement Network (THIN), according to Fox News. This data revealed that from 3.7 million patients over 40, people diagnosed with gout were at a 24 percent reduced risk of getting Alzheimer’s from those without gout.

While getting gout may not be an ideal way to prevent Alzheimer’s, it’s a step in the right direction.

However, researchers at Stanford may have already found a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

The first doctor on the scene of Harrison Ford’s plane crash in Los Angeles on Thursday has admitted that he was afraid the actor’s plane was going to explode when he came across it.

Sanjay Khurana, who works as a spine surgeon, has discussed his efforts to assist the stricken thespian with CBS2 Los Angeles, via Gossip Cop. Luckily for Ford, who is expected to make a full recovery following his brush with death, Khurana was actually playing golf at the Penmar course when the incident unfolded.

Khurana was at the seventh hole when he saw Ford’s vintage World War II two-seater plane first collide with a tree and then smash to the ground on the 8th tee.

This immediately sparked Khurana into action as he dropped his clubs and darted over to the scene of the crash to see if he could offer his medical assistance in any fashion.

Khurana explained that the first thing he saw was “a passenger in the rear seat slumped over in distress belted in.” Khurana went to get Ford out of his seat, but when he smelt the fuel that was quickly amassing around him he immediately started to worry that the plane was on the brink of exploding. He even tried to get some other gathered good samaritans to try and stop the fuel from igniting.

“We wanted to get him him out safely and with the fuel leaking out, I monitored to some of the other folks at the golf course to put dirt on the fuel so it wouldn’t combust. I just wanted to get him out safely so that the situation wouldn’t erupt into a fire” he declared.

Khurana managed to get Ford out of the plane and to a safe distance, which is when he recognised the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars and American Graffiti actor. “He was a very familiar face,” he admitted.

Khurana was able to confirm a number of rumors about Ford’s condition in the immediate aftermath of the incident. He confirmed that he was bleeding heavily from a gash on his head, however he also declared that the actor could both move and speak too before he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A statement from Harrison Ford’s representative confirmed that the actor is expected to make a full recovery, but they also admitted that the 72-year-old was “banged up” from the incident.
