Beyoncé has stepped up her security ahead of an upcoming charity concert in London amid fears of a British stalker who has plagued the singer for years.

The 31-year-old is performing alongside an array of artists including Madonna, Florence + the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend and Timbaland at the Sound of Change concert at the Twickenham Stadium this Saturday.

Beyoncé previously encountered fixated fan Barry Essien, who comes from South West London, at an 2009 event.

He allegedly tried to give the star a book of notes he had made that contained religious findings and claimed to have been “attempting to help the singer.”

Bassey was given an anti-harassment order by London’s High Court in 2011 after numerous failed attempts to legally restrict his access to the singer.

In his letter, Essien suggested that the “Single Ladies” hitmaker was an impostor who had killed the real Beyoncé, according to court papers filed at the time.

A source told The Sun: “Staff have been briefed on the situation and pictures of him have been passed round.They’ve been told to keep their eyes open and be extra vigilant.”

“Security has been increased on a few engagements now, especially for her UK promo. It is believed similar letters to the ones that Essien sent have been received.”

Meanwhile, the mother-of-one recently had her derriere slapped by an over-excited male fan at a concert in Denmark, Copenhagen earlier this week.

A video of the incident is now online, and in it Beyoncé can clearly be heard telling him: ”I will have you escorted out right now, alright?”

Beyoncé, who has a 16-month-old daughter Blue Ivy with her rapper-producer husband Jay-Z, is currently on a world tour, the appropriately named “Mrs. Carter Show.”

After a recent cancellation in Belgium, followed by a spike in reportedly false pregnancy rumors which the singer blasted, the tour has resumed.

The Houston native is joint headlining the UK’s Festival with Kings of Leon and her tour is set to wrap August 5 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, having a pencil in the head for 15 years is not the only crazy pencil-related news making the rounds lately.

Two second graders were playing with another at Driver Elementary School by pointing pencils at one another. The teacher instructed the two to stop. At first the dangerous duo complied, but then one was suspended for pointing his pencil at another student and making “gun noises.” Still, having a pencil in the head for 15 years probably is not as weird as a teacher who poured pencil shavings down a student’s throat as a “disciplinary measure.” And this teacher wasn’t fired.

The man who had a pencil in his head for 15 years apparently had the pencil lodged in there during a childhood accident. The unnamed man vaguely recalls falling badly once as a child but he’s still not sure how the pencil got in his head.

German doctors reviewed the case and removed the pencil in his head after 15 years of suffering:

“Aachen University Hospital says the 24-year-old man from Afghanistan sought help in 2011 after suffering for years from headaches, constant colds and worsening vision in one eye. A scan showed that a 10-centimeter (4-inch) pencil was lodged from his sinus to his pharynx and had injured his right eye socket.”

One might wonder how he didn’t realize he had a pencil in his head for 15 years… heck, even this little girl notice earlier than that.

The composer for Thor: The Dark World has reportedly quit the project.

The next installment of Marvel’s franchise is slated to arrive in theaters later this year. Now that Carter Burwell has dropped out of the film, the studio will have to scramble to find someone to complete the score as soon as possible.

The official word regarding Burwell’s decision to leave Thor: The Dark World is a familiar one: creative differences. This could mean any number of things, which is why it’s the perfect cover for quitting a project.

An insider close to the production told the folks at Deadline that Carter Burwell left the project after butting heads with Marvel. According to the source, producers like the composer but think “it wasn’t the right project.”

This anonymous individual also told the website that Marvel is very close to naming Burwell’s replacement. With the release date looming on the horizon, it’s not surprisingly that the studio is getting its duck in a row.

In addition to finding a new composer, Marvel will have to change the poster they released for Thor: The Dark World not too long ago. Since Burwell’s name is featured in the credits, the studio will have to issue another one-sheet that reflects the unexpected change.

However, you probably shouldn’t feel too sorry for Carter Burwell. The composer still has a number of projects currently waiting in the wings. He will reportedly provide the score for The Fifth State and Charlie Kaufman’s Anomalisa.

