A British man with the BRCA 2 gene had his prostate removed just in case.

Let’s back up. Last week, Angelina Jolie penned a bold op-ed confessing that she had undergone a preventative double mastectomy after she discovered that she carried the BRCA 1 gene, which increased her chances of eventually developing breast cancer to 87 percent.

Now, a British businessman has made medical history by having his healthy prostate removed after he tested positive for the BRCA 2 gene, which (if I can be incredibly reductive) is basically the boy version of the BRCA 1, increasing the risk of developing prostate cancer.

The 53-year-old man was not identified, so we’re going to call him “Mangelina Jolie” for the purposes of this article.

Mangelina Jolie had family members who had suffered from breast or prostate cancer, so he decided to get screened in a trial at the Institute of Cancer Research. He found out that he had the BRCA 2 gene, and decided to have his prostate removed.

Surgeons normally wouldn’t remove a healthy prostate, because it leaves a man infertile and can result in incontinence. Mangelina Jolie insisted, and further tissue tests found that there were indeed malignant changes to his otherwise healthy prostate, albeit on a microscopic level.

So they went ahead with it.

Surgeon Roger Kirby said that the presence of the BRCA 2 gene alone justified removing the prostate in Mangelina Jolie’s case.

“The  relatively low level of cancerous cells we found in this man’s prostate before the operation would these days not normally prompt immediate surgery to remove the gland, but given what we do know about the nature of BRCA2, it was definitely the right thing to do for this patient,” Kirby said.

He also added that Mangelina Jolie is “absolutely fine,” adding: “I am sure more male BRCA carriers will now follow suit.”

The ICR trial showed that men who carry the BRCA 2 gene have an 8.6 times higher risk of developing prostate cancer than those who don’t have it.

A bank robbery in Israel resulted in a gunfight that left five dead, including the suspect.

The lethal bank robbery occurred in a Bank Hapoalim branch Be’er Sheva. The suspect, described as a man in his forties, is said to have killed four patrons before taking a hostage.

As police confirmed five dead in the bank robbery in Be’er Sheva, the gunman’s identity was not yet disclosed. However, Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch briefly discussed the suspected precipitate for the deadly situation.

Aharonovitch confirmed that the suspect is believed to have returned “with a pistol and shot dead four people … bank employees and customers,” and said:

“It appears that we are talking about a lone individual who came to the bank in the morning hours, sought cover for a debt, a loan, and did not get it … He took a hostage, held her for close to an hour or more. The moment the police forces burst in, he killed himself – shot himself and committed suicide.”

As information regarding the alleged gunman was released, the mayor of a neighboring city took exception to early reports claiming two residents of the city may have been responsible for the violent robbery.

Rahat Mayor Faiz Abu-Seheban was quoted by the Jerusalem Post as saying:

“There is a lot of anger in the city because they blamed the city of Rahat and its residents for this despicable act that we condemn unequivocally.”

Abu-Seheban added:

“The Israeli media is always full of stereotypes against the Beduin community, when all we want is to live as good neighbors here on our land.”

Three of the five dead in the bank robbery in Israel have been identified as manager Avner Cohen, deputy Meir Zitun and customer Anat Even-Haim.

There’s a bit of a cast crisis over at SNL. The show is saying goodbye to several of its veteran members and will almost have to start from scratch next year.

Kristin Wiig left the show last year and Bill Hader made his exit last Saturday. The show will also soon see the departure of Seth Meyers, who will be taking over Jimmy Fallon’s seat at Late Night, Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen.

Sudeikis and Armisen haven’t officially left the show but there are several reports circulating that the two veterans will not return next year.

That’s a lot of gaps to fill for when the show resumes next year.

But the SNL cast crisis may not be as dire as it seems. Variety notes that SNL has dealt with major cast turnovers before and they always seem to come out of it unscathed. The massive turnover could actually turn out to be a good thing.

