Los Angeles, CA — Rapper Too Short tried to run from the police early Monday morning after a DUI stop but didn’t get very far.

As The Inquisitr previously reported, Too Short, whose birth name is Todd Anthony Shaw, was traveling down Hollywood Boulevard when he was stopped by police around 3 am — an hour when the numerous clubs in the neighborhood are closing — as part of a random drunken driving check.

After first calmly chatting with the officers, the 46-year-old rapper took off running evidently when they tried to administer a breathalyzer test. Cops, however, quickly chased Too Short down (see video below) and placed him under arrest. He only got about a half a block before officers subdued him. In addition to DUI, Too Short reportedly has been charged with drug possession in the incident because arresting officers claim the rapper tried to dump drugs in the back of a squad car.

Bond was set at $10,000 and he may still be in custody. Too Short has had other run-ins with the law. In 2009, he had two arrests on suspicion of DUI, and in 2010, he was arrested on misdemeanor battery charges after performing at an Idaho nightclub.

Last month, Short — who is considered a hip hop pioneer on the west coast — was believed to be connected to the triple homicide on the Las Vegas strip that claimed the life of Kansas City rapper Kenny Clutch. Too Short has categorically denied any involvement in that incident.

According to Too Short’s manager who responded to news of the Hollywood arrest on Wednesday morning, “He’s okay. It was a rough night. Too Short is a good guy who’s had a 30-year career and sold 40 million records. It’s just unfortunate this happened. We’ll get to the bottom of it.”

So Beyoncé has a new single out called “Bow Down, I Been On,” which Rush Limbaugh argues is a complete “180″ from the “Single Ladies” singer. Instead of an “Independent Woman,” says Rush, Beyoncé is now advocating that women “bow down” to the men in their lives.

On his show this week, the controversial radio host criticized Beyoncé for the single, as well as what he calls the “Bow Down B*tches Tour,” which is actually called “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” on Beyoncé’s website.

“[Destiny's Child] songs were attempts to inspire young women not to take any grief from men.  … She’s done a 180,” Limbaugh charged. “Beyoncé, now having been married, having been impregnated and given birth to Blue Ivy … Beyoncé is now saying, ‘Go ahead and put up with it!’”

Limbaugh also pointed to Beyoncé’s lyrics, as well as a story from The Telegraph, to back up his point.

“You know why? I’ll tell you why. She married a rich guy. She’s even calling herself Mrs. Carter on the tour … She has shelved Beyoncé … She now understands it’s worth it to bow down [to men]. And now she’s passing on that advice,” said Rush. “You find the right guy, you put up with it — bow down.”

Unfortunately for Limbaugh’s argument, he may have mis-respresented both Beyoncé’s lyrics as well as the Telegraph story he got his information from.

For Mediaite, Matt Wilstein argues that the lyrics to “Bow Down, I Been On” are more accurately interpreted as a message from Beyoncé to her fans. She sings:

“I know when you were little girls
You dreamt of being in my world
Don’t forget it , don’t forget it
Respect that, bow down b*tches

I took some time to live my life
But don’t think I’m just his little wife
Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted
This my sh**, bow down b*tches”

Telegraph writer Felicity Capon is actually upset over these lyrics, because they turn Bey’s “beloved single ladies, independent women and survivors, into her b*tches.”

What in the world is going on with Jane Got A Gun? For the last week we’ve been steadily reporting the drama that has transpired from the film. Since director Lynne Ramsay decided to quit on the day the film started with production, Jane Got a Gun has gained a new director (Warrior’s Gavid O’Conner), and subsequently lost their star villain as Jude Law exited the flick.

Since Law has exited the film, and with the project desperately wanting to get this show on the road, those involved have been scouring to find an actor to step in at the last minute. Reports are coming in that Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, and Jeff Bridges are all being considered for the villainous role. It seems as though casting is throwing their hands up and taking whoever wants the role, if the huge age gap between Bridges and both Magure and Gyllenhaal is any evidence.

The role that is now looking to cast is for John Bishop, “the man who shoots Bill Hammond, who’s a former member of the Bishop Boys, leaving wife Jane Hammond (Natalie Portman) to team up with her first love (Joel Edgerton) to seek revenge.”