To make matters worse, reports are suggesting that Marvel isn’t too happy with Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor. Digital Spy states that Taylor might be close to getting canned. Of course, nothing official about this rumor has been confirmed.

“It also appears so is the director who seems to have been asked to take a long vacation until after the film opens. I’ve head one replacement name being mentioned which would be a very interesting replacement and is a very talented composer as well. We’ll see if he gets the gig,” another source told the website.

Involved patients pay more for medical care, sometimes a lot more. According to a study published Monday in JAMA Internal Medicine, a patient who insists on sharing medical decisions with his or her doctor will spend more money and more time in the hospital.

Researchers from the University of Chicago Medicine wanted to investigate the often-repeated advice that patients need to be more involved in making medical decisions to control costs and receive better results. Their counter-intuitive findings were shocking:

“There are about 35 million hospitalizations each year in the United States. If 30 percent of those patients chose to share decision making rather than delegate that role to their doctors, it would mean $8.7 billion of additional costs per year.”

The long-term study examined almost 22,000 patients admitted between July 2003 and August 2011, so it probably wasn’t just a mathematical quirk caused by a small statistical sampling size.

And the costs weren’t trivial. The involved patients stayed in the hospital an average of about 5 percent longer, causing them to rack up an average $856 extra in charges.

The UC Medicine researchers added that they weren’t trying to discourage people from being involved in their own care. But the takeaway lesson seemed to be that if you do question the doctor, you may get better care but you’ll also pay more.

One reason could be that if a patient asks too many questions and seems overly anxious, doctors may feel obligated to protect themselves against potential lawsuit lottery players by ordering extra tests or treatments. Doctors probably don’t feel as worried about trusting patients who are clearly relying on the medical team to make the best decisions.

Another reason for the higher costs could be that it always takes more time for a committee to come to a decision. The back-and-forth between involved patients and their medical teams comes with a cost in time — and we all know that time costs money.

Ironically, on Tuesday — the very next day — JAMA Internal Medicine released a second study which called for patients to become more involved in medical decisions with their doctors.

A study by Dr. Floyd J. Fowler and his colleagues at the Informed Medical Decisions Foundation in Boston, MA showed that patients were mostly left out of the decision-making process.

No offense to Dr. Fowler, who is undoubtedly well-intentioned, but many Americans can’t afford their medical expenses as it is. Doctors go to school a long time. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t see much value in trying to tell the doctor how to do his or her job — especially if I’m going to have to pony up almost another $1,000 for the privilege.

The IRS scandal could lead to tax code reform that simplifies the laws and perhaps even lowers taxes.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the IRS scandal has Republican hounding the Obama administration in addition to Benghazi and the AP and Fox News scandal.

Representative David Camp, the Michigan Republican who chairs the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, believe the IRS scandal should lead to tax code reform:

“The complexity of the law didn’t require the IRS to target people for their political beliefs. I think giving the IRS less discretion is going to be important, and that’s what a simplified code would do.”

Other republicans claim, “If you want to diminish and limit the power of the IRS, you have got to reduce the complexity of the tax code and take them out of it.” Tax code reform is needed because people ”often find loopholes that enable them to reduce or eliminate their tax liabilities.”

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan says the known facts about the IRS scandal are “just chilling.” Paul Ryan believes the IRS scandal should prompt discussion about tax code reform as well:

“The kind of spending cuts we’re talking about right now aren’t even actually cutting spending. It’s just slowing the growth of spending increases. You’ve had ‘the sequester,’ which just deals with a small part of government—about 2 percent of the spending overall.”

The good news is that taxes have increased greatly in addition to the two percent in spending cuts, with the Congressional Budget Office projecting a $642 billion federal deficit for fiscal year 2013. While that’s still not good, it’s far better than the $1 trillion plus overspending the last few years have seen. Since the average global corporate tax rate is 25 percent, and the US business tax rate is 35 percent, Paul Ryan believes we need ”to make sure we have an international tax system that is in sync with the rest of the industrialized world.”

A set of twins’ strokes at 26, just nine months apart, are part of a growing issue involving younger people and strokes doctors say — particularly because the pair did not share a genetic cause.