Variety writes: “The prospect of losing at least four prominent cast members before 2013-14 might seem dire, but students of SNL history will note that past mass cast defections tend to be like forest fires: While the damage done is seemingly devastating, it actually has a counter intuitively restorative effect, clearing the way for future growth. And what’s more, the seeds for the next generation of SNL already seem to be sprouting in the current cast.”

SNL will be losing some of its most recognizable faces soon but the cast still has some bright spots. Jay Pharoah has already taken over the Obama character from Fred Armisen and Kate McKinnon and Bobby Moynihan have already found great characters with an Ellen Degeneres impersonation and Weekend Update’s drunk uncle.

Nicki Minaj tried to create some buzz by performing “High School” featuring Lil Wayne at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. I’ve posted the new video below. It’s worth checking out, if only to watch the booty-snapping twerk-filled action that Minaj uses to draw attention to her most powerful assets — and I sure don’t mean her voice.

I like the costume. The dominatrix-style top complete with spikes that would be illegal on a pit bull’s collar rated an A-plus, and why shouldn’t it be paired with torn stockings and derriere-hugging hot pants?

And it’s always fun to watch Minaj perform that simulated lap dance routine on Lil Wayne. However, they’d been doing that number for a couple years now, so it’s up to you to decide if it’s getting a little stale.

I’ve also posted a former viral video from the 2011 I Am Still Music Tour which shows Minaj and Lil Wayne giving much the same performance in different clothes. I guess back then they were going for the 1970s retro look instead of S&M chic.

However, if isn’t my imagination, she may have actually snapped her butt a little more energetically back in the day.

I think it’s time for Nicki Minaj to put down the American Idol feud with Mariah Carey for awhile and figure out some new choreography. However, apparently I’m part of the problem and not part of the solution, because Billboard and the fans loved it.

Banned trainer Mahmood Al Zarooni is facing more trouble after 7 horses tested positive for steroids. British horse racing authorities (BHA) released a statement noting that they found stanozolol during testing with the horses, an anabolic steroid that improves muscle growth in animals and has also been used as treatment for humans with anemia.

The most notable horse in Al Zarooni’s doping scandal is the 2012 St. Leger winner Encke. The other six horses who tested positive are Energizer, Genius Beast, Improvisation, Stamford, Steeler and Zip Top.

This isn’t the first time Al Zarooni’s been caught for using performance enhancing drugs on his horses, as he’s currently appealing an eight-year ban from the BHA for 11 other horses who tested positive for anabolic steroids.

All the race horses are located at Godolphin Racing’s Moulton Paddocks in Newmarket, England where Al Zarooni got his start in 2010. Outside of winning the St. Ledger, he also won the Dubai World Cup, the world’s richest horse race, with the British thoroughbred, Monterosso.

He was banned in April of 2013 and matters are only getting worse after his disciplinary hearing led to another visit and 7 more horses testing positive. Though the doping incidents continue to pile on top of each other, the BHA has stated that no separate actions of any kind would be taken “in respect of these additional positive results whilst Mr Al Zarooni’s appeal process is on-going.”

Blood samples of 391 horses were taken at the Godolphin stables of Al Zarooni and Saeed bin Suroor in Newmarket. All of Bin Suroor’s horses tested negative, and he is expected to take control of the stables once he’s cleared by the BHA.

“Whatever the outcome of his appeal before the independent Appeal Board, the gravity and scale of the infringements warranted Mahmood Al Zarooni being removed from control of the yard as quickly as possible,” the BHA said in a statement.

A VOX guitar played by John Lennon and George Harrison was sold for $408,000 at auction Saturday.

The guitar was sold to an undisclosed buyer at the Music Icons auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan.

Before being placed on exhibit at the Hard Rock last week, the guitar was displayed at Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons in Ireland and the Stafford Kempinski Hotel in London.

Lennon featured the guitar in a video session for “Hello Goodbye,” while Harrison practiced “I Am The Walrus” on it. Both songs were featured on the Beatles’ 1967 album Magical Mystery Tour. The guitar was custom made by Mike Bennett and Dickey Denney, who presented it as a gift to “Magic” Alex Mardas, an engineer at Apple Records who was a close friend of the Beatles.

