Executives at the Ion network have continued to acquire popular USA Network television shows. On Sunday, the popular USA shows Burn Notice and White Collar were picked up for their rerun potential.

White Collar and Burn Notice join a growing list of popular USA Network and other network shows to air on Ion.

Ion now feature reruns for the popular shows Criminal Minds, Cold Case, House, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, among others.

Brandon Burgess, chairman and CEO of ION Media Networks says of the Burn Notice and White Collar acquisition:

Fans of Burn Notice may flock to Ion in an attempt to catch reruns of the show when it ends. Burn Notice is currently airing its seventh and final season.

In the meantime, White Collar is still going strong and will return for a fifth season this fall.

Both Burn Notice and White Collar are top-rated scripted shows for the adults 25-34 demographic.

The relationship between USA Network and Ion reminds us a lot of the Fox TV and FX relationship which has yielded some great season reruns. The Fox relationship with FX, however, is brought about by ownership in both company’s on behalf of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.

Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert has wed longtime boyfriend and NHL star Dion Phaneuf.

Cuthbert and her Toronto Maple Leafs captain husband wed on Saturday at Prince Edward Island.

According to the National Post more than 300 guests were on-hand for the couple’s massive wedding reception.

Elisha Cuthbert and Dion Phaneuf exchanged vows at St. James Catholic Church in Summerfield.

Toronto Star reporter Rosie DiManno was reporting on the event via live-Tweets while she stood outside of the church and reception areas. DiManno reports that Cuthbert and Phaneuf went with a maple leaves theme which seems fitting for both Phaneuf’s career and Canada in general.

Elisha Cuthbert’s bridesmaids wore pale pink fishtail gowns while the bride was chauffeured to the ceremony in a black Chevrolet Camaro convertible.

After the wedding Reverend Paul Egan told The Post:

“It’s a big wedding. Probably the biggest I’ve ever done in my 46 years, as far as the celebrity part of it goes.”

In case you are wondering why Elisha Cuthbert and her new hubby chose Prince Edward Island, it has been their favorite choice for a vacation spot over the last five summers spent together.

The outdoor wedding was followed by a party with family and friends which ended with fireworks over the water.

Elisha Cuthbert and Dion Phaneuf began dating five years ago and the NHL star popped the question in early 2012. Phaneuf proposed to his wife in front of 35 friends during a lobster dinner.

According to witnesses who experienced the engagement Dion Phaneuf provided his future wish with a “huge ring” that was hard to ignore.

This is a much happier occasion then Cuthbert’s Twitter eye roll controversy which led fans of the actress to defend her actions.

During a parade in North Carolina on July 4, a “White History Month” float stirred up controversy.

In a time when you would think racial insensitivity would have faded, an Independence Day float in North Carolina had spectators outraged and shocked. A float filled with watermelons and pulled by a John Deere tractor ran through a parade for the national holiday in Hope Mills. The sign on the float said “White History Month. Hug WTE PPL.” The tractor itself was decked out with a confederate flag, apparently celebrating racism.

The intent seemed to be blatant disrespect for the African-American community and a reminder of a time when things weren’t as peaceable. It’s things like this that only fuel the cries of racism across America.

Hope Mills, North Carolina resident Suzanne Singletary told ABC News, “This should be over, all that stuff should be over. I don’t understand why people are still living like this.”

Apparently the permit for the “White History Month” float had been authorized before the owner changed his plans. Local farmer Donnie Spell had applied for and was granted a permit to participate in the parade, and the sign was supposed to say, “Watermelons for sale.” He had apparently been planning to change the terms of the permit and turn it into a blatant show of racism.

Hope Mills Mayor Jackie Warner received numerous complaints about the float and plans to have the review board look closer at the permit application process in the future so such atrocities as this don’t happen again. She said we all need to be sure we are sensitive to all people’s feelings.

One can only hope that the North Carolina law enforcement will see fit to punish Donnie Spell for his apparent change of terms in such a public display so as to discourage anyone from trying something so offensive again. Displays such as this make everyone look bad on both sides of the fence.

Asiana Airlines plane crash victims are suffering from injuries that range from “severe road rash” to paralysis, according to doctors. While 123 passengers walked away from the crash landing, 182 people were hospitalized and two died.

The Boeing 777 crash landed at San Francisco International Airport Saturday afternoon after it appeared to hit a seawall. The airplane rotated counterclockwise and came to a stop.