Personally, after cementing just how well he plays someone on the opposing side of the fence in Brothers, Tobey Maguire seems to be the perfect choice to go with. He’s young enough to appeal to a film going audience, and he’s downright talented and hasn’t been seen in some time in mainstream cinema.

In addition Portman has worked with both Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal, and has fantastic chemistry with the both of them. This production can stand to use at least some good luck after such a dramatic start.

It’s said that Law left the production because he waned to work with Ramsay. We still haven’t heard why Lynne Ramsay left the production, but some sources are pointing that there was indeed something going on behind the scenes, and producer Scott Steindorff might be downplaying everything in favor of good press.

Gemma Arterton stunned in Byzantium photos that hit the web on Thursday.

Sites like Horror-Movies.ca and ComicBookMovie.com swooned over the stills that feature Arterton in some provocative poses, not to mention one that shows clearly which side of the human-bloodsucker equation she will reside when Byzantium hits select theaters on June 28.

The plot will focus on a mother and daughter duo, who form a deadly pact, according to IMDb.

Horror-Movies.ca has a few more details, noting that Arterton will play Clara, the mother role, though neither character will appear that distanced in age.

(After all, these are vampires.)

Fleeing the scene of a grisly crime, the two vampires find their own adventures within a quiet, sleepy town.

Clara sells her body at a house called “Byzantium,” which she turns into a “pop-up” brothel, and Eleanor (Saoirse Ronan) finds someone with whom she can share her secret.

Catching the fallout are the townspeople, who one-by-one start to die as the women’s past starts to catch up to them.

IFC Films picked up the rights in September 2012 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Bolstered by a cast that in addition to Ronan and Gemma Arterton included Jonny Lee Miller and Sam Riley, Byzantium was a lock.

Throw in director Neil Jordan, whose Interview with the Vampire earned two Oscar nominations and put Kirsten Dunst on the map, and you can understand what IFC saw in this project.

As for Arterton, she has had a successful 2013 thus far, starring in the international box office hit Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters alongside Jeremy Renner.

Despite a less-than-stellar domestic showing, the action-horror hybrid, shot on a budget of $51 million, crossed $200 million this month thanks to a stellar overseas take and was cleared for a sequel.

The Spring Outlook for the next three months was issued today by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In this age of global warming, it’s probably no surprise that they have predicted a warmer-than-average spring, with higher than normal temperatures coming to most of the continental US and northern Alaska. Hawaii, oddly enough, may enjoy cooler temperatures than normal.

Two serious concerns are drought and flood. The drought of 2012 hasn’t really broken in some regions of the country, and NOAA noted that 51 percent of the country is currently considered to be in a state of drought. They believe that the drought will continue in most of those areas and that more areas of drought will develop, including in California, Texas, Florida, the southern Rockies, and the Southwest.

They especially cautioned North Dakota, predicting that the state has a number of rivers that could flood this year.

Wednesday was the official first day of spring, but it couldn’t come too early for some people. A different sort of spring outlook really dropped the ball earlier this year. On Groundhog Day on Feb. 2, the famous weather predicting groundhog Punxsutawney Phil emerged from his burrow, saw no shadow, and thus declared an early spring. By his forecast, we should have been just finishing up those six weeks of early spring right about now.

Instead, many parts of the nation suffered through an unusually cold, miserable February and early March. As Jeff Masters for Weather Underground wrote yesterday, “It’s the first day of spring, but winter remains firmly entrenched over the eastern half of the U.S., where temperatures of 5 – 25°F below average have been the rule all week.” He blamed an unusual movement in the jet stream, which brought the cold air streaming into this country while allowing Greenland to enjoy some unusual warmth.

Masters laughed off the poor predictive powers of what is, after all, a rodent who lives in a hole in the ground. But some people are pretty fired up about it.

Butler County, Ohio’s prosecuting attorney Michael Gmoser allegedly filed a complaint against Punxsutawney Phil asking for the death penalty because, “contrary to the Groundhog Day report, a snowstorm and record low temperatures have been and are predicted to continue in the near future, which constitutes the offense of MISREPRESENTATION OF EARLY SPRING.”