The first of the twins’ strokes at 26 occurred last summer, when Kathryn Tucker experienced classic symptoms of a stroke — ones that went initially undiagnosed due to her age.

Tucker felt a “sharp pain” on the right side of the back of her head, impeding her vision and causing numbness as she went to bed one night in July. Her brother took her to the hospital, where the stroke was initially diagnosed as a migraine with an aura.

Tucker returned home, still unaware she’d suffered a stroke, and says of the days afterwards:

“I was absolutely terrified … I slept for three days straight. Then, when I woke up, my vision was horrible. Everything was distorted and one-dimensional. I could barely get around.”

Tucker’s condition didn’t improve, and eventually, she went to an urgent care facility, where the 26-year-old learned she’d suffered a stroke days prior.

Sister Kimberly Tucker, also 26, soon left school to help care for Kathryn after her stroke — but that April, the same issue struck Kimberly, on the opposite side.

Vascular neurologist at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix Dr. Joni Clark spoke to ABC about the twins’ strokes at 26.

As the women do not possess identical DNA and are fraternal twins, the cause of the strokes was deemed not to be genetic.

Clark notes that there is no family history of stroke, and says:

“Honestly, it’s rare for us to actually evaluate two sisters who’ve had strokes within months of each other … If they had a family history, it would not be a surprise. It’s quite uncommon … We see this mainly among young people who have risk factors that you should see in elderly patients.”

Clark continued:

“Here at Barrow, we see a huge population of stroke patients — and, in my own experience, which is anecdotal, I see a fair number of young people with stroke … The majority are spontaneous.”

The doctor says the twins’ strokes at 26 are part of a growing trend of strokes in young adults. Both of the women smoked and used birth control pills, known factors for increasing stroke risk.

Clark mentions lifestyle factors like obesity and activity level as driving the trend, too:

“You’d also be surprised how many young adults don’t exercise … It’s sad, because the rise is due to good, old stroke risk factors that shouldn’t happen when they are young.”

Kimberly Tucker had some advice for young people who fit the risk profile, saying:

“Don’t think you are impervious to stroke … We think we are invincible until we are not. This taught us a huge lesson that we are not guaranteed great health and we need to take care of our bodies.”

The twins’ strokes at 26 were described by Kimberly as rarer than the chance of being struck by lightning.

Da Vinci Code star Audrey Tautou claims that the Hollywood system is way too superficial and that’s why she won’t be moving to Los Angeles to boost her movie career.

Tautou, the French actress whose career launched in a big way after 2001’s Amelie, hosted the opening ceremony for this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

In an interview, Tautou admitted that she loves American movies but claims she’s just not  ambitious enough to live in Hollywood in part because there’s too much scrutiny: “People staring at every single millimeter of your body and what you wear, it is a huge pressure. Some people are happy with that, but me, non.”

Added Tautou: “Getting a role, like in The Da Vinci Code, that’s fine. Once in a while, I would love to, but it doesn’t work like that. They are not just going to come and pick me up as an actress, with all the wonderful actresses they have.”

Tautou, 36, insisted that she has no plans to leave her home country: “If you want to build a career in Hollywood, that is different. You have to move there. And for a French person like me… I would have to be away from my friends and family  … In Hollywood, there is a very important marketing, business, branding side. And I really don’t think I could be formatted for that.”

In a 2006 interview after The Da Vinci Code (in which she starred opposite Tom Hanks) was released, she expressed similar sentiments: “I am, at the end of the day, a French actress. I am not saying I will never shoot an English-language movie again, but my home, my community, my career is rooted in France. I would never move to Los Angeles.”

In today’s world of instantaneous worldwide communications, a performer doesn’t necessarily have to be based in Hollywood to launch or sustain a major career. Churches cut Boy Scout ties after the Boy Scout gay ban was lifted.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, lifting the  Boy Scout gay ban has angered churches. Many longtime Boy Scout supporters are pulling their entire families from the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).

