Earlier at the Inquisitr, it was reported that the undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, has found her next opponent for UFC 190, Bethe Correia, who is also undefeated. What is unique about this match-up is how personal it has become. As a matter of fact, Rousey has directly told Correia that, “If you f**k with my family, you are f**ked!”

Now the bad blood from the grudge has intensified even more. Ronda Rousey made a statement, meant to be a jab to Bethe Correia’s pride, saying, “I got 99 problems but a Bethe ain’t one!”

According to an article by FOX Sports, it reports that Ronda Rousey is making her rounds for her latest media tour, promoting her recently announced fight at UFC 190 in Brazil against Bethe Correia. On Monday, March 23, Rousey’s tour made its way to a guest appearance on The View. Despite some jet lag and lack of sleep, Rousey wasted no time verbally assaulting Correia with a play on a quote made famous by Jay-Z.

“I got 99 problems but a Bethe ain’t one!”

The play on the quote delighted the crowd to no end, especially the fact that Correia’s first name of Bethe is phonetically pronounced as “Betch.” When spoken quickly enough, it sounds as if Bethe sounds more like the word “b**ch.”

Despite the fact that Ronda Rousey’s has agreed to fight Bethe Correia, there is an argument among UFC fans, as well as the MMA community, that Correia doesn’t truly belong in the same cage as Rousey. For starters, the combined UFC accomplishments of Correia’s last three opponents are one win and six losses. This is why the odds are highly in Rousey’s favor, somewhere in the neighborhood 15-to-1.

So how did Beth Correia get this title shot in the first place? According to Bleacher Report, Correia has instigated a two-part plan to achieve her goals, which includes bombardments of smack talk and destroying Ronda Rousey’s friends and training partners (who Rousey sees as family which resulted in the infamous “You are f**ked!” statement). Maybe this is the reason, despite all the verbal jabs, Rousey is not letting her guard down.

Ronda Rousey will face off against Bethe Correia at UFC 190. The event will take place on August 1, 2015 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is still a ways from now, and if the animosity between Rousey and Correia continues to build, who knows how violent their match will be when it happens.

Pope Francis has impressed people around the world with his remarks and actions ever since he was elected. However, despite his views, nobody probably ever expected him to be mobbed by nuns during a service. But that’s exactly what happened to him at Naples Cathedral on Monday.

Pope Francis was at a ceremony when he found himself being swarmed and hugged by a group of nuns.

In fact, the nuns’ actions became so incessant that Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, who was officiating in the Cathedral, actually had to intervene and told the sisters to stop bothering the pope.

Upon seeing the scene, via ABC News, Cardinal Sepe said into the microphone, “Sisters… later. Well, would you look at that.”

However, even though the pope was being mobbed by the nuns, Sepe was still able to make a joke about the situation, as he cracked, “And these are the cloistered ones. Just imagine the non-cloistored ones.”

Sepe then went on to add, “They are going to eat him! Sisters… sisters!”

The Archbishop of Naples ultimately helped to rein in the sisters, who had been showering him with presents and greetings when they clearly became overwhelmed with being so close to Pope Francis.

According to the Telegraph, after hearing their names called by the archbishop, each of the nuns then excitedly broke into applause and began fervently waving. They then made their way from the side wing of the cathedral and surrounded Pope Francis. This was when the pope’s security personnel finally intervened.

The pontiff was able to see the funny side of the nuns’ efforts though. However, he also looked to be a tad bemused by them at the same time.

Pope Francis was in Naples for just one day to meet a variety of religious leaders, seminarians, and priests in the area.

The nuns usually observe and abide by the rules of “papal enclosure,” which means that they very rarely leave their nunneries. Most of the time, they only meet their visitors through a grill. In order to meet Pope Francis, each of the nuns had to be given special permission to have their seven convents in Naples closed for the day.

While in Naples, Pope Francis also visited some of the city’s poorest and most poverty stricken areas, while he also visited where the mafia has a stronghold.

As Pope Francis made his way around the region, hundreds of thousands of people made their way onto the streets to pay their respects and say hello to him.

The U.S. Supreme Court today turned away a challenge to Wisconsin’s voter-ID law, in a victory for the administration of Gov. Scott Walker, a likely 2016 GOP presidential candidate.

Opponents of the law requiring a state-issued photo identification to vote had fought it in federal and state court before it was temporarily put on hold by the high court in October without ruling on the merits.

“It did not explain its reasoning, but it was most likely because the statute was being implemented so close to the November election, which could have caused confusion and disruption,” Reuters noted.

However, in a defeat for the ACLU, the justices in a one-sentence ruling today declined to review a prior federal circuit court decision that determined that the law — originally passed by the Republican-controlled legislature in 2011 — was constitutional. The same photo ID requirement had earlier been upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

“For now, it appears a majority of high court justices approve of photo-ID laws such as Wisconsin’s, which does not involve allegations of intentional racial discrimination. None of the high court’s more liberal justices voiced dissent with the decision not to hear the case,” USA TODAY claimed.

A similar Texas statute is now the subject of a lawsuit pending before a federal appeals court in a closely watched case.

In 2008, the Supreme Court ruled that Indiana’s voter ID law was constitutional, and most countries around the world require a photo ID to vote.