The guitar was estimated to bring $200,000 to $300,000.

“It’s extraordinary when you have the opportunity to offer such an amazing piece of music history as the VOX guitar played by both George Harrison and John Lennon,” said Martin Nolan, Executive Director of Julien’s Auctions. “From Here Comes the Sun to Hello Goodbye, this guitar is truly one of the most historical pieces of music memorabilia Julien’s Auctions has ever had the pleasure of offering.”

Beatles fans also had the chance to get their hands on first and second state Butcher album (estimated between $4,000 to $6,000 and $10,000 to $20,000, respectively) and a signed copy of the Please Please Me album ($30,000 to $50,000). A copy of Lennon’s In His Own Write, signed by all four members, was estimated between $20,000 to $30,000.

“The bidding remained fast and furious throughout the entire day as Music Icons also featured a collection of over 450 items of famed music memorabilia including more items from the The Beatles, Elvis Presley … Michael Jackson, Bette Midler, The Rolling Stones, David Cassidy, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Madonna, Jimi Hendrix and many more,” Julien’s Auctions said in a news release.

Other items sold included a 1957 Gretsch Guitar owned by Conway Twitty — a.k.a. the guy from all those Family Guy cutaways — which sold for $23,750, a jumpsuit David Cassidy wore on stage that sold for $18,750, and Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” pants, which sold for $12,500.

Bernie Madoff’s $40 a month salary may not seem like much, but the jailed Ponzi schemer can finally say he’s honestly earning a living in jail after the collapse of his massive financial house of cards.

Madoff’s $40 a month check is earned in the prison’s commissary, where the disgraced former finance guru toils for his pay while serving a lengthy stint for his crimes.

Earlier this month, Madoff’s $40 a month pay was revealed in a jailhouse interview with the scammer — and money is the least of his concerns right now, Bernie says.

While he sits in jail, Madoff contemplates the extent of his crumbled financial empire, and he spoke candidly about his life post-prison.

Far from the shady billions Madoff once controlled, his modest earnings didn’t even enable him to call CNN to speak during the interview — he was forced to make a collect call.

Madoff spoke of his new job in jail, and said:

“I used to work as a clerk in the commissary, and now they have me taking care of the telephone and the computer systems.”

Madoff is serving 150 years, but jail is nothing compared with the guilt he lives with each day of his sentence — he says:

“I’m usually up at 4:30 in the morning because I can t sleep … I was responsible for my son Mark’s death and that’s very, very difficult.

Madoff continued:

“I live with that. I live with the remorse, the pain I caused everybody, certainly my family, and the victims … Obviously, the main concern that I have is being away from my family. Married for 50 years, I had a very close family.”

While Madoff’s fate seems terrible, some victims still have not been able to say his suffering is enough.

Mike De Vita is a Madoff victim who co-wrote a book about the scandal titled The Club that No One Wanted to Join.

De Vita says that Madoff is unrepentant, and says of the former financier’s guilt over Mark Madoff’s suicide:

“How could a father bring his own two sons into a business that he knows is nothing more than a massive criminal enterprise? If he has that little consideration for his own family, how much consideration do you think he has for us?”

The Xbox 720 event is happening tomorrow, and Machinima has made a parody video about how it might unfold.

Rumors and speculation have been running rampant over the Xbox 720 for nearly a year now, and after Sony revealed the PlayStation 4, the rumors have never been more fiercely fought over. Seriously, one Twitter post was all it took to make potential Xbox 720 owners pledge allegiance to Sony’s upcoming machine.

Oddly enough, nobody knows yet what the PlayStation 4 even looks like, other than the people at Sony. All we’ve seen is the controller, and tomorrow that may be all we really see of the Xbox 720.

The video begins with words on the screen, “The Macroshaft Presscon Friends Will Begin Shortly,” along with some classical music. Then a couple of guys just start yelling over each other and end up yelling at the same time, “Xbooooooooox!”