Critics of the Boy Scouts gay ban reversal say the BSA had never discriminated against homosexual youths. The BSA membership application reportedly does not ask about sexual orientation, and the BSA has never attempted to find or remove its gay members. The Boy Scouts gay ban will still be in effect for Boy Scout leadership.

As churches cut Boy Scout ties there is a debate over where the line should be drawn. Churches sponsor about 70 percent of the 100,000 charted Boy Scout units in the United States.

Dallas Pastor Gregg Simmons says, ”We’re going to have a long, hard discussion of our support for our local troop. How will they maintain ‘morally straight’? They have stripped that statement of all meaning. You’re not just teaching young men how to build campfires.”

Pastor Ben Wright will not immediately see his churches cut Boy Scout ties based upon the gay ban decision, but “progression toward acceptance of homosexual leaders would warrant another review of the relationship.” Wright also points out that “Boy Scout guidelines prohibit the promotion of social and political agendas within the organization but this resolution steps right into that” since the new Boy Scout policy uses phrases like “sexual orientation” and “sexual preference.”

Albuquerque, NM – A drunk driver crashed his car while having sex in New Mexico.

According to police, 25-year-old Luis Briones and 21-year-old Natasha Carroll were having intoxciated sex inside his SUV while barreling down the road on Monday evening.

Since his attention was elsewhere at the time, Briones reportedly ran a red light and hit another car. The force of the impact sent Carroll flying from the vehicle.

Instead of staying by his wounded companion’s side, the drunk driver hopped back inside the SUV and attempted to speed away. However, The Smoking Gun reports that one witness managed to take the keys away from Briones before he could escape.

Realizing that he was only minutes away from getting arrested, the drunk driver jumped into a nearby bush and attempted to hide behind a cactus. Since Briones was only wearing one shoe and a pair of inside-out shorts at the time, he was likely in a fair amount of pain at the time. It didn’t take long for officers to locate the man.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, Carroll was completely naked when paramedics arrived at the scene. She received deep cuts to her head and face as a result of being thrown from the SUV. She was taken to an area hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

Police believe that the drunk driver and his woman were engaged in some sort of sex act when the accident occurred. Officers also found a bottle of vodka inside his vehicle. After placing him inside the police car, authorities said he issued several threats and refused to keep his pants on.

The Associated Press reports that Luis Briones has been charged with aggravated DWI, reckless driving, and evading police. It’s unclear if Natasha Carroll will face any charges for her role in the crash.

A loaded gun at Disney World was found by an Animal Kingdom guest.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the Disneyland explosion did not involve loaded guns or any other weaponry. The Disneyland explosion was caused by dry ice in a trash can and no one was hurt.

The loaded gun at Disney World potentially could have hurt someone. Around noon a woman approached a Disney employee and handed her a loaded gun. The loaded gun was found at Animal Kingdom on the seat of the Dinosaurs ride by a grandmother accompanied by a young boy.

Disney security and Orlando deputies unloaded the Cobra .380 automatic pistol, which had a fully loaded clip of five hollow point bullets.

Angelo Lista, 44, of Royal Palm Beach said the loaded gun “just slipped out” of his back pocket “as a result of the ride being extremely bumpy.” Upon realizing his loaded gun was missing Lista went to Disney security to find the missing pistol.

Lista has a valid concealed weapons permit and went through the security bag check with the gun in his pocket. Lista supposedly did not realize guns, loaded or otherwise, were not allowed in Disney World theme parks. The Disney World no guns rule is posted on their website but apparently there are no posted signs at the gate.

A loaded gun at Disney World is being called a “rare” event by Disney officials. Disney asked the gun owner to leave their parks but did not charge him with anything. Police deputies escorted Lista to his car.

PlayStation 4 will make PS Vita Remote Play mandatory.

In an interesting move by Sony to promote their portable console, PlayStation 4 games will have a mandatory requirement that Remote Play on the PS Vita is possible.