I wouldn’t hold my breath expecting Phil to show up for his court date, but I think we’re all ready for a more positive spring outlook.

March Madness is in full affect after No. 3 seeded Marquette rallied to beat the No. 14 seeded Davidson Wildcats 59-58 in the last seconds at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. Vander Blue saved the Golden Eagles season with a smooth lay-up with one second left in the game.

Davidson had a seven-point lead with 1:33 to go, but Marquette rallied to a dramatic comeback in the first round match-up. Jamil Wilson hit two three-pointers during  Davidson’s collapse in the final minutes, including one with 10 seconds left in the game to bring the Golden Eagles within one.

On the Wildcat’s next possession, De’Mon Brooks threw the ball up the left-side of the court to avoid a foul but missed Nik Cochran by a step. The ball was ruled out of bounds when Cochran made a grab for it with his foot on the line. Vander Blue’s quick drive through the lane for the go-ahead layup came on the next possession to complete the comeback for Marquette.

Jake Cohen led all scorers with 20 points in the loss for Davidson, while Brooks added 11 points and eight rebounds. Chris Otule finished with a double-double for Marquette, with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Blue’s play in the final minutes saved the Golden Eagles from a disastrous upset, though he struggled with his shot early in the contest. His teammates weren’t any better, as Marquette shot just 34 percent from the field and were 1-for-12 from behind the arc before hitting three-straight in the final minutes.

With the huge win over Davidson, Marquette advances to the second round of the East to face Butler, who held off Bucknell 68-56 in the first round.  The two teams faced off at the Maui Invitational in Hawaii to open the season, and Butler got the best of Marquette in a 72-71 thriller.

The Bulldogs have fared well in the NCAA tournament in years past, as they fought their way to back-to-back title appearances in 2010 and 2011, losing both. Butler certainly has the capability of beating Marquette again, so expect another close one on Saturday. Marquette ruins Davidson’s upset bid to keep their season alive, but will the Golden Eagles struggles offensively carry over to their match-up with Butler Saturday?

Colt Manufacturing is considering leaving the state of Connecticut after being thrust into the limelight in the national debate over gun control and the Second Amendment.

Dennis Veilleux, president and CEO of Colt, said that the pro-gun control climate that has emerged from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting has made it difficult to do business in the state of Connecticut, and that the company doesn’t feel welcome despite doing business there for 175 years.

Particularly, proposed legislation by Governor Dannel Malloy has made Colt feel estranged from Connecticut. Such legislation includes a new gun offender registry, an expanded assault weapons ban, ammunition restrictions, and a ban on the purchase of handguns in bulk.

“At some point, if you can’t sell your products … then you can’t run your business,” Veilleux told Fox News. “You need customers to buy your products to stay in business.”

Colt employs roughly 700 workers in Connecticut, and Veilleux wrote in a recent op-ed that he has only considered pulling operations in the state. There are no “definite plans” to do so, he wrote, but if Malloy’s legislation targeting AR-15 rifles goes through, leaving will be a more realistic option, The AR-15 is the centerpiece of Colt’s business.

If Colt does leave, it’s not without options. Several red state governors have approached Veilleux to relocate, envious of the estimated $1.7 billion in annual contribution to Connecticut’s economy.

But Veilleux is hesitant to abandon his Connecticut workers.

“The employees are what the company is,” he said. “It’s not a building with a bunch of machines in it. The company is the employees. They’re proud of what they do, they represent their community – and I would say a lot more than some of the legislators do. They’re real people.”

Malloy’s reps confirmed that they don’t want any manufacturers to leave the state, emphasizing the “need to move ahead with common sense gun violence prevention legislation that will improve public safety.”

But anti-gun groups seem to want increased gun control at any cost. Ron Pinciaro, the executive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence, defended Malloy’s legislative proposals.

“We feel that because of the enormity of the situation that happened on Dec. 14, that if we just put some Band-Aids on things, it’s really not going to be enough,” he said.

A crash killed 6 people and injured 9 others in Texas after police chased a truck said to be crammed with undocumented immigrants.