Democrats from the Obama administration on down, along with allied groups, claim that voter ID laws discriminate against and disenfranchise voters, primarily minorities and the elderly, i.e., voter suppression. Republicans insist that photo ID is one tool to combat voter fraud.

A few years ago, however, Democrats in Rhode Island passed a photo-ID law, and the implementation apparently ran smoothly.

About today’s ruling, Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel explained that “Absentee ballots are already in the hands of voters, therefore, the law cannot be implemented for the April 7 election. The Voter ID law will be in place for future elections – this decision is final.”

Wisconsin also announced that it will provide free state identification cards for voting, and also has a process for issuing IDs to those voters who even lack a birth certificate.

While people can disagree for ideological reasons about voter ID laws, as a practical matter, to function successfully in day-to-day life, you need a government-issued photo ID. No one seems to have a problem showing ID to get on a plane, opening up a bank account or cashing a check, picking up a package at the post office or UPS or FedEx, applying for government assistance, checking into a motel, completing a credit card transaction, getting a beer at the ballpark, buying cigarettes (for those foolish enough to still smoke), and even to vote in a union election. You even need a photo ID to buy recreational or medical marijuana in those states where it is legal, and there have no reported problems in that regard.

In February, 2014, those assembling to protest North Carolina’s new voter ID law were required by organizers to have a photo ID to participate. The North Carolina law does not take effect until 2016, and is also subject to a court challenge. In the meantime, the state is providing picture identification for free to anyone who wants one, and is dispatching mobile vans to distribute them, thereby even eliminating the need for legal voters to go to the DMV to get an ID.

Parenthetically, attendees even needed a photo ID to get into the Democrat’s own national convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2012.

Ana Quincoces, of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami, was arrested early Sunday morning after reportedly driving on a suspended license. According to reports, the reality star was in Key Largo, Florida, attempting to track down the new girlfriend of her former boyfriend.

On March 23, Gossip Extra revealed news of Ana Quincoces’ arrest, claiming she knowingly drove on a suspended license in the wee hours of Sunday morning, traveling to Key Largo from her home in Coral Gables.

A source alleged to Gossip Extra that Ana Quincoces was seen banging on the door of a home, where she believed her ex-boyfriend to be with his new girlfriend. When police arrived at the home, Quincoces’ driver’s license was discovered to be suspended. However, after being made aware of the issue, Quincoces chose to get back behind the wheel and attempt to drive away.

At that point, the 50-year-old Ana Quincoces was pulled over and arrested.

In an interview with Keys News Net on Monday, Ana Quincoces noted the issue as an “administrative glitch” and claimed police were “overzealous.” Police, however, told a different story.

“Quincoces was informed by me and Sgt. [Sydney] Whitehouse that her Florida drivers license had been suspended indefinitely” on February 9, and “she was not to drive,” Deputy Bryan Cross noted in his police report.

When she was pulled over nearby a Key Largo hotel, police “began to ask [Ana Quincoces] why she was driving the vehicle after being told not to drive… she was unable to provide a valid answer.”

Following the arrest, Ana Quincoces claimed she had decided to drive after her alleged disturbance because the home where she was staying in Fey Largo was infested with cockroaches.

“I just wanted to get home.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, there have been conflicting reports regarding the future of The Real Housewives of Miami, whose last season wrapped at the end of 2013.

In the latest report, via Radar Online, a source claimed production hadn’t yet begun on a potential fourth season.

“The show is NOT taping and, as of now, has neither been renewed or cancelled. It is still in limbo, but I can definitely confirm that the show is NOT taping.”

In a separate report by Rumorfix, a source claimed producers were waiting on Joanna Krupa and Lea Black before beginning to film.

Ana Quincoces was released from custody at the Plantation Key jail shortly after 5 a.m. on Sunday.

Regis Philbin and Hoda Kotb shared a little kiss while participating in the Twizzler Challenge on Today. According to E! News, Kathie Lee Gifford’s former co-host, and her current co-host participated in the challenge in an effort to raise money and awareness for autism — which is quickly becoming a “thing” among celebrities, and will likely catch on, not unlike last summer’s “ice bucket challenge,” which raised money and awareness for ALS.

Anyway, Regis and Hoda’s lip-lock went viral on social media, and it is totally worth the watch — even if it is a little uncomfortable.

“Let me look at your lips. She could swallow me. Honest to God, something’s going to happen here. I’ve never seen lips like that,” Regis said before going in for the kill, er, kiss. After planting a huge smooch on Hoda, Regis jokingly asked if she had a boyfriend (she does, she is dating Joel Schiffman, an investment banker from New York).

“That was pretty good. You’re all right. You got a boyfriend?” Regis jokingly asked.

Regis and Hoda’s kiss was a dare (of sorts) from Gifford. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Gifford completed the challenge with Matt Lauer last week. Their kiss also made waves on the internet, but wasn’t nearly as “popular” as the one shared between Regis and Hoda.

The Twizzler Challenge was actually started by Willie Geist (who completed the challenge with Meredith Vieira on The Today Show). Basically, two people each bite a separate end of a Twizzler candy, and eat it together (like a piece of spaghetti a la Disney’s Lady And The Tramp), all the way to the middle. When they meet, there is usually a kiss involved — sometimes it’s awkward, and sometimes it’s not.