How this will affect PlayStation 4 gamers remains to be seen, but now publishers hoping to put games on Sony’s next generation console will need to keep the PS Vita in mind. It’s not like this concept hasn’t been done before, in fact it’s been done twice in the console gaming industry. PlayStation 3 owners were allowed to play their games via a WiFi connection on their PSP, but the technology hadn’t been fully fleshed out yet, and didn’t work very well. This is the same technology that the Nintendo’s Wii U GamePad uses, so it has been perfected since.

In a surprising reflection of the reported upgrade in technology used by the Xbox One’s Kinect, the PlayStation 4′s Remote Play technology with the PS Vita will be an improved and “fixed” version of what gamers used with the previous generation’s coupling.

What Remote Play actually does is it takes the game from the “big brother” console and streams it using the console’s own built-in WiFi signal to the portable device, making it possible to play the games on the portable device.

How this will work with the PS Vita’s native controls remains to be seen, as the PlayStation 4′s DualShock 4 controller obviously has more buttons. It could be that Sony is planning to integrate Android and iOS-style touchscreen “buttons” to make up for them. How would this work, you might ask? The touchscreen would display buttons on the screen itself that act as the buttons that aren’t physically there. The biggest problem with this is that you can’t feel the extra buttons that way, causing a lot of “look over” issues which can interfere with action titles.

This is obviously Sony attempting to promote sales for its portable device which is reportedly not selling as well as they’d hoped.

Child abuse survivors have a greater risk of food addiction than women who didn’t experience sexual or physical abuse in childhood. That’s the result of a new study carried out on over 57,000 adults in the Nurses’ Health Study II by Dr. Susan Mason and colleagues from Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

The researchers published their results in the journal Obesity. As you might expect, the women in the study who had a food addiction were also heavier on average than other women.

The researchers defined food addiction as “three or more addiction-like eating behaviors severe enough to cause significant distress or loss of function.” They noted in their statement that binging on foods high in fat and/or sugar is one way that women often cope with severe stress, which is why they wanted to see if there was a link between childhood abuse and adult food addiction in the first place.

The numbers uncovered by Mason and her team were shocking. Eight percent of the women in the study had food addictions, making it an extremely common problem among all women.

However, women who had undergone physical or sexual abuse as children under age 18 had almost double the risk of a developing a food addiction. Women who experienced both forms of abuse had the highest risk of food addiction of all. The researcher’s  statement summed up:

“The food addiction prevalence varied from six percent among women without a history of physical or sexual abuse to 16 percent among women with a history of both severe physical and sexual abuse.”

Dr. Mason said that in an ideal world, of course we would prevent the problem by preventing all abuse of children. However, in an imperfect world, childhood abuse survivors may need extra help to fight food addictions and unhealthy binges.

Billboard.com is reporting the sad news that Outkast rapper Andre 3000′s mother was found dead in her Georgia home earlier this week.

According to Billboard, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo was discovered at her house in Atlanta on the morning of Dre’s 38th birthday on Monday, May 27.

Though the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, sources close to the family announced that she died in her sleep.

Sharon was 62-years-old at the time of her death.

XXLMag notes that Dre’s mom was the founder of The Starlight Camp, a church organization aimed to help underprivileged children.

Mrs. Hodo also ran the learning program out of the New Morning Light Missionary Baptist Church, which is the church of her husband Pastor Roberto Hobo, in Conley, Georgia.

A rep for the rapper, born Andre Benjamin, requests that supporters give to his mother’s the Starlight Camp rather than send flowers.

Since the news broke that Benjamin-Hodo passed away, Andre 3000′s Twitter account has been flooded with condolences from friends and fans alike.

Gipp from OutKast’s Dungeon Family-affiliated Goodie Mob tweeted,

“My Condolences And LOVE GO OUT TO 3000 …WE ALL LOVED YOUR MOTHER MISS B..God got her NOW!!#DUNGEONFAMILY… Gipp”

Atlanta songwriter and producer Jermaine Dupri also took to Twitter to write:

“Andre 3000′s Mother Dies A Day After His 38th Birthday: My condolences go out to Dre,and the entire Benjamin-Hodo family.”

A recent 911 call sparked rumors that Bigfoot was shot and killed in Pennsylvania.