Police said there were 15 people in the truck that slammed into a security barrier at a Navy facility in Texas. Ten people were in the truck’s cab while another five were under a tarp in the truck’s bed, said John Gagne, spokesman for Naval Air Station Kingsville.

The chase started late on Wednesday when the pickup sped past an officer at the base’s man gate, prompting a chase from police. Guards at the base put a pop-up barrier outside a second security post, and the GMC truck slammed into it at full speed, causing the crash the killed 6.

Police said that wasn’t the intention.

“That’s exactly what the barrier is designed to prevent,” Gagne said, referring to the driver’s behavior. “It’s quite possible this guy didn’t even know where he was.”

At close to 12:33 am, the Department of Public Safety was called to the scene of the crash. Officials said no one other than those in the truck were injured.

The 6 people killed all died instantly, authorities said, and the injured were taken to local hospitals by ambulance and air. The US Border Patrol classified the passengers as undocumented immigrants.

The front gate at the base was closed to all outgoing traffic after the crash. Another gate at Caesar Street was open to both incoming and outgoing traffic until further notice, authorities said.

It was the second high-speed chase in Texas within a matter of hours. Police said a crash that took place midday Thursday in Montague County may have been related to the killing of a Colorado prison chief 700 miles away earlier in the week.

Police said the driver of a Cadillac fired at police during and after the chase. He was shot by police and was said to be “legally deceased,” though he was being kept on a ventilator until his organs could be donated.

The names of the 6 people killed in the crash were not released.

It’s been a bit since we’ve heard from Kate Winslet, at least in the mainstream sense. Now reports are coming in that Winslet is set to co-star alongside The Descendants’ Shailene Woodley in Divergent.

Divergent is Neil Burger’s adaptation of Veronica Roth’s young story of the same name. It’s been confirmed that Winslet will play Jeanine Matthews, who is known as the leader of the Erudite group.

The news about Winslet joining Divergent came from Summit’s official announcement. Along with Kate Winslet the Divergent cast is rounded out by Woodley, Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz, Ansel Elgort and Maggie Q. Out of the group Winslet’s character Jeanine is said to be the most intelligent of the group.

In their press release Summit writes about the new Kate Winslet film:

“Divergent is a thrilling adventure set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities, Tris Prior (Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late.”

The novel “Divergent” by Veronica Roth has received much acclaim and huge success, with topping the New York Times Best Sellers list since May of 2011. Aside from Divergent, Winslet unfortunately made an appearance in what is helmed as the worst movie in a long time, in Movie 43. In addition the actress has Labor Day coming out in 2013 playing depressed single mother Adele, as well as having two films in pre-production.

In a joint statement, Lionsgate’s co-chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger said of the group of actors to round out the cast: ”As we continue to develop the film, the studio remains committed to providing fans with a movie adaptation that stays as true to the book as possible and we are confident that we have done so with our selection of Shailene and Theo in the leading roles.”

Sorry, folks. Rumors of the imminent release of a Joe Jonas sex tape were just that.

We reported earlier that rumors of a Joe Jonas sex tape were making rounds on the Internet, and seemed to originate from a blind gossip site (which, as we noted, is usually where such rumors are made up … err … born).

The sex tape was supposed to feature Joe Jonas and his girlfriend, Blanda Eggenschwiler, during a South American tryst. The unique thing about the Jonas sex tape rumor is that it was very descriptive of the clip, alleging that Jonas and Eggenschwiler are featured engaging in explicit sexual activity which included BDSM gear and drug use.

The website Jezebel quoted the report:

“The video features explicit footage of Joe Jonas, 23, and his girlfriend, Blanda Eggenschwiler, 28, drinking, doing drugs, and engaging in sex using a number of sex toys and BDSM devices, including dildos, a gag ball, and a slapper paddle … The sex tape was made earlier this month in a room at Park Tower, a hotel in Buenos Aries, Argentina. Blanda, who describes herself as model from Switzerland, is traveling with the Jonas Brothers while they are on tour in South America.”

Sounds like just the thing to sate the thirst of fans at the crossroads of Jonas Brothers fan fiction and Fifty Shades of Grey, no? Too bad it’s all complete bunk.