One takes over in the already established Billy Mays style, “You all saw the Sony conference, we’re here to blow ‘em away! They had a ridiculous stage, we got a platform like this!” The background shows footage of the PlayStation 4 event and a plethora of monitors, and then just the guy in front of a green screen.  And the jokes and parodies begin.

The two guys keep yelling, “Sony showed no console!” “Zerooooooo!” One of them adds in a normal pitch, “That’s what we’re showing too.” The other one says, “We shoved a VHS player in the back of mine!”

Then a bunch of weird schematics run in the background as one of them says, “Three! Count! Three symmetrical cores running at 3.2 gigahertz, times two.” The text flies by with an obvious misspelling, “3.2 gigahearts.” The other guy adds, “300 magmahertz processor!” “Ten megabytes of embedded RAM.”

One of the guys laughs, “Ten megabytes…” The other one cuts him off, “That’s 500 million triangles per nanosecond! How many triangles is that?”

Reports state that Iran hanged spies, suspected of working for the US CIA and Israel’s Mossad. A news radio station in Iran ran the report on Sunday, stating that  Mohammad Heidari and Kourosh Ahmadi were executed by hanging for their alleged crimes.

Officials in Tehran, Iran, have accused the US and Israel of using spies to gain sensitive information, tied to their nuclear program. Authorities in Israel and the US suspect that the nuclear program’s main objective, is to develop a weapon of mass destruction.

As reported by CBS News, the Iranian government has vehemently denied interest in building an atomic weapon.

Iran hanged the spies following an decision and order by Tehran’s Revolutionary Court, which was upheld by Iran’s Supreme Court. It is unclear whether the men had an opportunity to officially defend themselves against the accusations.

The US and Israel have both been accused of assassinating scientists working for Iran’s nuclear program. Additionally, officials in Iran report that they have “successfully detected and dismantled spy networks,” sent to Iran from the US and Israel.

The US denies any involvement with the deaths of the scientists’ deaths. Officials in Israel have denied commenting on their possible involvement.

As reported by the CS Monitor, The executions come just weeks before Iran’s presidential election. New rules, barring “physically feeble” candidates, could disqualify popular former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani from the race.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently announced his intention to run, drawing widespread support from his followers. However, the Guardian Council has expressed doubt that he will have time for the demanding position.

The Council will release their list of officially approved candidates to The Interior Ministry on Tuesday. The candidate list will be released to the public by the end of the week.

News that Iran hanged accused spies only adds another level to the continuing controversy.

2012 saw a French 100% tax bill affecting thousands of households who literally saw all their income taken by the French government.

The French 100 percent tax bill affected 8,000 households, but many had “only” most of their income taken by the French tax collector:

“In addition to those taxed at over 100 percent last year, almost 12,000 households paid taxes worth more than 75 percent of their 2011 income and that a further 9,910 households were taxed at more than 85 percent of their income.”

The French 100 percent tax bill affects the incomes of households whose assets exceed 1.3 million Euros, or $1.67 million US dollars. This French 100 percent tax bill has apparently been on the rise after a “tax shield” cap, which limited the French tax rate to 50 percent, was removed by the French President Francois Hollande’s Socialist party government:

“In 2011, 5,221 households had a tax rate of more than 100 percent on their revenues. Some 6,203 households had a rate of more than 85 percent and 6,343 house holds a rate of more than 75 percent.”

The French Constitutional Council says a 100 percent tax rate is unfair, with a marginal tax rate higher than 66.66 percent on a single household being considered as confiscatory.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the idea behind the French 100 percent tax bill was bandied about in American politics as well during the Fiscal Cliff crisis. Based upon the $1 trillion plus Federal deficits, taxing the American rich (those making over $1 million) at 100 percent of their income would have raised only $616 billion, which only covered around half of the amount necessary to cover Federal spending.

The 1967 Ford Mustang, named Eleanor in the movie Gone In 60 Seconds, has been sold for $1 million.

The Mustang was one of 11 cars used in the hit Nicolas Cage movie. Only three of those cars could be driven and two of those cars were destroyed during the film. The Eleanor mustang that sold at the Dana Mecum 26th Original Spring Classic Auction was used during the closing stages of the movie as well as promotional shots.