Dr. Margaret Knudson, San Francisco General Hospital’s chief of surgery, explained, “We were expecting a lot of burns. But we didn’t see them.”

Nineteen plane crash victims remained at San Francisco General on Sunday, six in critical condition. Knudson explained that many of those injured were sitting toward the back of Asiana Airlines Flight 214.

She added that abdominal injuries, spine fractures, and head trauma have been the most prevalent injuries. Some of the spine fractures have resulted in paralysis. Many patients were also treated for what Knudson called “severe road rash,” suggesting “that they were dragged.”

While victims of the terrifying plane crash recover in the hospital, officials announced that the two dead passengers were 16-year-old girls from China. Wang Linjia and Ye Mengyuan were part of a student group from Jiangshan Middle School in the country’s eastern Zhejiang province.

Knudson also commended emergency responders, who were able to perform triage once passengers were outside of the crashed plane. She stated that without their help, she “didn’t think they would have survived.”

Doctors believe they have only been treating passengers from the crash. However, many of them have not yet been identified. Because of this, Dr. Knudson suggested that some of the patients may have been flight attendants for Asiana.

Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board recovered the plane’s black boxes, which were sent to Washington, D.C., for analysis. The group has not yet spoken with the pilot of the crashed plane. The NTSB is working with Boeing, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Korean Air and Accident Investigation Board to discover what caused the deadly plane crash.

Beyonce and Solange Knowles were a little too busy to attend their father Mathew Knowles’ wedding. Beyonce’s little sister played at the Superdome last night for Essence Fest and Beyonce will take the stage tonight.

Mathew Knowles married Gena Avery this weekend in Houston, Texas after a year and a half engagement. Apparently, Mr. Knowles didn’t coordinate with his daughters about their plans over Fourth of July weekend.

Matthew said: “Unfortunately, Beyonce and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend.”

Solange Knowles isn’t known as a stadium singer (she’s a little more Indie than her big sister) but she held her own in front of the Essence Fest crowd.

The singer draws inevitable comparisons to her big sister but Solange stated back in 2009 on the song “God Given Name” that she is “not becoming expectations. I’m not her and never will be.”

Solange does share her sister’s sense of style but musically they’re pretty different. Solange has no problem stepping back and letting her band mates take center stage for instrumental solos but knows when to take over and make the crowd dance.

NOLA.com notes that the singer got the crowd moving when the singer played her hit “Losing You.”

Asiana Airlines Flight 214 tried to abort its landing before Saturday’s fatal plane crash at San Francisco International Airport.

The news comes from a statement by National Transportation Safety Board chief Deborah Hersman at a news conference on Sunday. She added that the recorder showed a call to increase airspeed about two seconds before the impact.

A federal safety official also stated on Sunday that the cockpit voice recorder from the crashed plane showed that the airliner attempted to abort its landing 1.5 seconds before the crash. However, before that there was no indication that the aircraft was having any issues.

Investigators recovered the plane’s two black boxes and sent them to Washington, D.C., for examination. They will also interview passengers, the crew, and the pilots. The knowledge that the Asiana flight tried to abort its landing seconds before impact will likely be a talking point with the plane’s crew and pilots. Hersman stated on Sunday’s Meet the Press:

“I think we’re very thankful that the numbers were not worse when it came to fatalities and injuries. It could have been much worse.”

Officials announced that two people lost their lives in the plane crash and 182 people were injured, while 123 other passengers walked away.

Clues have started to emerge following the plane crash as to what may have happened. Officials have already ruled out a mechanical error, making it possible that the accident may have been caused by pilot error instead. Witnesses recalled seeing the airplane hit something before it turned counterclockwise and came to rest on the runway.

Mike Barr, a former military pilot and accident investigator, suggested that it is possible the landing gear or the plane’s tail hit the seawall. If that happened, then the aircraft would have been slammed into the runway. San Francisco International Airport borders the San Francisco Bay. Because of this, it has a wall at the end of the runway that prevents planes from sliding off the end and into the water.

Witnesses also recalled that the plane was very low to the ground before impact. They added that it sounded like the plane’s engines revved before impact, suggesting that the pilots realized how low the aircraft was and attempted to pull up. The witness testimony backs up the flight recorder’s statement that the Asiana flight attempted to abort its landing.

There have been several photos and videos floating around the internet this weekend showing the aftermath of the plane crash at the San Francisco International Airport but a new video surfaced today which actually shows the moment of impact.