A rep for Joe Jonas caught wind of the sex tape rumor and debunked it this afternoon.

“There is no truth or validity to this story,” Jonas’ rep told E! News. “It is completely false.”

Harrison Ford was spotted arriving in Los Angeles in a private jet on Thursday. However, the actor didn’t stick around for very long.

Shortly after arriving at the airport, the Indiana Jones star quickly made his way to a Cessna. Almost as soon as he arrived, Ford was heading off into the wild blue yonder. Images from his arrival in L.A. have been included in the gallery below.

Harrison Ford has been the center of quite a few news stories as of late. In addition to his turn in the upcoming comedy Anchorman 2, the veteran actor is among those likely to return for Star Wars: Episode VII.

Although he recently stated that he was excited about returning to the role of Han Solo in J.J. Abrams’ highly-anticipated feature, Ford stressed that nothing about his involvement is currently set in stone.

Also slated to return in the next installment of the Star Wars saga are Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. While their involvement has been discussed at-length on a number of different websites, it’s currently unclear how big of a role they will play in the film.

Prior to his participation in Star Wars: Episode VII, rumors were swirling that Han Solo would be the center of a standalone Star Wars project being developed by LucasFilm. However, the production will likely follow Solo during his younger days.

Harrison Ford has also been tapped to portray Branch Rickey in writer-director Brian Helgeland’s baseball drama 42. The film tells the story of Jackie Robinson during his historic signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers.

The actor also just wrapped production on Gavin Hood’s Ender’s Game. The film is a big-budget adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s science fiction novel of the same name.

Harrison Ford Arrives At Airport In Private Jet, Leaves In Cessna [Photos] is a post from: The Inquisitr

Can’t wait until May for Iron Man 3 to open in theaters? We’ve got your back. Disney and Marvel Studios have published Q&A transcripts for Kevin Feige (Marvel’s movie big-wig), Robert Downey Jr., and Gwyneth Paltrow. They talk plot points, new cast members, and reveal that a familiar character will be “suiting up” for the very first time.

SPOILER ALERT! Needless to say, if you want an Iron Man 3 experience that is pure as the driven snow, stop reading here.

Robert Downey Jr. will probably play Iron Man as long as Marvel will have him (and really, can you imagine anyone else?), but his contract expires after Iron Man 3. Sure, he’ll be back in Avengers 2 for sure, but just in case this is his last solo film, Marvel Studios has made sure to pull out all the stops and jump all of the sharks for Shane Black’s three-quel.

So what are we to expect from Iron Man 3?

First of all, those scenes from the trailer where Stark’s beachfront mansion is destroyed and he’s seen dragging a broken suit of armor through a snowy forest? That’s just Act One.

“So by the end of the first act of Iron Man 3, his house is gone,” said Feige. “His technology is gone. All he has is a barely functioning, prototype suit that, soon after he escapes from the house that’s destroyed, is not functioning at all.”

But why?

“It is a lot of fun to see Tony out of his element, without any of his toys, with just his mind, to see how he can overcome and there are villains that come and attack him in this sequence, with no suit at all to grab,” said Feige, adding that Tony will have to “get out of that cave with a box of scraps” all over again (a reference to Iron Man).

What is the state of the Tony Stark/Pepper Potts relationship in Iron Man 3? ““So they are living together and they are in a committed relationship, which again is somewhat unique to the superhero genre. That is one of the reasons we really wanted to do it,” said Feige, who added that the relationship is not without conflict. Tony Stark has poured his stress from PTSD into his work, building suit after suit. “It’s an obsession and, as Pepper calls it, his distraction. It’s clearly affecting their relationship.”

Oh, and in case you haven’t figured it out from toys, hints, or trailer clips, Pepper suits up for the first time in her very own set of armor.

“There were talks of Pepper getting in the suit at the end of Iron Man 2, but Marvel wasn’t ready to do it yet,” Feige said.

“I think in the comic books she does eventually get into the suit and she has her own suit, and I know Robert was really interested in having Pepper do more in this movie,” he continued.