Fox News reports that the Mustang was built by Cinema Vehicle Services and legendary builder Chip Foose. The car has a 351 Ford V-8 crate engine, centered driving lights and a fake nitrous kit.

The true value of the car, of course, comes from the movie Gone In 60 Seconds. In the movie, Cage is tasked with stealing 50 cars, including Eleanor, in one night. The number of cars isn’t really a problem for Cage and his crew. The problem is that he has to steal Eleanor, a car that has eluded Cage during his criminal career.

As the movie says: “Eleanor is Memphis’ unicorn. A fabled creature. Impossible to capture. It’s the one car that no matter how many times you try to boost something happens.”

A video of a wife as she douses her husband with beer at Wrigley Field has gone viral, but the couple have chilled out about the incident since the enraged woman dumped a brewski on her man during a recent MLB game.

The video in which the wife douses her husband with ballpark beer was a favorite takeaway of a recent Cubs game against the New York Mets — and it seems that the hubby was in a lose-lose situation.

The “wife douses husband” moment was caught on camera … and broadcast to viewers at home. The couple admits that they immediately began getting texts about the marital spat caught on cam after Travis Wood’s wayward home run went careening their way during the fifth inning.

The man explains he was “trying to protect” his “lovely wife,” and in the process, accidentally spilled a beer on her as he shielded her from the errant hit.

Was she grateful? So grateful she took the other beer and threw it in his face in anger — she later sheepishly admitted her reaction was one of frustration when MLB.com caught up with the pair after the game.

The wife who doused her man with a beer explains that she wasn’t thinking about a ball to the face after he accidentally poured a beer on her — she explains:

“I just got livid … And took my beer and splooshed it in his face. I figured if I’m wet, he might as well be wet too.”

As many have pointed out, the beer spat was not a cheap date — with prices per beer at about $7, it was a $15 total fallout after Wood’s hit went rogue.

But even as the “wife douses husband” clip circulates the web, the animosity was long gone. Before the pair got in the car, they were already laughing about their inadvertent viral fame.

Hayden Panettiere is facing rumors that she and her boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko are tying the knot, but the actress insists she’s not engaged yet.

The Nashville star addressed the marriage rumors this weekend at an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards. Hayden attended with Klitschko, but walked the red carpet alone.

When a reporter asked Panettiere about the engagement rumors, she have a quick but not entirely decisive answer.

“No ring,” she said, holding up her hand.

The non-answer may have been by design. By answering in neither the affirmative or negative, Panettiere addressed the rumor without committing one way or another.

Reports that Panettiere and Klitschko were engaged came out a few months ago.

“Very few people know, and she isn’t wearing her ring publicly yet,” the source told Us Weekly back in March.

Panettiere had said that she and the 37-year-old boxer were “just buddies, but they were then seen kissing at a recent Miami Heat game.  The diminutive actress and towering boxer had already broke up once before, in May 2011. They only stayed apart for a short time, and within four months were back together.

Hayden said that she preferred dating athletes since they aren’t too far removed from her acting world.

“I like [dating athletes]. It’s been a really cool thing, because they’re in similar circles, where they understand the schedule, the work ethic, the social aspect, but they’re not exactly in your industry, so it works out well, Panettiere explained.

Panettiere did clear something else up during her Billboard. She said the rumors of a Nashville live tour aren’t true … or particularly realistic.

“I’m kind of confused as to when they think that’s going to happen,” she said. “We shoot from the end of July to the end of April.”

Panettiere has faced other rumors recently. There were reports that she had gotten breast implants after a Glamour bikini photo shoot showed what appeared to be ripples in her bikini, supposedly a telltale sign of augmentation. She did not comment on the rumors.

For more than 100 years the fine people at the Anna Louise Inn in downtown Cincinnati have been offering battered women a safe haven from their abusive boyfriends and husbands. Recently however they were told by a judge that they have to leave their home.