Police in Altoona received a call from a man who claimed to have proof of the legendary creature on his property. An officer was soon dispatched to the residence, sparking a series of rumors centered around the enormous furry beast.

According to Discovery News, the 911 call caused many Bigfoot hunters to believe the monster of myth and legend had finally been captured. Other reports suggested that a “large manlike creature” was shot and killed in Somerset County.

Although rumors stated that all of this information had been confirmed by authorities, police deny having found anything of significance at the man’s home.

ANI reports that the 911 call regarding the supposed Bigfoot was placed by John Winesickle. He told dispatchers that he had proof of the creature’s existence and wanted someone to come out to his home and have a look. Winesickle also placed a call to the Game Commission regarding his discovery.

The man reportedly showed the responding officer several photographs of what he believed to be Bigfoot tracks found on his property. However, an investigation into the matter proved that the creature had not been captured, killed, or located. In fact, it’s believed that the track belonged to a bear and her cub.

Doubtful News’ Sharon Hill told Discovery News that it didn’t take very long for the news to spread throughout the very enthusiastic Bigfoot community. According to Hill, fans of the monster often spread rumors like wildfire.

“It was typical of Bigfoot rumors — bits and pieces but no real sources. Speculation then went crazy within hours thanks to the Bigfoot online community. This is absolutely the worst way to get information,” she explained.

Unfortunately, it would seem that the 911 call regarding Bigfoot produced no real evidence of the creature’s existence. However, it’s doubtful that this is the last time someone will spot the legendary beast roaming around Pennsylvania.

Michele Bachmann announced today that she will not be running for reelection in 2014.

The Minnesota congresswoman made the announcement today in a Youtube video.

Bachmann says: “My good friends. After a good deal of thought and consideration, I have decided that next year I will not seek a fifth congressional term to represent the wonderful people of the 6th district of Minnesota.”

Bachmann didn’t give an exact reason for her decision but noted that 8-years of service was more than enough.

Bachmann added: “The law limits anyone from serving as president of the United States for more than eight years, and in my opinion, well, eight years is also long enough for an individual to serve as a representative for a specific Congressional district.”

The Huffington Post notes that Bachmann is currently under investigation for ethics violations during her 2012 presidential campaign. Bachmann said that the investigation had nothing to do with her decision to retire from Congress. Bachmann also said that her decision “was not influenced by any concerns about my being re-elected.”

Bachmann has served in congress in 2007 and became a nationally known name last year when she ran for President. Bachmann was a tea party favorite but her ultra-conservative views alienated some of the Republican base.

Bachmann won’t be running for reelection in 2014 but it is possible that she finds a new avenue for her political talents.

George Zimmerman is “out of money” for the Trayvon Martin murder trial.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, George Zimmerman’s defense lawyers wanted Trayvon Martin’s shouts on recordings to be excluded as evidence. Zimmeran’s lawyers claims audio experts are using bad science to identify a voice calling for help on a recording as being Trayvon Martin.

Trayvon Martin’s texts and photos show the teen was struggling with drugs and fighting. But the Trayvon Martin trial will proceed without that information.

The Trayvon Martin murder trial is seeing George Zimmerman out of money and the jury selection for the trial is not even scheduled to begin for another two weeks on June 10:

“The defense’s trust account has less than $5,000, the Zimmerman lawyers said in a blog post, and more than $20,000 in liabilities. Zimmerman and his attorneys have been soliciting donations for his defense since early in the case, and based on their updates have raised — and apparently spent — about $400,000 already.”

With George Zimmerman out of money the defense’s lead counsel and co-counsel are working for free. Otherwise, George Zimmerman’s defense consists of unpaid interns and staffers. The lawyers claim $120,000 would give Zimmerman “the defense he deserves,” while $75,000 would be the “barest minimum” for a “fighting chance.”

A Miami Heat fan stirred up the Twitterverse last night after tweeting a picture of himself holding a gun to his head after LeBron James fouled out.

James got his sixth foul with less than a minute left (Lance Stephenson drew the foul) in last night’s game to the dismay of Miami Heat Nation, including this Twitter user who was apparently kidding around.