“I didn’t mind wearing the suit at all,” said Paltrow. “I thought it was light and perfectly comfortable and my children thought I was extremely cool. They were here on a day where I was in it, so they were trying it on and when my son saw me in the suit, he had the biggest eyes, so it was definitely worth it.”

“I can honestly say that they should expect to be continually surprised,” said Downey Jr. “This is intentionally a mislead into a redirect into a turnaround into a bait-and-switch into a red herring. But I think that in some ways that this is the most emotionally satisfying and the most technically and action-wise and superhero-wise entertaining of the three. It’s fun.”

Dead Island: Riptide has brought yet another game play trailer to the web in order to try and entice people to buy the game when it hits store shelves. This new trailer delves quite a bit deeper into the actual story that gamers will encounter.

The trailer is titled “They Thought Wrong” and shows that the survivors of  the first Dead Island game thought they had escaped the zombies. It turns out that they had only gotten themselves into a whole new brand of trouble while making their retreat on a nuclear submarine.

In this sequel, the group’s ship is hit by a tropical storm and basically destroyed. The survivors are washed ashore on the beautiful island of Palanai. While the town of Henderson first looks like a haven, it is soon discovered that the group has been pushed back into the clutches of a zombie horde.

Joined by a fifth character in former Navy cook and hand-to-hand combat expert John Morgan, the group must now find yet another way to escape the tropical terrors. Dead Island: Riptide doesn’t appear to be bringing a whole lot new, other than a slightly different setting and one new playable character.

There is apparently also a brand new zombie, called a “Drowner”. This particular baddie will actually hang out just below the the surface of a body of water and drag their unsuspecting victims down into the depths with them.

The game is slated to release on April 23 in the United States and three days later in the UK. While it will be available for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360, as well as the PC the game won’t be coming to the Wii U.

The game’s developers talked earlier this month about the need to change the game’s engine too much in order to come up with a Wii U version.

The American Academy of Pediatrics called for the legalization of same-sex marriage in a policy statement Thursday, claiming that doing so is in the best interest of children and their families.

“Children thrive in families that are stable and that provide permanent security, and the way we do that is through marriage,” Benjamin Siegel, chair of the AAP Committee on Psychosocial Aspects of Child and Family Health, said in the policy statement that he co-authored. “The AAP believes there should be equal opportunity for every couple to access the economic stability and federal supports provided to married couples to raise children.”

The AAP is not alone in its support for gay marriage, as 49 percent of all Americans now believe that gays and lesbians should be granted the right to legally marry whomever they choose.  However, the AAP’s claim that gay marriage is what’s best for children flies in the face of the persistent argument that homosexuals are more likely to be pedophiles and, by extension, a threat to children.

“The AAP has long been an advocate for all children, and this updated policy reflects a natural progression in the Academy’s support for families,” said Ellen Perrin, the policy statement’s other author, said. “If a child has two loving and capable parents who choose to create a permanent bond, it’s in the best interest of their children that legal institutions allow them to do so.”

The AAP represents 60,000 pediatricians around the country, but the organization also speaks on behalf of children, a demographic that is often left without representation in the country’s legislative halls.

“The Academy advocates for the health of all children, and works with government, communities and other national organizations to shape many child health and safety issues,” the organization says on its website. Further down on the page, the organization claims:

“The American Academy of Pediatrics believes that the law ought to protect the health and well-being of children just as arduously as pediatricians do. When state legislators assemble, children’s issues deserve the same consideration as other matters.”

The AAP’s endorsement weakens the argument that gay marriage is a threat to traditional marriage and broader society. Parents trust pediatricians with their children’s well-being, possibly the greatest degree of trust a parent can bestow. While it would be over-reading things to suggest that pediatricians will change the politics of America’s parents single-handedly, it does leave one less concern the next time pollsters phone about whether a voter yet supports gay marriage and why.

Firaxis, the creators of such great PC games a Xcom and Sid Meier’s Civilization series is trying its hand at iOS with a game called Haunted Hollow. The new game will be available through the iTunes app store later this Spring.

The game will apparently be free-to-play which can have both good and bad aspects and will be a turn based strategy game that incorporates aspects of Civilization but gives you the ability to control Ghosts, Ghouls and other supernatural creatures.