Why is Anna Louise Inn being closed? Not because money is owed on its property, but rather because the greedy executives at Western & Southern Insurance Group want to tear the home down and put in a boutique hotel.

More than 60 women will be eventually uprooted at the hands of Western & Southern Insurance Group.

Setup as a dormitory-style living facility the home provides women in need with 100 square foot bedrooms and shared bathrooms.

The executives at the insurance company offered to buy Anna Louise In several years ago for a price of $1.8 million. The home is worth double that sales price and Anna Louise ultimately declined the offer but won $12.6 million in federal and state tax credits to renovate the home.

Just as the home was about to begin its renovations Western & Southern sued over a zoning issue and a judge ordered an immediate construction halt. The workers at Anna Louise Inn vowed to fight the insurance company tooth and nail but ultimately agreed last week to sell the property for $4 million.

It wasn’t that Anna Louise Inn decided to move, they simply didn’t have the funds to fight the sleazy insurance company.

Based on location and prices the women will be relocated to a seedy area about 2 miles away from their current location. Under the deal the new home will be constructed over the new two years. In the meantime the women will get to stay put.

If the battle ended there the women could easily cut their losses and walk away. However, Western & Southern Insurance Group CEO John Barrett simply couldn’t keep his mouth shut. In addressing the home which is comprised mostly of women who were beaten by their husbands and boyfriends he continually called the women “recovering prostitutes.”

Barrett then claimed that beaten women don’t belong in the neighborhood.

In the end many more women will be served for years to come by the wonderful people at the Anna Louise Inn, unfortunately thanks to Western & Southern Insurance Group those being helped will be required to access a less than desired location.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s appearance at Sunday’s 2013 Billboard Music Awards had been billed — by many — as some sort of coming out party.

Omg! Insider, Us Weekly and People and even Billboard were absolutely sure the pair would be sitting together.

A reported PDA filled Saturday night visit by the “Take You” singer and his on-again off-again ex-girlfriend to Las Vegas’ Mirage resort to see Cirque du Soleil’s Love, seemed to be a sign that a public display of rainbow-colored coupledom was a mere 24 hours away.

But it was not to be.

The pair sat near other, in fact they were separated by an aisle, but not next to each other. Bieber sat on one side of the front row with manager Scooter Braun and others. Gomez sat with Taylor Swift and Brit singer Ed Sheeran in the other half of the front row.

A little backstory.

During Billboard’s event, Bieber won three awards: Top Male Artist, Top Social Artist and a new Milestone Award. But, as he accepted the new award sizeable sections of the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena audience booed.

After a lengthy pause, Bieber told the crowd:

“I”m 19 years old. I think I’m doing a pretty good job.” He added “And basically from my heart I really just want to say it should really be about the music. It should be about the craft, the craft that I’m making. This is not a gimmick … I’m an artist and I should be taken seriously. And all this other bull should not be spoken of.”

While the teen star didn’t specifically refer to his highly eventful Believe world tour — which included speeding fines in Dubai, a tour bus drug bust in Sweden, late show starts and the seizure of his former pet monkey — his meaning was clear.

Some time after that, footage of the Canadian’s brief backstage encounter with Gomez, captured on Billboard’s online video feed, revealed a nuanced dynamic between the pair that could be read either way.

In the clip, Bieber is seen talking to a group of people and a male friend, just as Selena and Swift walk by with an unidentified red-headed friend.

The Spring Breakers actress stopped and smiled affectionately at Justin before kissing him on the cheek. However, she did appear to stop short of responding when he moved in for a lip-kiss.

Mail Online described it the moment as:

“More like friends catching up rather than a couple conversing after getting back together.”

Meanwhile, another dynamic seen in the clip was quite a bit clearer.

Unbeknownst to Bieber, a weird ‘meangirls’ happening between Swift and the red-head who was holding Gomez’s hand while the actress spoke to her ex, was taking place.

The red-head rolls her eyes more than once and repeatedly tries to pull the ex-Disney star away from the “Boyfriend” singer. Swift goes even further.