The West Midlands area, deep in the heart of England, has thousands of years of haunting history, mystery, and paranormal happenings. Judging by the many calls to police by West Midlands’ residents making paranormal reports of ghosts, witches, and UFOs, that West Midlands’ haunting history and mystery seems to continue.

In just the past five years, the West Midlands Police have responded to over 150 calls from frightened residents claiming ghosts, witches, and UFOs are in their midst, reports the Daily Mail.

While many of these calls have left police stumped, with no ghosts, witches or UFOs to confront, pursue, or arrest, at least one report of a witch did lead to an arrest. Whether it was the witch who was arrested or the reporting party wasn’t made clear, however.

But the police in West Midlands do take resident reports of ghosts, witches, and UFOs very seriously, often offering advice and explanations regarding any paranormal activity when possible.

At the same time, bogus reports of ghosts, UFOs, witches, zombies, or anything claiming to be a paranormal encounter are taken equally serious.

“While the figures can seem amusing, behind some of these ‘supernatural’ calls may be a deeply troubled individual or a person wasting valuable police time, which would be better spent preventing real crimes,” said a West Midlands police spokesman. “West Midlands Police always take action against those found to be knowingly making false and malicious calls to the emergency services.”

While 911 is the emergency number to call in the U.S., in West Midlands and elsewhere in England, it’s 999, and 999 has been used surprisingly frequently by terrified West Midland residents calling police regarding the paranormal.

Forty of those 999 calls were to report ghosts, with UFO calls numbering about 30. But it’s the witches that seem to be the most unnerving for the people of West Midlands, with nearly 80 calls coming in to either report a witch or someone dabbling in witchcraft. The majority of these witch reports were deemed credible, or at least legitimate, with only eight turning out to be hoaxes.

The Birmingham Mail, caught up with local ghost expert, Nick Duffy, leader of paranormal group West Midlands Ghost, to get his thoughts on the high number of ghost, UFO, and witch reports received by police in West Midlands.

According to Duffy, the relatively high 150 ghost, witch, and UFO sightings are a recent phenomenon driven by an increased interest in the paranormal.

“When we started in 1989 we were the only (ghost hunting group) in the Midlands. Six years ago there were 70. I stopped counting after that. If you call a paranormal group, they will not come out of your house without something happening – and that is the real problem. These figures are also a by-product of (the television program) ‘Most Haunted’ and all the American rubbish.”

Duffy also isn’t surprised people call the police during or after a paranormal experience. While the number of reports seems to have increased, calling the police is nothing new.

“For people who experience things like poltergeist activity, the police have always been a go-to source,” he added.

So if you’re ever in West Moreland, keep your eyes to the sky for UFOs and witches, and don’t be surprised if a ghost or zombie creeps up on you in the night.

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are reportedly doing better ever since a cheating scandal nearly ruined their marriage. But, according to several reports, Kendra has kicked Hank out of her gym and is demanding a new diamond ring. It has fans now wondering what’s going on with Kendra and Hank’s marriage.

There’s nothing to worry about, apparently. Reality TV Magazine reported that Wilkinson is happier than ever these days. The reality star has been spending a lot more time at the gym lately, but that doesn’t mean she wants Baskett around. Wilkinson doesn’t feel comfortable working out with her husband around her.

An insider spoke to OK! Magazine about Kendra’s decision to kick Hank out of her gym, saying, “She needs alone time and her favorite place is the gym because she loves when guys check her out. Back in the day, they would have worked out together… Now it’s her rules – her gym.”

Wilkinson is also loving the attention on Instagram. The Kendra on Top star has been posting about her progress on the photo sharing app. Both her fans and Baskett has been commenting on her “lean and mean” body.

Kendra isn’t just demanding that Hank stays away from the gym, she’s also demanding that he gets her a new diamond ring soon. Radar Online reported that she wants him to buy her a new ring after he allegedly cheated on her with model Ava Sabrina London in 2014. Kendra reportedly threw her wedding ring down the toilet after she found out about Hank’s shocking cheating revelation. She had every right to be upset with her husband.

Another source close to Wilkinson is revealing that she wants a new ring in exchange for her old one.

“Kendra wanted a new ring and she made Hank buy it for her. Kendra is committed to making the relationship work and so she wanted to wear a big ring that would send a signal to everyone that she’s married and is staying married.

“She wanted something new and sparkly and she got what she wanted.”

Wilkinson obviously wants everyone to know that she’s still married to Hank Baskett. E! Online reported that the couple is working on their marriage.

Kendra told In Touch magazine, “We’re working on it minute-to-minute, every day. I believe we’re on the road to being better than ever. Sometimes you need a shake-up to get to a place you’ve never been before.”

Hank also talked about their troubled marriage. He agrees that he and Kendra are doing better than ever.

“Right now, we’re in a great place. I wish that when I was starting to feel depressed, [I’d been] able to communicate instead of trying to be strong and take out the world myself.”

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are also rumored to renew their vows sometime soon. Maybe Kendra’s new ring had to do with a vow renewal ceremony like the news site hinted about.