Firaxis says that the game centers around you basically trying to take over a town with your monsters starting from your spooky old mansion. You will be competing against a computer player in single player mode or against another human in multiplayer mode.

With your mansion on one side of town, and your opponents on another the game is a race to spread your monsters throughout the region as quick as possible.

Haunted Hollow will allow you to choose just how you want to carry out your approach to the strategy. Do you want to add a new room to your mansion, or move one of your creatures out into the town?

The way you take on your opponent will decide whether you get the victory. By building another room, you will get new monsters to unleash. If you move out into town, you’ll capture valuable land.

When your monsters run into the opponents’ creatures a battle will ensue. In the end, whoever dominates the town will claim victory. You can also perform “scares” that will help you gain access to other houses.

The game will also send out angry villagers, who will randomly attack either you or your opponent and provide an extra obstacle to victory. Firaxis says that the game will be free to play but you can spend some cash to unlock different monsters in Haunted Hollow that will allow you to dominate your village better.

Actor Harold Perrineau and his wife Brittany welcomed their third child, and third daughter, Thursday morning.

Holiday Grace Perrineau was born at 2:54 am, People reports. The baby girl weighed in at 7 pounds and 5 ounces, and measured 21 inches.

“Holiday Grace is here, and we couldn’t be any happier,” the 49-year-old told the magazine. “Our family feels complete. Mommy and baby are doing well and big sisters Aurora and Wynter are [thrilled].”

Holiday Grace joins big sisters Aurora, 18, and Wynter Aria, 4 1/2.

Harold Perrineau is best known for his role as Michael Dawson on Lost. His character remained on the series until the twelfth episode of the sixth and final season.

Perrineau was recently cast to play drug kingpin Damon Pope, the main antagonist on the fifth season of FX’s Sons of Anarchy. Perrineau said that creator Kurt Sutter envisioned the character as the series’ version of heroin dealer Frank Lucas, who was portrayed by Denzel Washington in Ridley Scott’s 2007 film American Gangster. Lucas was known for cutting out the middleman and buying his supply directly from a source  in the Golden Triangle, one of Asia’s two main opium producing areas.

Perrineau will also be reprising his role as Julian Murch in the upcoming sequel to the 1999 film The Best Man. Co-star Nia Long said last month that the working title is The Best Man Christmas, which was originally scheduled to be released November 15, 2013, but may be pushed back a couple of weeks to be released on or around Christmas. The film begins shooting in April, and the entire cast of the original will be returning for the sequel, which finds the friends reuniting over the holidays after 15 years. However, they find that old rivalries and romances die hard.

Harold Perrineau And Wife Welcome Third Daughter is a post from: The Inquisitr

Carrie Ann Inaba’s father passed away just days before the Dancing with the Stars premiere on Monday, the Dancing with the Stars mentor and judge has revealed.

Inaba, who featured in Monday’s edition of the show, opened up about her father’s death on March 14 in a blog for People. She wrote:

“My father, Rodney Y Inaba, passed away this past Thursday morning and it’s been a really challenging time. Losing a loved one is something that is so very hard to understand and cope with. I’m filled with a tremendous sadness but also a relief, for he is in a better place now.”

The 45-year-old celebrity judge continued:

“I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make it through the show with all the emotions that have been overflowing. But I felt my father’s spirit was with me… supporting me and cheering me on. And I dedicated the show to him, in gratitude for all that he taught me about life – for his bravery, his courage, his huge heart and his love for the underdog.”

Inaba added that her dad was a “special man”, describing him as somebody who was ”never afraid to speak his mind” and “a pioneer, an entrepreneur, an animal lover.”

She also revealed she went ahead with the first show because that’s what her father would have wanted. Giving thanks to her team and the show’s other judges, she wrote, “In honor of my father, I chose to do the first show and not take the time off, because in my heart, I know he would have wanted it that way.”

Thankfully, Monday’s show went without a hitch – not something you could say about every one of Inaba’s DWTS appearances. Rounding off her post with one final tribute, the star said, “Dad, I know you’re up there dancing in joy (he used to do a little ballroom/social dancing when he was in the service). I love you.”

Thumbs-up for showing admirable courage, Carrie!