Witnesses described the scene this weekend saying that the Boeing 777 did “cartwheels” down the runway after crashed into the ground while landing at SFO. The plane, which was identified as Asiana Airlines Flight 214, lost its tail during the crash and toppled end over end down the runway.

Two people were killed in the crash, there were 291 passengers on board, and several more were injured. Asiana Airlines should consider itself lucky, however, since the moment of impact was so violent that it’s surprising that the death toll was only two.

Fire chief Hayes-White said: “Having surveyed that area, we’re lucky that there hasn’t been a greater loss.”

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee added: “We’re lucky we have this many survivors.”

The FAA is currently investigating the cause of the crash and will likely take a look at the video showing the moment of impact. The video appears to show the plane’s tail touching the ground first. It’s unclear if there was a pilot or an instrument error.

Brett Favre’s No. 4 Jersey will likely be retired by the 2016 NFL season now that Favre and Packer’s management have kissed and made up.

It was Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who argued back in May that the No. 4 jersey should be taken out of Packers rotation.

Recently Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy told reporters he wanted Brett Favre “back in the family.”

On Saturday the teams CEO wrote on the Packers website that Favre “deserves to have his number retired for what he accomplished and meant to the Packers during his time here.”

Murphy further explains his decision to call for the Brett Favre jersey retirement:

“I thought Aaron Rodgers and Brett jointly presenting the Comeback Player of the Year Award at the NFL Honors program was a great first step. It is really just a question of timing in terms of retiring his jersey. The timing has to be right for both Brett and the organization. Brett will be a first ballot Hall of Famer in 2016, and we would like to retire his number prior to his induction.”

With the Green Bay Packers ramping up for a “Brett Day” an Lambeau field it makes sense that the team would be working towards a Brett Favre jersey retirement.

Following Brett Favre’s decision to join the Minnesota Vikings many fans turned on their once favorite quarterback. It wasn’t until recently that Favre and Packers management began to speak with one another after a few years of strained relationships.

Retiring the famed quarterbacks jersey would allow fans to “heal” their wounds while also solidifying Brett Favre’s place in the hearts and minds of the Packers most deeply invested followers.

Fans love iconic players who helped mold their teams and with the No. 4 jersey forever on display at Lambeau Field we have a feeling the Green Bay Packers fan base will ultimately look back on Brett Favre with fond memories and not thoughts of betrayal.

A new report from the Center Of Investigative Reporting has found that nearly 150 female inmates were sterilized without state approval between 2006 and 2010.

According to the report, at least 148 female inmates received tubal ligations from state doctors during that five year period. Interviews and state documents indicate that another 100 prisoners could have received the procedure between 2006 and 1997.

The female prisoners were reportedly coerced into having the procedure. Sabee reports that women were signed up for the surgery while they were pregnant. The women, who were housed at the California Institution for Women in Corona or Valley State Prison for Women in Chowchilla, were reportedly targeted if officials found that they were at risk of returning to prison.

Christina Cordero, a former inmate at Valley State Prison, said: “As soon as [the institution's OB-GYN Dr. James Heinrich] found out that I had five kids, he suggested that I look into getting it done. The closer I got to my due date, the more he talked about it. He made me feel like a bad mother if I didn’t do it … Today, I wish I would have never had it done.”

Valley State OB-GYN, Dr. James Heinrich, denied pressuring any inmates to get the procedure. The 69-year-old physician said that he was surprised to learn that contract doctors charged for the procedure but added that the $147,460 total was small compared to the money taxpayers would have spent on welfare for more unwanted children.

Heinrich said: “Over a 10-year period, that isn’t a huge amount of money compared to what you save in welfare paying for these unwanted children – as they procreated more.”

The CIR interviewed several inmates who felt that they were either pressured into being sterilized or misinformed about the procedure.  Nikki Montano, 42, who was at Valley State in 2008, said: “I figured that’s just what happens in prison – that that’s the best kind of doctor you’re going get,” Montano said. “He never told me nothing about nothing.”

A surfer who was found with shark bites in May actually killed himself before the shark got to him.

Brandon Beaver was found face down in the water in La Jolla, Calif. with shark bites all over him. Everyone thought a shark killed him until an autopsy report revealed that he died before he was bitten by the shark.

“There was no evidence whatsoever that his death was due to shark attack, as all findings indicated postmortem marine animal activity,” the autopsy report states.