After seeing Gomez and Bieber kiss and embrace, Swift moved away. But while her back was turned, she stuck her tongue out as if the mere sight of the pair’s affection made her gag.

It’s a revealing moment and lends credence to previous reports that Gomez’s friends do not approve of Bieber as a possible or actual partner for the “Come and Get It” singer.

Selena later posted the picture to her Instagram account, with a caption that read: “Vegas hug + kiss.”

Meanwhile at the awards show itself, Swift picked up eight awards including the top honor Artist of the Year, and the Top Billboard 200 Album award for Red. She thanked her fans by telling them: “You are the longest and best relationship I’ve ever had.”

Brit-Irish band, One Direction, won three gongs including Top Pop Album with “Take Me Home” and Top New Artist.

Madonna, demurely dressed in black fishnets and garter, won the Top Touring Artist award for her MDNA Tour, which grossed the highest sales for 2012.

“A showgirl needs her fans,” said the mother of four.” Thank you for supporting me for three decades.”

Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” saw the Canadian claim the Top digital song award. The song had amassed 7 million downloads.

Noted musical performances included Bieber’s solo rendition of “Take You” and a team up with will.i.am for “#ThatPOWER.” Miguel’s showstopping “Adorn” spot was soured by his accidental landing on two audience members in the mosh pit when he leaped from one part of the stage to another.

Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj turned in an explicit performance for “High School.”

Billboard Icon Award winner Prince and his backing band 3rdEyeGirl closed out an unexpectedly dramatic show with a stunning medley delivered in full 70′s styling.

As for whether Bieber and Gomez are properly ‘back on,’ who knows? But we do know how Taylor Swift would feel about it.

The divorce battle between Porsha Williams and Kordell Stewart is getting uglier.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star  filed new documents in a Georgia family court claiming that her estranged husband has locked her out of their home on a number of occasions, and that she had to have her lawyer ask Stewart’s people for a key. Sources close to the situation said that the former NFL star has yet to give her one.

Porsha Williams is also claiming that she tried to work things out with her soon to be ex-husband, but he blew off a mediation session and called it a “waste of everyone’s time.” The 40-year-old is asking a judge to force Kordell Stewart to either allow her to use the home or to give her enough money to get her own “suitable alternative residence.” Williams is reportedly living with her mother in Atlanta.

Stewart filed for divorce on March 22, but Williams didn’t find out about it until two days later, when she read a story about it online. Stewart claimed that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and claimed that Williams was “neglecting her responsibilities to her stepson.” Stewart also denied Williams alimony, claiming that she is “an able-bodied person, earning income, and is capable of supporting herself.” He also said there were no assets to be divided because a prenup had been signed.

The two would have celebrated their second anniversary on Tuesday, May 21.

While the exact reason behind the divorce is still unknown, several of Williams’ RHOA co-stars felt that Stewart was too controlling.

“They called him controlling and that was hard for me to deal with,” Williams said. “I will not blame this divorce on anyone but the person who filed, and that is my ex.” Williams also said she was heartbroken and occasionally ashamed by the turn of events.

“Because I put myself out there to the world as a wife and I was proud to be married and for it to end the way it did, it’s almost like a failure in a way,” she said.

J.J. Watt surprised one of his biggest fans this past Thursday, as 12-year-old cancer patient Cristian Beasley was watching his sixth-grade class from home. Beasley is currently fighting leukemia and the youngster uses a robot he named “Watt” to virtually attend class everyday.

KHUO-TV wrote a story about Beasley last week, and the Houston Texans’ star defensive end must have been watching.  While Beasley was participating in class through his robot, Watt snuck up from behind Cristian to give him the biggest surprise of his life.

Beasley named the robot “Watt” because the 2012 Pro Bowler is his favorite player. The young boy is one of 34 patients across the United States to use the VGo telepresence system, according to the TV station.

“When I heard the story that he named the robot after me and he was such a big fan of me, it was a no-brainer,” Watt told KHUO-TV. “To see the smile on his face when he realized I was in the room with him … there’s no better feeling.”