This was only the second time the Heat superstar fouled out of a game in his NBA career.

The Indiana Pacers prevailed in the game 99-92, thanks to a 16-6 run in the fourth quarter. The NBA Eastern Conference final is now tied at two games apiece heading into Thursday night’s game at American Airlines arena in Miami. Indiana should really be up 3-1 but Pacers coach Frank Vogel made a terrible error in game one that allowed James to score the winning basket with two seconds left in overtime. Vogel’s miscue was inexplicably yanking center Roy Hibbert out of the game for the final play. Hibbert was the difference in last night’s matchup, recording 23 points and 12 rebounds. James had 24 points and six rebounds in a losing cause.

After the victory by the underdog Pacers, Hibbert offered this reaction: “We’re never going to give up. We’re relentless. All those guys in there, they believe we can win. No matter what all the analysts or whoever says anything, they count us out, those guys in the locker room were ready to play and we went out and played our hearts out.”

As far as the Heat fan pointing a gun to his head after the LeBron James offensive foul, BlackSportsOnline provided this commentary: “Even if a joke, it wasn’t really funny and Markus isn’t someone who should be in possession of a weapon if he uses it as a toy. It is just a game, guns and suicide aren’t things to play around with, just for some Retweets, but this is the society we live in now … You can be a fan, you can be funny and you can be Twitter Famous without the gun props, hopefully Markus realizes that.”

Amanda Bynes has struck again.

The troubled actress has made a recent habit out of picking fights on Twitter. After a peculiar and rather mean-spirited exchange with Rihanna, it would seem Bynes has turned her attention to Chrissy Teigen.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model apparently provoked the Easy A star by tweeting about the support she’s receiving on Twitter. According to Teigen, the fact that anyone has Bynes’ back is troubling.

“The fact that Amanda Bynes has any ‘support’ to retweet is really unsettling. Support people with mental illness, yes. But don’t condone/enable scary and poor behavior,” the model wrote.

Since Amanda Bynes spends quite a bit of time looking up her own name on the social media site, it didn’t take very long for the actress to lash out. Instead of 140 characters, the former What I Like About You star opted for a lengthier response.

During the diatribe, the actress referred to Chrissy Teigen as an “old ugly model” whose career is “uninspiring.” You can read Bynes’ thoughts on the matter below.

“Ur not a pretty model compared to me. I signed to Ford models @ age 13. I don’t look up to u beauty wise. I’m far prettier than u! I’m offended that you’re saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it, but thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are an old ugly model compared to me! You look 45! You’re not pretty so I’m not intimidated by you! I think you’re jealous that you’re just an ugly model whos career is uninspiring! I don’t respect you! You’re no beauty queen! I’m a beauty queen!”

It’s all fun and games until someone gets charged with a felony. A 17-year-old student is facing felony charges after pulling a yearbook prank at Hickman High School.

Kaitlyn Booth allegedly changed a classmates last name from Mastain to “masturbate” in the school yearbook. The prank earned her an arrest for suspicion of first-degree property damage, a felony, and harassment.

Hickman school principal Tracey Conrad said that the prank wasn’t brought to the school’s attention until after the yearbooks were distributed.

Conrad said that the school would have had to pay around $40,000 to have all 720 yearbooks reprinted. Instead, the school decided to have stickers placed over the obscene name.

Conrad told the Colombian Tribune: “The yearbook staff worked diligently to retrieve the ones that had been handed out and to put the stickers over the pages of the yearbooks that were yet to be handed out.”

Raigan Mastain, the victim of the yearbook prank, said that she was a little annoyed when she saw that her name had been changed to “masturbate” but admitted that it “wasn’t devastating.” Mastain also said that she was surprised that Booth arrested on felony charges.

Mastain said: “I was kind of annoyed. It was stupid, but I wasn’t that upset … I understand the legality … but I was definitely pretty shocked … When you’re in high school, you do stuff that is not necessarily the smartest, and this was an example of that. What she did wasn’t right, but I don’t think it should affect her for the rest of her life.”