Although the surfer found with shark bites wasn’t under the influence of drugs or alcohol, he did have a history of mental illness. According to his fiancee, Beaver had a history of depression, bipolar disorder and suicidal thoughts. He also was stressed about financial and family problems.

When investigators first discovered Beaver’s body, they admitted that there were strange findings. For example, his truck was found in a nearby beach area with the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition.

His wetsuit was also taken off and tied around his surfboard. “That someone would take their wet suit off while they’re out at sea, and then tie it around their surf board and then disappear — I’ve never seen anything like it,” Lt. Everhart, a 29-year lifeguard veteran, said.

One surfer who was by the area said that he found it strange how far out Beaver was. “He was really, really far out there. Like double the distance of where the other surfers were at the time,” surfer Tommy Calagna said.

Surfer Neil Ratnavira also saw Beaver in the water that day. “He was having a rough time paddling out there because it was choppy and windy, but no indication he was out there to take his own life,” he said.

It really is a shame that the surfer found with shark bites actually took his own life.

Minutes after the crash landing of Asiana Flight 214 an announcement was made that the plane had landed safely, according to a survivor.

The passenger told ABC News that the announcement also reiterated that everyone should remain in their seats, but he knew that something was not right, as flames could be seen outside the plane and smoke was making its way into the cabin.

Lee Jang Hyung, 32, was sitting with his wife Lee Jee Young, 33, and his 15-month-old son in the front row of the plane’s economy class section. His parents-in-law were sitting in business class.

Hyung, who was clearly shaken by the events, said that he and all of his family escaped alive, but his mother-in-law suffered some bruises.

“Just minutes before landing, I looked out the window and realized the plane’s angle was strangely tilted. The seawater level did not look right,” said the crash Hyung, a Korean citizen who lives near Berkeley, California.

The crash survivor says that suddenly the tail end of the plane hit the ground, which made the aircraft bounce upward and then hit the ground with a bam.

“This time it felt like the entire plane hit parallel, but tilted to the left. That pressure was huge. Very strong. I saw luggags fall from the top. And the plane gradually stopped. Until then, there was no warning. The drop happened without a warning,” he said.

Still stunned by the crash, he said, “We heard an announcement saying the plane has safely landed and everyone should stay put.”

Hyung said he put an oxygen mask on his young son and ran to the door.

“But I was turned back to my seat by the flight attendants. Right when I came back to my seat, I saw smoke and fire outside the right window. The flames were spreading and smoke started to come inside the aircraft. I grabbed my wife and son and ran to the exit door. By then, they had slides ready,” he said.

The crash survivor said that his in-laws saw that one of the flight attendants get injured when some kind of computer fell on her while she sat in her assigned seat.

Hyung complained that the passengers ordeal didn’t end when they left the plane and they had to wait for hours with no food or diapers for his child. After complaining, authorities finally got him clean diapers, but he was told that all survivors had to be interviewed by the FBI.

The injured were taken to hospitals, but the other passengers “are all waiting for directions,” the crash survivor stated.

Crash Survivor Says Intercom Announcement Claimed That Plane Landed Safely is a post from: The Inquisitr

A Third Amendment violation isn’t something the typical American expects to see when they read the news. The legislation is a dusty one that forbids forcefully quartering soldiers in people’s homes during times of peace without the consent of the owner.

But according to a lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the District of Nevada (and reported by Courtroom News last week), the Henderson Police Department may have done just that.

Plaintiff Anthony Mitchell and his parents Michael and Linda Mitchell were arrested for refusing to allow the Henderson Police access to Anthony Mitchell’s home for the purpose of gaining a “tactical advantage” against Mitchell’s neighbor.

The complaint states that there was a domestic violence call coming from the neighbor’s home, and Officer Christopher Worley telephoned Mitchell to explain.

From the court documents: “Mitchell told the officer that he did not want to become involved and that he did not want police to enter his residence. Although Worley continued to insist that plaintiff should leave his residence, plaintiff clearly explained that he did not intend to leave his home or to allow police to occupy his home. Worley then ended the phone call.”

Worley was named in the Third Amendment lawsuit along with Officers David Cawthorn and Sgt. Michael Waller. The complaint continued stating that Cawthorn “outlined the defendants’ plan in his official report: ‘It was determined to move to 367 Evening Side and attempt to contact Mitchell. If Mitchell answered the door he would be asked to leave. If he refused to leave he would be arrested for Obstructing a Police Officer. If Mitchell refused to answer the door, force entry would be made and Mitchell would be arrested.’”