When police officers arrested a whole family in the aftermath of the Arizona Walmart brawl the entire family refused to divulge their names. The 17-person Walmart brawl was so intense that three people were shot, with one of the family members dying from his gunshot wounds.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves says the Walmart fight started with a store employee while in the store bathroom, but when police officers arrived the family went for their weapons.

“We do believe that there was a struggle for an officer’s weapon, there is an ongoing investigation on that,” Graves said. “This is a very complex investigation, we are still sorting things out and there are a lot of witnesses to talk to, so we are in the early stages. We were asked by Cottonwood police to conduct a criminal investigation.”

Witnesses of the Arizona Walmart brawl say they heard screaming and saw people running around while firing guns. One suspect was shot and killed by police while another suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The Walmart employee sustained a broken arm, but a police officer was shot in the leg and needed to be flown to a hospital for surgery. Seven other police officers sustained minor injuries.

Cottonwood police spokesman Sgt. Tod Moore says there have been three officer-involved shootings during his six years in investigations, but the Arizona Walmart brawl is unique because of the suspects.

“What makes this one unique was the whole family assaulting our officers,” Moore said, according to AZ Central. “It was out of the blue. This family has been in Cottonwood for a month or two.”

According to JRN, the Walmart shooting suspects have been identified as 52-year-old Ruth Gaver, 55-year-old Peter Gaver, 27-year-old Nathaniel Gaver, 27, and 28-year-old Jeremiah Gaver. Two unidentified juveniles from the Gaver family are currently in custody at the Prescott Juvenile Detention Center. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has identified Enoch Gaver as the man who died during the Walmart brawl.

The man who was shot in the stomach has been identified as David Gaver. He is currently hospitalized and is recovering from his gunshot wound.

The entire Gaver family had been living inside a Chevrolet Suburban parked in the Walmart parking lot for a couple of days. The family members were part of a local band that has been known as both Matthew 24 Now and Busking In The Son. Witnesses say the family had been panhandling by playing a guitar near the Walmart entrance. They also had a cardboard sign with a Bible verse written on it.

Peter, Nathaniel, Ruth and Jeremiah Gaver will appear in court on March 31, 2015. Due to the Arizona Walmart brawl, they have been charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, assault and hindering prosecution, and attempted homicide.

Steve Buscemi is the latest celebrity to get his name thrown into the old “gay or straight” meat grinder that the internet likes to run any time there is even the remotest question regarding a celebrity’s sexuality.

Some might think Buscemi brought this one on himself, but some rumor-mongering sites are speculating as a result of his involvement in the production of Check It, a new documentary that he’s co-producing, which centers on a gay street gang “of 14 22-year-olds struggling to survive in the city with the highest LGBT hate crime rate in the nation,” he explains in the introduction of his Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything).

Buscemi’s Q&A hit the top of the front page on Monday, and while he did share a number of interesting facts about his career, his focus was clearly on the film.

Most of the rumors about whether Steve Buscemi is gay stem from this answer to a question as to what inspired him to do the film and if he’d spent much time with the subjects of the film.

“I did not (unfortunately) spend plenty of time with the kids in the film. But I do hope to meet them. Right now, the film is still being worked on, and that’s why I’m doing this campaign. But I will say about these kids, you know, that I’ve seen in the documentary – they have tremendous heart, and tremendous courage, and I think they’re certainly – they have a rough go of it, you know. Every day. And I find their struggle really moving, and inspiring…. Well, you know, when I was their age, and growing up in the town that i grew up in, in the time that i grew up in, it was…it was… if you were gay, you could not let anybody know that. So to see these kids just really be who they are, and a lot of them are flamboyantly so, it kind of amazes me that there’s – even in this day and age, that I think is a lot more tolerant than when I grew up – there’s still a lot of hate out there, and especially where they live, it’s really dangerous. It’s quite dangerous for them to be who they are. And so they’ve banded together out of necessity- a lot of them come from broken homes – so they’ve created their own family with each other, so they really help and support each other, and I really admire that…. I really… uh, admire that they struggle every day to make a life for themselves.”

Buscemi also “outed” himself as a liberal after years of speculation considering his fireman roots. He professed to be an admirer of John Oliver, Larry Wilmore, and Jon Stewart.

But in all of that, there is no admission that Steve Buscemi is gay, and according to the Los Angeles Times, he’s been married to the same woman since 1987. (They have one son, born in 1990.)

Of course, given recent studies that show there are two million “mixed-orientation” marriages in the U.S. alone, this fact probably won’t end the debate.

The crying piccolo girl speaks out after several memes about her were created online. According to Sporting News, Roxanne Chalifoux became a topic on social media after she was filmed crying while playing the piccolo after Villanova lost to N.C. State over the weekend. Roxanne, a senior, got caught up in the moment, and couldn’t control her tears as she played her instrument at the very last game as an undergrad.

While hundreds of people had a laugh at Roxanne’s expense, she has since explained what that moment was like for her.

“I saw myself on the Jumbotron and all I could think about was that my dad was at the game. I didn’t want him to see me crying. Little did I know that it was going to end up all over the Internet and that (my dad seeing me crying) was the least of my worries. It’s just easy to get emotional, especially when you’re a senior. That just changed the game for me,” Roxanne explained.