Once J.J. Watt’s surprise set in for young Cristian, they spent over two hours together playing in the backyard, which including a lot of football, some hacky sack, and a quick dancing session.

This isn’t the first time Watt’s gone above and beyond to produce a heartfelt moment, as he asked 6-year-old Breanna to be his pretend wife for the day in January after she told her mom she wanted to marry the NFL player.

On Thursday, Watt drove all the way to Spendora, Texas to visit Cristian Beasley, much to the delight of the youngster who nearly lost it during the surprise. The rest of Beasley’s classmates were watching, and J.J. Watt said his hello’s to the class before stealing his new buddy for the day.

Is there anyone in the NFL who appreciates their fans as much as J.J. Watt? Surprises or not, the 24-year-old has a connection with his fans unlike any other.

Calvin Johnson had broken fingers for most of the 2012 season, but said they didn’t slow him down too much.

That might be a bit of an understatement. Johnson turned in one of, if not the best receiving seasons of all time, setting an NFL record with 1,964 yards.

Numbers aside, Johnson was dominant on an otherwise dismal Detroit Lions team, virtually unstoppable at times.

And Calvin Johnson did it all with broken fingers.

“Yeah, I had a couple of things here and there,” Johnson said. “Pretty much trying to get them back straight, trying to straighten them things out.

“I had a couple of injuries but nothing that prohibited me from doing what I needed to do. The thing with a lot of football players, you have injuries, but unless you know about it you just think it’s something that hurts and you keep on playing.”

The busted fingers caused Johnson to miss a bit of practice time, but he says he’s all healed up now and ready for the 2013 season. Johnson said his goal is to top 2,000 yards in the coming year.

“I am feeling good,” he said. “This is the time to get the body strong and ready to go through what we are about to go through.”

But first and foremost, Johnson wants to win.

“I have talked to (retired Pittsburgh Steelers receiver) Hines Ward the last couple of offseasons because we share the same trainer,” Johnson said. “He told me, ‘You can have all the accolades in the world, but it don’t really mean nothing if you aren’t winning.’ I can get three touchdowns and 200 yards, but if you lose the game what’s it all for?”

The Lions begin OTAs on Tuesday, and Johnson said he’s ready to get to work after a disappointing 4-12 season.

“We know what we were last year,” Johnson said. “Very disappointing that we weren’t able to get back to where we were (in 2011), especially since we were so close in so many of those games. Everybody’s focus should be way more intense this year.

“But you can’t tell until you get on the field.”

At least this year Calvin Johnson won’t have broken fingers to worry about.

You know what makes bank these days? Old people behaving badly. At least that’s what Summit Entertainment thinks. The studio which is currently heading up the Red series, has set some preliminary plans to get Red 3 in motion even before the sequel hits theaters.

The 2010 action comedy, which stars Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, and Morgan Freeman out performed anyone’s expectations when Red hit theaters. Red writing partners Jon and Erich Hoeber are already securing another script for the third installment, which will probably be titled Red 3, for lack of a better name.

The original film was spawned from a comic book miniseries by Warren Ellis and Cully Hammer, though it is said the series in itself is far more violent than the actual film. The sequel which is set to hit theaters July 19, seems to be the same horse and pony show. Time has passed and retired CIA agent Frank Moses reunites with his team of operatives to track down a missing portable nuclear device. Obviously this is only a job that Bruce Willis can get done.

The Hoeber brothers have returned to direct Red 2 with an impressive supporting cast including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Anthony Hopkins, Brian Cox, and Neal McDonough. Now that the sequel is weeks away from hitting theaters, Liongate and Summit are being proactive about getting a Red 3 off the ground, seeing as old guys doing funny stuff is doing well these days. Mix that in with the action genre, and you have a recipe for a box office hit.

 According to sources, the studio is incredibly happy with early focus group reactions about Red 2 and because of this Lionsgate pushed the release date early to get the ball rolling from its original August date.  Although it will probably have some huge summer competition on July 19, we wouldn’t be surprised if immediate talks of Red 3 start to pick up after its first week of release.