And according to the allegations, that’s exactly what the officers did, breaking in to Mitchell’s house and “addressing plaintiff as ‘asshole’,” shooting Mitchell and his pet dog Sam with “pepperball” rounds and making the arrest.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first report in the last week of police potentially overreaching their authority, as with the case of the Hawthorne, California, dog shooting, which was captured on video. Coincidentally, in that case, the owner said he suspected the shooting was in retaliation to a 2012 lawsuit he’d filed against the Hawthorne Police Department for the use of excessive force and false imprisonment.

So Heidi Klum went to the Bahamas, bared her butt, got sunburned, and just generally had a way better time than you did on this extended Fourth of July weekend. You know that person who always has way cooler and better pictures to post to Instagram than you do?

Heidi Klum is that person, and she seems to have tweeted her entire vacation to make sure that you know about it.

On the Fourth of July she got all her ducks in a row and squeezed into an itty bitty white bikini so that she could wave the flag.

For some reason it looks like a better use of her time than going on an anti-fireworks rampage or any of a dozen other fireworks-related ways the rest of us spent this weekend. She may be 40, but she still has a professional model’s figure — and she knows how to wear a bikini.

Somehow, as a consequence of all this fun and sun, she managed to get badly sunburned. By July 6, Heidi Klum was pulling down her bikini bottom to show off the contrast between her bare butt and her sun-blistered skin. Ouch.

Heidi Klum Bares Butt, Gets Sunburn, Has More Fun Than You In Bahamas is a post from: The Inquisitr

Portland, OR – An innovative Pay It Forward, Pay It Back plan, unanimously approved by the Oregon state legislature, may ease the economic dread for future students wanting to get a higher education by essentially making college tuition free.

With recent student loan interest rate increases and tuition costs climbing steadily every year, a soon-to-be college freshman may find the expense just too much to bear and abandon the goal of a degree. But the concept of the Pay It Forward program would allow students to attend public universities tuition free and loan free.

In exchange, four-year degree earning students would have 3 percent deducted from their post-graduation paychecks for up to 24 years thereafter, reports the CNN. Two-year college grads would repay at a 1.5 percent rate and those who attend some college but fail to graduate would pay a pro-rated portion.

The collected reserve would be specifically earmarked to fund future students, permitting them the same educational opportunities. Oregon is the first state to undertake a Pay-It-Forward model.

If the plan were to take effect, it would provide some relief to students who were unable to translate their degree into a high-paying job. And taking a small percentage would ensure the likelihood the individual would be able to afford coffer replenishment verses paying it back with high interest student loans.

The Pay It Forward concept was originated by the Economic Opportunity Institute, a Seattle based nonprofit policy group, and was designed in response to the declining availability of public funds for higher education in the state, reports the Huffington Post.

However, one looming issue that still must be resolved is how to fund the program’s start-up costs, which have been estimated at $9 billion – as initial students who attend tuition-free would be years away from entering the labor force and beginning repayment.

Steve Hughes – state director of the Oregon Working Families Party, a group that lobbied alongside Portland State University students – said, “This is going to happen because students demand change; I believe that firmly. The conditions are just absolutely ripe for this. We’ve heard so many stories of student debt that are just beyond belief.”

The bill is expected to be signed sometime this month by Governor John Kitzhaber.

Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of Secretary of state, John Kerry has been rushed to hospital and is reported to be in a critical condition.

A spokesman for the Massachusetts hospital, where Mrs Heinz Kerry has been admitted, said that she was seen in the emergency room at around 3.30 p.m. on Sunday. Although her condition is critical, the Secretary of states’s wife is said to be “stable.”

The hospital spokesman was hush hush about the 74 year-old’s condition and wouldn’t give any further details as to the reasons why she was admitted to the hospital.

He also made no comment about her condition, simply confirming that she had been “stabilized”

Police officer Jerry Adams confirmed that an emergency 911 call was made on Sunday afternoon. A medical team were dispatched to a property on Hulbert Avenue, known to be connected to Teresa Heinz Kerry and her family.

The Kerry family had been celebrating Independence day at their family home when the call came in to dispatch.

It has proved almost impossible so far to get any kind of clear statement as to the precise situation with Mrs Heinz Kerry.

A source close to the Kerry family said only that she: ”Suffered some kind of medical episode.”

The statement has left the details of the “medical incident” more ambiguous than clear, as media sources try to get more information on the state of Mrs Heinz Kerry’s health.