News that the crying piccolo girl speaks has also been rather popular today, as everyone is curious to hear how she feels about her unintentional viral video. Although she is shy, she does seem to be embracing her fame. You can expect to see her on late-night television this week (she will be on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon either tonight or tomorrow night).

“I can’t even explain it. I think it’s like such a silly video and then that everyone just thinks it’s hysterical. People made it memes, people put Joe Biden with me. Oh my gosh, how can you miss it? I’ve just been taking it in good spirits. It doesn’t bother me, I think it’s funny,” she explained.

According to NewsOxy, Roxanne graduates in May, and has plans to attend optometry school in the fall.

Kim Kardashian is known for carefully planning out her selfies, but now the reality TV personality has succeeded in a photobomb that she didn’t even arrange. That’s because Kim K., Kanye West, and North West became the background stars in a selfie taken by Alice Bamford, a British heiress, reported the Daily Mail.

Alice is well-known in the United Kingdom as one of the wealthiest women in society after having inherited the JCB farm equipment dynasty. So how did this Close Encounter Of The Odd Kind occur?

Nobu just happens to be a popular Hollywood restaurant among the elite in Tinsel Town, and it’s also near one of Alice’s properties, which includes a restaurant and organic farm, One Gun Ranch, in Malibu.

So when the 39-year-old U.K. society matron decided to dine there with her daughter and take a selfie, she succeeded in capturing a photo that the most experienced paparazzi would envy, featuring Kim Kardashian with her husband and daughter also dining there.

A British heiress didn’t realize that Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and North West were sitting in perfect position for a photobomb.

Daughter of billionaire Sir Anthony Bamford and his wife, Lady Carole, Alice’s family owns the Daylesford Organics food brand. Alice previously co-produced The Darjeeling Limited and had her own record label.

Alice posted the photo on her Instagram page with a caption.

Initially unaware, Alice was quickly informed by followers of her Instagram account that her innocent selfie had gone viral, as well as just who she had unwittingly captured.

“Jesus @alibambam, this pic has gone viral! It’s popped up in Australia & Kate Ritchie (Sally from Home & Away) was talking about it on her radio show!”

Kim K. herself had previously announced plans to create an entire book dedicated to her carefully orchestrated selfies, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Entitled Selfish, the book will feature her best selfies, and she apparently has enough to fill up 352 pages. It’s scheduled to appear in April 2015.

No word yet on which of Kim’s many selfies that she’s shared on her own Instagram page will be featured in the book. But as the Inquisitr reported, Kim and Kanye have been traveling recently, including a trip where their PDA proved to be one of Paris Fashion Week’s highlights. Will a selfie featuring a photobomb of the Eiffel Tower be included?

Kim K. Photobomb Goes Viral As Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, And North West Show Up In British Heiress’ Selfie is an article from: The Inquisitr News

A mother of three was charged with murder after her partner arrived at their Florida home and discovered their children lying lifeless in their bedroom. The infant was found with a cord wrapped around his neck.

Palm Bay dispatch received a phone call from 33-year-old Jessica McCarty at 6 p.m. on Friday, stating that she had just killed her three children.

She also included that she had slit her wrist and was armed, indicating that she was in preparation of taking her own life.

After speaking with 911-dispatch, she began taking pictures of the bloodied mess from the killing to send to her boyfriend, Christopher Swist, who was the father her youngest son, 5-month-old Christopher.

Police believe it was an attempt to lure Swist to the home.

When Swist arrived, he discovered Jessica’s other two children from a previous relationship – Laci, 7, and Philip, 6, – lying lifeless in the bedroom. He found his son in the same room with a cord wrapped around his neck, but he was still alive.

Palm Bay police says that when they arrived at the home, Jessica was still covered in blood.

Laci and her brother, Phillip, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics rushed little Christopher to the hospital, but after three days of being on life support at the Florida Hospital for Children, he succumbed to his injuries.

Their community was shocked after hearing of the murders. Neighbor Chris Kapps told reporters at Florida Today that “The kids were very playful; it was a nice, polite family. It’s very tragic to hear something like this touching home, especially to young kids.”

A Florida medical examiner analyzed the bodies on Sunday and confirmed that the children had died from strangulation and had visible lacerations on the body. However, an autopsy report indicated that Laci had also been drowned.

“It’s difficult to understand why these things happen,” said Palm Bay Police Chief Mark Renkens. “The thought of children struggling for their lives is gut-wrenching.”

Police are unclear of the motive, but are executing a thorough background check on the suspect to find out why a mother would want to kill her children.

Renkens stated as follows.

“Indications are that there were some issues with their relationship… We do have leads. My understanding is that she made some utterances. But there’s nothing at this point that would have led us to believe she would have done what she did.”

Jessica was initially charged with two-counts of murder and attempted murder, but when 5-month-old Christopher died three days after the attack, her charges were upgraded.

Information regarding Jessica’s new charges have yet to be released.

Rumer Willis could soon be paying homage to mom Demi Moore’s work on Dancing With The Stars, but don’t expect a racy Striptease routine from the contestant.

Willis, who is seen as a frontrunner on the dancing competition, recently discussed the idea of doing a dance that honors the work of one of her famous parents, Demi Moore in particular. Her other parent is Bruce Willis.

While Rumer Willis said she would be open to paying homage to her mom or dad, she said it would need to be appropriate for the show.

E! Online noted that “they could not be more proud and supportive,” Rumer said. As for an homage to one of her parents’ characters, Rumer’s not ruling it out yet.

“It depends, for me, if it works with the song or dance I want to do,” she said. So could we see a G.I. Jane or Striptease dancing? “That might be a little too risqué for the show.”

Whether she finds a way to honor her parents or not, Rumer Willis seems to have earned her own way on the show. She has become a favorite among fans and is regarded as one of the most talented competitors this year. USA Today even came up with a list of the “3 Reasons Why Rumer Willis Is This Season’s Dancing Queen.”

Partner Val Chmerkovskiy, who knows exactly what it takes to win the competition, is high on his partner’s chances.

“She works really hard, she’s a performer, she’s an actress, she works well with characters and music,” Val said. “Her body just follows her mind and her energy.”

Rumer also has the support of her famous parents — and her one-time step-dad, as well. Ashton Kutcher, who was once married to Demi Moore, has remained close to Rumer and is reportedly pulling for her this season.

“They have texted and also keep in touch about life,” the source told Hollywood Life about Ashton and Rumer’s enduring relationship. “He is really proud of her and hopes the best for her and makes sure to watch her performance online if he doesn’t catch the show on DVR. He is very supportive and always wishes her luck via text.”

While she’s ruled out a racy Striptease dance, there is still a good chance that Rumer Willis finds a way to pay homage to her mom or dad. Past contestants have found a way to work some of their famous aspects into their routines, including Alfonso Ribeiro doing the “Carlton” dance last year.

A prominent UFO researcher has once again found what he says is something strange in a series of NASA images from the Helioviewer image browser — an “object” of some kind that he says can be seen to travel at nearly unimaginable speeds. And has has the animated GIF to prove it.

The NASA Helioviewer is a publicly available collection of 15 years worth of solar images from the SOHO satellite — the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, a satellite that pretty much does nothing but stare at the sun 24 hours a day, taking picture after picture.

And as often happens with images taken in space, UFO hunters locate numerous startling anomalies in the SOHO images. For example, on Christmas Eve last year the same, UFO blogger, Scott Waring of the popular site UFO Sightings Daily, spotted what he believed was a massive “UFO Mothership” emerging from the sun.

How a ship that would have to be approximately the size of the Earth itself could fly through the solar system unnoticed by the thousands of astronomers and satellites observing deep space on a constant basis — not to mention how any object could survive the intense heat of the sun at close range — was not entirely explained. Nonetheless, the solar images were striking.

The new images are less striking, but looked at the right way, do appear to show a disc-shaped “object” appearing at several spots at what must be only a few thousand miles from the solar surface. Check the above video, created by Waring using the Helioviewer software, to see the UFO near the sun.

Here is how Waring explained his latest find…

“This object is seen in 4 frames. Two close up and two far away. While looking at images of the sun I noticed that one object that looks like a disk, shoots off to a far distance and then shoots back to its original close position in just a matter of 10-15 minutes. For it to do that it would have to travel at incredible speed. I put the sequence into a gif so you can see just the object near the sun and how it shoots back and forth. The UFO appears at the 12 second mark.”

Look to the left of the solar flares to see the alleged UFO.

Of course, in past instances of similar white dots appearing on NASA photos taken in space, photo experts have explained the phenomena as “hot pixels.” In other words, flecks of digital dust that could turn up in any image. Is that all these Helioviewer sun images are? Or is this an actual UFO — as in alien spacecraft?

Liam Payne ignited an apocalyptic fandom face-off between the reasonable Beliebers and famously laid back Directioners when he hit back at a totally unnecessary tweet sent by a fan which unfavorably compared One Direction to Justin Bieber.

On Monday, a Ariana Grande-Biebs fan taunted him, asking, “@Real_Liam_Payne Isn’t it kinda depressing for you to know that Justin Bieber will always be more successful than you?”

An understandably miffed Payne fired back, “how many times have I been arrested.”

Flatline.

In nanoseconds, Beliebers and Directioners took up arms as they defended their idols with frothing abandon, diamond hard memes, and a total loss of fandom chill.

Justin Bieber fans rightfully brought up their boy’s months of apologies as good reason not to throw his missteps back in his face 24/7. Equally rightfully, One Direction fans tweeted that Payne didn’t start the drama and simply responded to a clearly rude tweet.

And the fan who started it all? Amid a flurry of rage tweets, she punched out the delightful “#BeliebersWantOneDirectionDead” hashtag. It didn’t catch on.

But “#LiamHasNoChill” did, and easily soared to the top of trending topics on Twitter in the U.S and worldwide. Gossip Cop reports Beliebers used the hashtag first to mock Payne’s evident anger. However, Directioners “took it over” and proceeded to use it to bask in the reflected glow of their boy’s sass.

Cue back and forth between Bieber fans and 1D/Payne devotees. “LiamHasNoChill” was still riding high by Tuesday morning. Then it was gone. But not forgotten.

Payne’s Twitter blast at Justin Bieber (although, really, it was more likely over that fan’s question), came after he incurred Directioners’ wrath when he teasingly covered up band mate Zayn Malik’s face, following Malik’s temporary exit from the group’s tour due to love life “stress.”