It is known that Teresa Heinz Kelly is a breast cancer survivor and it is possible that this is the reason she has been readmitted to hospital.

Jim Carrey may have had a change of heart in his ongoing feud with gun owners and Second Amendment advocates. He is giving them some love instead.

The actor and vocal supporter of strict gun control laws took to Twitter today to apologize for the tone of his past comments. Even though he still strongly disagrees with them, the actor said on Twitter that he was sorry that he engaged in name callling in his outrage over gun violence such as that occurred at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

You’ll recall that back in March, Carrey — who has admitted to having an armed bodyguard — mocked the late Charlton Heston in a Funny or Die video that rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Heston, the Hollywood legend and Oscar winner for Ben Hur, was a strong supporter of gun rights and served as president of the National Rifle Association from 1998 to 2003. As the controversy over the video expanded on social media, Carrey referred to gun owners as “heartless motherf*****s on Twitter.

Carrey also got into a war-of-words with some Fox News commentators in the gun control debate over the “Cold Dead Hand” video that seemed to be a cheap shot against the respected actor who passed away in 2008 after suffering for years from Alzheimer’s disease.

Carrey, 51, recently stirred things up again when he announced that he was unwilling to promote his new movie Kick-Ass 2 in which he plays Colonel Stars and Stripes. In late June, Carrey condemned the new film when he tweeted “I did Kickass a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence.”

With his latest tweets, Carrey, whose acting career has been on the decline for some time, appears to be trying to mend fences with assault rifle owners and gun owners generally.

The Coke ice bottle hit Colombian beaches last month, and according to a press release from the company, vendors are reporting sales in excess of 265 bottles every hour.

The “Fria hasta la ultimo gota” initiative, or “Cold to the last drop,” consists of a silicone mold, shaped like Coke’s traditional glass bottle and filled with water that is then frozen to -25°C.

To keep hands from getting cold, the company equipped each Coke ice bottle with a rubber band that bears the Coca-Cola logo. Once the bottle is empty, it liquefies and the band “doubles as a keepsake bracelet fans can wear,” the release stated.

While one would think a bottle that disintegrates is an eco-friendly attempt from the company, ABC News pointed out that the level of energy it requires to refrigerate the bottles would negate any environmental benefit. Consequently, that could also prevent the company from expanding this particular product to larger markets.

So for now, we’ll have to file this one as “novelty.”

If you don’t speak the language, this video might be difficult to understand, but there’s a nice time-lapse for how the bottle breaks down if you’re still having trouble grasping the concept.

To the contents inside, that remains a mystery in spite of the recent claims from a Georgia man, who believed he solved the puzzle of the brand’s age-old formula.

Coca-Cola, of course, denied the claim, saying that the only real formula for Coke remains heavily guarded in Atlanta in a big safe.

“Through the years, many have tried to crack the secret formula, but no one has been able to reproduce the ‘real thing,’” the company said in an official response. Nevertheless, the man, Cliff Kluge of Ringgold, Georgia, has been looking for a buyer to his find, asking a whopping $15 million.

Officials examining the San Francisco plane crash of Asiana Airlines Flight 214 are currently performing an autopsy to determine if one teenage passenger was run over.

Rescuers found the body of a 16-year-old passenger by the evacuation slide near the left wing of Asiana Flight 214 which crash landed at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday.

The young girl has not yet been identified. According to San Francisco Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White the girls injuries were consistent with being run over.

“As it possibly could have happened, based on the injuries sustained, it could have been one of our vehicles that added to the injuries, or another vehicle,” Hayes-White said. “That could have been something that happened in the chaos. It will be part of our investigation.”

Runway footage of the accident will likely aide officials in determining exactly what happened to the plane and passengers at the time of impact.

According to reports the 16-year-old girl did not appear to be suffering from any type of burns to her body.

The second teenager to die during the San Francisco plane crash appears to have been ejected from the tail of the Boeing 777 as it hit the runway.

Officials are performing autopsies to determine the exact causes of death for all victims of Asiana Flight 214.

Two deceased passengers have been named as Ye Meng Yuan and Wang Lin Jia. Both girls were heading from China to the US where the were set to visit Stanford University and then head off to a three-week long Christian school summer camp.

Passengers aboard the San Francisco plane crash were originating from China, Korea, and the United States.

Executives from Asiana Airlines were quick to release a full apology to the victims and their families.

More information to follow once proper autopsies have been performed and a full investigation has concluded.