After some Directioners slammed him for that, Liam tweeted, “Some people can’t take a joke … Bit of banter guys chill out.”

All in all, the behavior of Payne, some Beliebers, and some Directioners was typical Twitter one-upmanship and isn’t terribly important. For his part, Bieber stayed out of the trenches. After nearly two years of this stuff, does anyone blame him for sitting out yet another Twitter bashing?

Famous composers can be from a bygone era (think Bach) or hitting the airwaves today, as composers of movie scores and other modern phenomena, but composers, famous or not, are generally human. At least they were until recently. In his 2014 video, “Humans Need Not Apply,” CGP Grey reminds the world that humans don’t have a monopoly on creativity, and artistic humans aren’t so special after all.

“But perhaps you are unfazed because you’re a special creative snowflake. Well, guess what: you’re not that special.”

The background music for the video is by composer Emily Howell. She may be a famous (or about to become famous) composer, but Howell isn’t human. She’s a music program created by music professor David Cope.

When questioned about her attitude towards her place in the world, Howell said, “Life and un-life exist. We coexist. I do not see problems.”

Howell isn’t the only composer who has a confused identity. Some of the most famous of composers haven’t been unable to make a living with their art, though musicians down the centuries perform their music. According to the Guardian, even famous composers have had a lot of unrelated jobs to keep the rent paid.

“They’ve been cab drivers, mystics and ornithologists. One was even a prime minister. Meet music’s greatest multi-taskers.”

It turns out that Borodin, whose music was used in the Broadway musical Kismet, was also a talented chemist who was one of the first to suggest that high cholesterol was a risk factor for heart disease.

Philip Glass, already famous as a composer, was interrupted at his other work — as a plumber — by the art critic of Time.

“While working, I suddenly heard a noise and looked up to find Robert Hughes, the art critic of Time magazine, staring at me in disbelief. ‘But you’re Philip Glass! What are you doing here?’ It was obvious that I was installing his dishwasher and I told him I would soon be finished. ‘But you are an artist,’ he protested. I explained that I was an artist but that I was sometimes a plumber as well and that he should go away and let me finish.”

Can non-human composers write better music than human moonlighting composers? It may be too early to tell, but Flight of the Conchords, famous in a different world as composers of folk rock comedy music, think an artificial replacement for humans is coming our way.

Let’s hope if it happens, life and un-life can co-exist.

Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel still aren’t friends. Years after their falling out on The Real Housewives of New York City, Zarin has confirmed she and Frankel are still on the outs — and revealed why their friendship is over for good.

In a sneak peek clip from the upcoming episode of The Love & Sex Report, via a March 24 report by Radar Online, host Jill Zarin explained why she and Frankel will never be friends again, claiming it was all caused by Frankel’s lies about how she got her role on The Real Housewives of New York City.

“She had always told the truth in the past, that Bobby had come up to her and asked if she wanted to be on the show that Jill was doing.”

Jill Zarin alleged that it was her and her husband, Bobby, who approached Frankel about the series, and said she’d always told the truth until an interview in 2010. During Frankel’s Today show interview, Frankel “changed the story,” according to Jill Zarin, and failed to give her and her husband their proper credits.

“This time, she told Matt Lauer that the producers came to her and they wanted her. And it was a lie! And I got really hurt. It was just like, the last straw.”

Both Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City‘s first season as the series’ original wives, along with Alex McCord, Ramona Singer, and LuAnn de Lesseps. However, after Season 3, Frankel moved on from the show, and began filming her own series, Bethenny Getting Married, with Jason Hoppy, her since-estranged husband. After three seasons with her spinoff, which was later renamed Bethenny Ever After, Frankel said goodbye to Bravo — but only briefly.

Following her highly publicized split from Hoppy, Frankel returned to The Real Housewives of New York City for the series’ seventh season. Around the same time, as the Inquisitr reported, Jill Zarin was rumored to be returning to the show, as well, but that rumor was quickly set straight.

“I appreciate all the love and support but I have moved on and away from the past,” Jill Zarin explained, according to a report by AllAboutTRH in January.

“It was not healthy for me. But I will still be on tv but under different circumstances.”

The Real Housewives of New York City‘s Season 7 premiere airs, sans Jill Zarin, on April 7 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Recently announced presidential candidate Ted Cruz has announced that he’s signing up for Obamacare after establishing himself as one of its leading opponents.

According to CNN, Cruz is not going on Obamacare as some kind of political stunt or ironic joke, he legitimately needs the insurance. Ted Cruz used to enjoy a large health care package through his wife’s employer, Goldman Sachs. But Heidi Cruz has decided to take an unpaid leave of absence to help her husband on his campaign trail, which nullifies the hefty sum of health insurance Ted Cruz had. To get insured, Ted Cruz has decided to go through the United States government, joining millions of other Americans on the federal exchange despite having filibustered to keep the bill from passing.

According to Time, Ted Cruz announced his decision to sign up for Obamacare on Tuesday, doing his best to justify his seemingly hypocritical move.

“I believe we should follow the text of every law, even [a] law I disagree with. It’s one of the real differences—if you look at President Obama and the lawlessness, if he disagrees with a law he simply refuses to follow it or claims the authority to unilaterally change.”

Even though Ted Cruz was implicitly supporting legislation he worked so hard to fight, he used the publicity of his decision to sign up as an opportunity to oppose President Obama’s policies.

“I strongly oppose the exemption that President Obama illegally put in place for members of Congress because (Senate Minority Leader) Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats didn’t want to be under the same rules as the American people,” Cruz explained, and repeated “I believe we should follow the text of the law.”

Ted Cruz spoke to the Des Moines register about applying for Obamacare and admitted that he would be among millions of other Americans who have sought health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

“We’ll be getting new health insurance and we’ll presumably do it through my job with the Senate,” he said. “And so we’ll be on the federal exchange with millions of others on the federal exchange.”

But the presidential hopeful is still defying Obamacare in the small ways he can, such as denying the special treatment that members of Congress get for coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Members of the legislative branch and their staff are eligible to receive a “government contribution” when paying for Obamacare, but certain lawmakers like Ted Cruz turn the offer down to make a point.

A SeaWorld trainer speaks out after leaving the company, and he wants the world to know his truth. According to NewsMax, John Hargrove released a new book called Beneath the Surface: Killer Whales, Seaworld, and the Truth Beyond “Blackfish.” In the book, he talks about his time as a trainer, and how he came to realize that Orcas shouldn’t be in captivity. He also talks about the mistreatment of these majestic mammals, and just how terrible he feels his former employer is.

“As I became higher-ranked, I saw the devastating effects of captivity on these whales and it just really became a moral and ethical issue. When you first start to see it, you first try to say, ‘OK, well, I love these animals; I’m going to take care of them.’… You think, ‘I can change things.’ And then all these things, of course, never improve and then you start… seeing mothers separated from their calves; you start seeing trainers being killed, and then they blame [the trainers] for their own deaths,” Hargrove said in an interview with NPR.

The SeaWorld trainer who is speaking out says that he wants to help the whales in any way that he can. Since he couldn’t change things while he was employed by SeaWorld, he feels as though telling his story will do a greater good — and that’s what he plans on doing.

According to People Magazine, Hargrove has spoken out about SeaWorld in the past, too. He was actually a part of Blackfish, along with six other former SeaWorld trainers. He talked about the death of Dawn Brancheau, who was killed when an Orca grabbed her by the hair, and dragged her underwater in his tank.

Hargrove and the others also discussed the company’s “inhumane practices,” which have since deterred thousands of people from paying park admission. After seeing Blackfish, people have promised to boycott SeaWorld, and they hope that the company stops keeping killer whales in swimming pools.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Hargrove does not believe that SeaWorld cares for these whales. He has accused the company of being cult-like, and he says that employees who want to leave are often threatened, which is why Hargrove says he stayed for so long. After his friend Dawn was killed, however, he knew that he had to get away.

Hargrove says that SeaWorld is having a hard time keeping their heads above water, thanks perhaps in part to his efforts, and the efforts of those who took part in the Blackfish documentary.

“Despite what SeaWorld says they are definitely not thriving, and they’re not even surviving.”

SeaWorld Trainer Speaks Out: ‘Beneath The Surface’ Tells Tale Of A Terrible SeaWorld, Mistreated Orcas is an article from: The Inquisitr News

Pennsylvania police officer Lisa Mearkle has been charged with criminal homicide, after investigators concluded she shot an unarmed and incapacitated driver twice in the back while he lay facedown on the ground.

The incident took place on February 2, according to the Associated Press, when Mearkle attempted to pull over 59-year-old David Kassick for expired inspection and emissions tags. Kassick sped away, and Mearkle gave chase, catching up with him near his sister’s house. After Kassick exited his vehicle and ran, Mearkle incapacitated the unarmed man with a stun gun held in her left hand. According to authorities, she then shot him twice in the back with a gun held in her other hand while he lay facedown on the ground.

Mearkle has alleged that she shot Kassick because he refused to show his hands, claiming that she believed he was reaching inside his jacket for a gun. Her stun gun, however, is equipped with a camera, according to the Guardian, and recorded portions of the encounter. According to district attorney Ed Marsico, Kassick appears in the video to be attempting to remove the stun gun darts from his back.

“At the time Officer Mearkle fires both rounds from her pistol, the video clearly depicts Kassick lying on the snow covered lawn with his face toward the ground,” the arrest affidavit states. “Furthermore, at the time the rounds are fired nothing can be seen in either of Kassick’s hands, nor does he point or direct anything toward Officer Mearkle.”

Mearkle waited four seconds between shots, and performed CPR on Kassick after shooting him. Alcohol and unspecified drugs were found in Kassick’s system after he was killed, and a syringe was discovered near his body. Lawyers for Kassick’s family confirmed that he struggled with addiction.

Christopher Slusser, one of the family’s attorneys, noted that Kassick had died as a result of a routine stop.

“He should not be dead. He should not have died as a result of that traffic stop. And the manner in which he was shot — you can infer from that what you will.”

Earlier this month, police in Georgia shot and killed an unarmed, mentally unstable man. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Anthony Hill was naked when he charged an officer, who fired twice, killing him.

Mearkle has been jailed without bail following the charges. The police department released a statement saying they had cooperated fully with the investigation, calling the shooting of the unarmed man by Lisa Mearkle “an extremely difficult case for all involved.”
